  1. I want Lift to meet Lopen. Just imagine the possibilities...he introduces her to chouta, she makes smart remarks about his arm...that needs to be a novella all on its own.
  2. Did J.K. Rowling write it? I was under the impression that she was more of a supervisor. But even that's still pretty bad that such a result came about.
  3. Favorite Book: Deathly Hallows Favorite Character: Fred and George (seriously, who doesn't?) their Hogwarts exit was Amazing (Actually, all the Weaslys, even Percy) House: Ravenclaw (and Puckwudgie) Cursed Child was okay. Not a huge fan of the plot line, but the idea of what might've happened to the crew had certain things not happened, was cool.
  4. Wayne the Worldhopper. I like the sound of that. As to how he would get to the cognitive realm, Wayne just has that innate ability to do strange things and getting to that realm is top priority. He's made mention before about hearing voices in his head, though it could've just been a joke, and his relationship with Wax makes it seem plausible that being in that "career" more fun. Just imagine: Wax is in trouble and Wayne not only uses his bendalloy bubbles, but pops in and out of the cognitive realm to help him, but Wax has gotten so used to Wayne's antics that he just takes it for granted. Question: can Mistings/Mistborns/Ferchumists/etc use their powers in the cognitive realm, or is it like in Avatar where bending is inactive in the Spirit World?
  5. I feel like it was Prof. because of that clue "has a cool nickname that is a compound word". Marsh had Ironeyes, but used a grand total of about...one time, by Spook in book one. His other cameo with that name would be in Era 2. Prof. went by his Epic name after he went towards the antagonistical side, which is basically the third book.
  6. I think you need to look up the definition of simple.
  7. This is so cool! I never really thought about this! First of the Sun: Fourth of The First Vorin: Ylanly Unakalaki: Funamarakani'imatobara'apalukuname Shin: Sailor-daughter-Manasnapang Korathe: Mesaori (Aon Sao for intelligence) Returned: Timebridger (I like doing family history work) Threnodite: Forsaken Emsworth And just for fun: Kandra: RiTaan (has either a double letter or repeating sound [OreSeur] and usually two syllables)
  8. I have a friend who is a definitely a combination of Wayne and Lift. She loves food and sarcastic comments.
  9. Ah, but why be a human when you can be a majestic beast of Investiture and of the same kind as Shadowfax and Arion? And if the Shard was truly a zoo, I need proof of the chickens. Or the Aviar.
  10. I feel like I'm a mix of Vin and Kaladin. For Vin, I'm used to trying to make myself small around big crowds, and I have the same fear of being betrayed by people I thought I knew, and even tend to try and not get too attached. With Kaladin, mainly because he tries so hard to protect people even though they may be complete jerks (*cough* Elhokar). I might be a bit of Shai, because I like to think that I can read people pretty well. If there was a person that I would want to be like, it would be Wayne. Seriously, who wouldn't? Except for his said past, he's just Rusting awesome. Him or Lopen.
  11. Please do so! The rest of these bottom feeders or dwindling. Who knows? Your style may be just what this thread needs to make it snappy.
  12. Have you all gone daft in your heads? The last insult was approximately 3 days ago, and it was so dry as to make a reference insinuating that any of here would think Reckoners are part of the Cosmere. The pure fact that you might make mention of it proves that you are like all the other less dedicated folk within Sanderson crowd.
  13. Who are you calling a CHULL? If there was ever one of those slow-minded crustaceans on this thread, if would be the one who spells their name with a "Cr00k3d" : a perfect example of some chull eyes framed by a crooked claw.
  14. . I course they got a notification. Your mindless insults and poorly placed emojis were so irksome and hideous that this thread spread the word, begging for someone to come and create a better coverup.
  15. I'm trying that. I feel that way with Studio C. It's a problem.
  16. That happens all the time with me and my older siblings! Our parents introduce us to things and then we completely overshoot the runway. I've tried educating my parents about the Cosmere (my sister introduced me to Sanderson) but they just smile and nod and I realize that they have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. I'm extremely hyped for Oathbringer to come out: 41% through the 4th and 5th drafts!
  17. Wow. Deep stuff. I can applaud. If not love, what else is open, open to the human race. Can we, the flesh that live on this dirt, know not of what we face? There are only so many other things that are felt within our breasts. Everything else is felt elsewhere, in the north, south, east and west. Without love, what becomes of greed, for greed is the love of that green. Without love, where is pride, having others look up, to the things that they've already seen. Without passion, there's no ambition, without zeal there's no tradition. If love is that which unbinds all, then how did we come to fruition? It's the bullet, a cavity, a drug sure why not, so is everything else that we know But it's the context that makes them seem less of threat, their intentions it will show A bullet in the chamber, the last of its kind, it's accuracy will rule what comes next For find its mark it must or else, those friends, family, neighbors become wrecks A cavity of the teeth, of the mind, of the soul, formed when a person overdosed But it's also a warning, a caution to follow, invest but don't become so engrossed Drugs loose the mind from of the whims of the world, the trials and darkness all around But once at the end, pain isn't the one, you want as your guide from the ground It is God's grace, how He keeps us strong. But realize that His children we are The princes and princesses of a divine being, but of course, with "human" mixed in the jar
  18. You're never to young to to join bunch of nerds, geeks, worldhoppers, Radiants, Mistings, people with excessive time, people with no time, people who could care less about time...you get the idea. I'd have to say Words of Radiance like @BrightnessRadiant up above because of the way lots of the mysteries began to spiral into one solution (not that all of the mysteries are answered yet; still plenty of loose ends), but the novella The Emperor's Soul is also one of my favorites. I love how Sanderson was able to take that idea of being able to read a person just by their actions/descriptions/word of mouth and turn it into a completely new and complex art, and in essence, how truly difficult it is to say that you know someone. Favorite non-Sanderson book... er... probably somewhere around Camp Half-Blood, Hogwarts, Middle-Earth, Tortall, and Alagaesia.
  19. ...when your woken up at 5:30 in the morning for school by your alarm clock and you say it "I'm dead sule, kolo?"
  20. ...just a bunch of noses floating around when you start bouncing off walls?
  21. (Just out of the battle, this an an amazing.) Ah, ignorance is bliss, and pride your wall But the higher they are, the harder they fall Yes of course it's the truth, but to all it applies Especially to those who in denial they rise
  22. Thanks! I'm pretty sure that I've read all of his books except for Alcatraz, Legion, and Infinity Blade.I'd have to say that Stormlight Archive is my favorite though, followed by Emperor's Soul. Thanks! Fudge is pretty good. What about peanut butter fudge ice cream?
  23. That's right. The Dark Side has cookies. (Agh, sorry about all the Star Wars references, don't really know where they're coming from.) What about cheesecake?
