  1. Anyway, time for more RP: The Wanderer looked around, to see if there was anyone else familiar. There was another that he wasn't sure about, but he didn't think so. Then he saw a man talking to a stick. "Hello, is there a reason you're talking to a stick?" @StrikerEZ that's you. +44 makes 191.
  2. This does make some sense. If Brightness is in fact the Son bladebearer, that is a point to lynch her sooner...but the fact that she survived an attack makes that somewhat less likely. (The Sons could have a guardsman who's consistently protecting their bladebearer just in case, but the threat of the Ghostbloods controlling the lynch is a point on the other side.) Though, if we all agree to lynch Jon once BR is dealt with, that would mean they couldn't control the lynch until that's done with. Still, the point about the Ghostbloods gaining more influence over the lynch if not dealt with is a concern. So I think the biggest question at hand is: What is BR's role. If it's anything other than Shardbearer (blade), we want to lynch Jon. If it is Shardbearer (blade), then lynching her will be a big boost for peace...but (and this just occurred to me) if the Parshendi shardbearer then decided to go for the Voidbringer victory, it'd be very difficult for the Alethi to win. BR Jon...but I propose we all pledge that if the Parshendi lose their Shardbearer by any means, we lynch BR (if she's not dead yet), even if we'd be able to get a Sons victory without it or it results in a Voidbringer victory (though in case the Ghostbloods are too powerful at that point, I propose that the Parshendi have the ability to cancel or delay this pledge).
  3. So you think that either BR was Shardplate and Orlok was protected, or vice versa, but not both Shardplate or both protected? Any particular reason for that?
  4. "Apparently I misunderstood; I was informed of one of your adventures, guarding House Conrad against the schemes of Venture. I had presumed that this was your only adventure, but from your response I take it that this was not the case. In that case, I am even more pleased to meet, or, shall I say, re-meet, a fellow wanderer." +59 makes 147 I had been under the impression that each person would get a completely different item...but now that you mention it, the write-up does mention Marks, so it must be only the carvings that are different.
  5. With two exceptions, apparently. And it sounded like they're supposed to be used this cycle, and may even result in death for anyone who doesn't. Anyway, on to more RP: The Wanderer looked around. Wait a second...was that... He went over to Locke Tekiel. "Fancy seeing you here. You might be glad to know that the loyal guards did eventually manage to take out all the Venture spies." @OrlokTsubodai Another 38 words, 88 total.
  6. The Wanderer looked at his bracelet. At last, all sixteen gems were glowing. Perhaps now...his thoughts were interrupted as he suddenly found himself around a fire, with nineteen other people, being addressed by a hooded man. Apparently, his journey was not over yet...but soon. Soon he would be returning home. Word count: 50. More will be coming later.
  7. Ok, before I read this as "my alignment is ghostblood". Now that I reread, I see my mistake: You were saying that a ghostblood learned your role. Ah. I misread her post, as I just (earlier in this post) mentioned.
  8. Wait, role? You mean alignment, I assume? And that would imply that the Ghostblood kill was Flash; there's no way they'd attack one of their own and then have her claim. And we've established that Drake was the SoH kill. So that suggests the Sons hit Drake, the Ghostbloods hit Flash, and the new Parshendi Shardbearer hit Brightness. Though why the Parshendi would go after a Ghostblood if the Ghostbloods are hitting Alethi is another question; maybe someone didn't learn your role and they just went after you because you're Alethi. (In which case, thanks for the info.) Oh, and I'm voting Jondesu. He's pretty much confirmed to be a Ghostblood at this point, and will take two votes to eliminate (unless someone with a shardblade goes after him, which seems sort of unlikely, seeing as they didn't last cycle, or the Voidbringers take him out, which is really unlikely). Taking out BR is another valid possibility, since she admitted to being a Ghostblood, but I'm sort of hoping that whoever attacked her last cycle will finish the job.
  9. I'd be the guy who finds it easier to make a good nine-pointer than a six-pointer, because I know enough math for the construction. (Making a nine-pointer can be done with just the ability to bisect arcs and find the point opposite a given point; six-pointers require trisection.)
  10. A Surgebinder with unlimited Stormlight is pretty much equivalent to having gold compounding. Steel+Zinc compounding would still give them a win, though.
  11. Hmm...what do we do when there's a rule that the GM intended to be in the game, but never put in the actual rules or said publicly, and people then play without that restriction? It seems to me like it might be easier to change the official rules to match the publicly stated rules than to try to backtrack everybody following an unintended rule.
  12. I didn't catch that either, and have been playing without that. Where was that rule, and @Seonid how do we deal with the fact that I (and apparently quite a few others) have been playing without it?
  13. Sorry, prologue. The one that happens that night.
  14. Rayse really doesn't want to take up any other Shards, and if someone else were to take up something alongside Odium (after Rayse is killed), it'd likely be Honor. (Kaladin might very well have the necessary attunement to both Honor and Odium...but that would be the end of book 10, not book 5. More likely, Rayse won't die until the end of Mistborn age 4.)
  15. By the way, I'm curious: Would you accept Myrddraal as members?
  16. Of course, that advice can be taken in one of two ways...as anyone who's completed the Reckoners should be aware. No reason you can't do all those things and not be lazy.
