    i think is tied to the shallan's early chidlhood. she spoke the first ideal before her mother try to kill her, don't think she found the word, but someone teach them to her, how her mother know the proto radiant status of her daughter? why tried to kill her? how his the 'friend' joined shallan's mother that night? the story of shallan isn't clear, many mystery need to be resolved.

It comes to those with the will. ” —15th stanza of the Song of Listing some parshman taking warform don't strike me strange. taking the form don't create a link to the unmade (eshonai in stormform can hear 'new rythms'), but some officer in form of power can rule the common soldier, specially if the race how wage war are enslaved you and your friend for generations.

    efficent trade? with a big chunk of the land half continent away, it will be take weeks to go to kurth from the land in the eastern fringe. you need to have some goods to trade for actual trading. the island of kurth isn't so large, for a naval force you need not only some ports to hold the ship, but material to build them, food for the sailort, etc... a location in the east land of rishir is for sure a better place for them. the position don't make sense for me, but is strange a island so close to iri to be part of rishir (and far away form any other rishir island/land), so it can be, but the strange location must had some external explanation. alethela is the home of the main body of the KR, and any other military force, and your region is half in alethela. i find high improbable any 'staging ground' of the enemy can be in the place of the main defender's kingdom. PS: there is a logic error if you try to explain a teory with a result of that theory

    the island of kurth is part of rishir (it is colored with a darker shade of brown) tactical and logistic wise kurth is an awful place for the oathgate, way too close to the iri oathgate, in the end of the archipelagos and in the opposite position of the main continetal land of the kingdom.

    the oathgate are tied to the silver kingdoms (https://coppermind.net/wiki/Silver_Kingdoms). alethela and valhav are quite different from alethkar and jah keved, i suppose jasnah is wrong and the oathgate of rishir will be in the north coast (and it will fill the gap). we know most of the 'soldier' of the silver kingdoms are in alethela, it will make possibile a quick response if anytihing happen inside them.

    i don't have take any assumption on who and why the plain was shattered, but only when. we know the city fall in the aharietiam, four millenia and half ago the present time. the recreance is two millenia ago (the best guessing). the oathgate don't had any strong real difference in 'crem deposit' with the bulding near of them (the build adolin use for his surprise assault). stormseat was abbandoned no long after the shattering, the city and the oathgate.

    a shardplate section can withstand only a few shardblade blow before disintegrate. the gauntlet-helm was used to deflect the hit, so don't assorb the full blow, but kaladin hold two shardbearer, a normal plate section don't think can resist so long fight without broken for good.

    stormseat was lost in the 'last' desolation (the desolation ending in the herald leave the honorblade), the recreance is a couple of millenia after that. the city has entombed with crem long before the lock gate after the recreance.

    IIRC shallan's father don't had the ghostblood's tattoo, only his prospector.

    WotK is written in the shadowdays, WoR a couple of century after the recreance. oathbringer is written by a vorin man/woman. it's for sure a 'jounger' book compared to WotK and WoR.

    i overestimate the effective 'cost' of spanreed. i supposed a house owner of many spanreed to be restricted to lighyeyed of mid-high dahn, and a castoff like roshone don't have the meaning to buy a spanreed linked to tashikk and have a couple linked to the man/woman in charge of his princedom land

    the modern fabrial enhanced, damper, mimic the moviment (both the same or the opposite) detect movement... i don't see any surge can be linked to this effect, but they are (near) all 'manipulation' of the normal 'feature' of the world.

    in the starfall vision one thing I find alwasy 'off'. the order of stoneward don't have any clear movement enhanced surge, but the two radiant come to the same place the same time. the first fight between szeth and kaladin the first try to lash the second, but fail make him change direction of the fall. this can be because all two are windrunner (sort of), but i think is a 'feat' shared between all surgebinder, so the windrunner cannot have lashed the stoneward all the way out. then how? fabrial don't work using surge, a wob state the 'magic' of fabrial different from the surge, and soulcasting is a surge, like regrowth or elsecalling (oathgate), the people can call them 'fabrial' but i think the devices are realy different

    a proof in that direction is the change of the name, all the herald had in the vorin church simmetrical name, and kalak had the vowel changed (kalak -> kelek)

    my money are on Taravangian and Gavilar. Taravangian In is WoR interlude spoke of the gavilar vision, reported to him from gavilar himself in the night of his assassination the last wil be Gavilar to gain the full picture of that night.

    the memory of the spren haven't be untruth, they memory can be spotted, they forgot near all the memory, but the memory coming back aren't changed by modern way of thinking
