  1. How many blades and plates will he win before, the opposition realize his true mission, and how many will they loose before he is forced to stop? Does he have a plan for which opponents to target? THose that are- most likely to bet their blades in the match, easiest to beat at duels, greatest opponent to his father's cause, guilty of having insulted him and his father the most/worst, specific high prince whose loss of shard would be that more dependent on other to provide shard bearers, rich in shards, only shard blade wielders, so less experienced in plate fighting as well, only shard plate wielders, so less experienced in blade fighting as well, only those with both blade and plate What happen if he looses his own sword, it would ruin his luck ritual? It is said about 30 are at the plains, so that represents 30 duels, but that would never happen. Say each of the nine princes have on average, 3-4 shard bearers. We know one only has one. Some likely only have one or two, others have more than the average. I doubt that there is a high prince with none. I am thinking possibly ten, with 15 at the very most, but i am likely over estimating the guy. How often do they they parties/feast, every night? Imagine what a small force of shard bearers could do on plateau assualts, much easier to win. THey would prove the usefulness of a united shard force against the enemy, it would be strong enough to possibly help end the war.
  2. In soulcasting each of the ten gems stones access different material? THis means there are specific soul casters for each stuff? SO I wonder, as all surgebinding can be reproduce by fabials, what would the gem stones produce in the other orders? Also, I wonder as the knights radiants while remebered as fighters, they also did other stuff, so they would have non combative uses of their abilities as well.
  3. Is the parshendi shard bearer the last one? WHat does it mean for the war if her plates are taken?
  4. There are these songs that are in the dawn chant, they are based on the heralds. So i wonder if translated, they might contain the oath of the knight radiants. THe ones who kept the songs alive, also preserved the way of kings book as well. If the oaths are so key to the knights, having access to them all, would help them greatly.
  5. Apparently there is unknown marks, and other things that are unknown. I wonder could he already be a rithmatist, but his powers are kind of locked/blocked. If chalk and charcoal can be used, what about another medium?
  6. What if Sel instead of a drive created a tunnel/door to other worlds? POssibly able to accessed from both directions, but definitly one way travel.
  7. THe cover with Kaladin, the kneeling spear man, in the full version, there is a guy in faded/grubby white, standing on a pile of corpses, with a sword, which i guess is a shardblade. That is the back side of the cover. We can all guess who that is, so the big fight is apparently on the shattered plains themselves. Kaladin is supposed to guard dalinor and his family, so would they accompany his sons on to the battlefield themselves, or stick to the king. An assassination on the plains would be easier than in the camps, and his abilities would allow for a quick escape. The thing is, his team would know the powers are dependant on storm light, so every crystal and stone would be removed or covered, until the ooponent is weaken enough to be over whelmed by superior numbers.
  8. While the assignation from multiple POVs is the plan, I wonder if some of the very minor POVs from minor characters will be used as interludes or flash backs, just to add to the world building.
  9. DArkeyes dont get shards, even king body guards, but his paranoia may be great enought, to ensure they get half shards. A windrunner armed with a shield like that, could take down a shardbearer, with only minimal skiil. That gem on the blade, what happens if destroyed during battle? seems like it may be a weakness, as gems are fragile. if diferent gems allow for different aspects of soul casting, does that mean the gems provide different abilities for each order.
  10. From the list the missing chapters are all shallan, so something big there. There seems to be a missing kaladin chapter, but it might simply have been added to one posted.
  11. Those monks have an advantage, in that, their powers can be simply fuel by sacrificing people. These powers are dependant on distance from a place, so I wonder if the place where they make the monks, is the only place they can make the monks, like how the people of elantris can only be made by people close by. We know elantris solf their goods on the open market, so it stands to reason some forged goods are able to go beyond the region in which soul forging is possible. WOuld the soul forger perhaps go to elantirs just to hide? I wonder, could she create a way to be powered by the energy elantris provides instead.
  12. Gifters will be forced to side with reckoners and the faithful, as if the epics realize the only ways non epics can match them, is via epics that give them powers. Gifters are a threat to the supremacy of epics, the reckoners would never have stoped steelheart without a gifter. They are naturally more likely to retain their humanity. Dueto the smal number of them, it wont be that detrimental to them, so simple solution.
  13. I think the parshendi attack the camp with a hugh storm, and in return, dalinar unite them and send them to attack straight into the enemy. Wiould the parsh attack dalinor or focus on the more vulnerable camps, which are not up to the codes yert. The thing is the storms bring stormlight, which power surgebinders, so if they believe the KR, they risk facing them magically enhanced. Dalinor will be badly affected possibly, it could damage his reputation if it happens in public, I wonder what happens if he had a really long vision. The gem on the sword, that is the link/anchor between the man and weapon, so if destroyed, what does that mean for the shard? if not linked, can the sword still be used? It is a vulnerability. I hope shen and the lady parshendi end up together. Say there are 30 shard bearers in the camp, does that mean 30 swords, or 30 sets of plate and sword, or there are 30 shards, swords and plates combined. What would be the priority, blades or swords? They are fighting a war, so it is likely swords are forst. How many can he duel for before it is figured out they are collecting the shards? At first, they can make it seem, now he is finally allowed to duel, he will prove every critic wrong, by taking every shard he can, making those others regret speaking poorly of him and his family. eventually however, it will be seen as a powerplay. it might be before or after, when people stop dueling with him, and his recognized mastery of shards. I am thinking about 10 shards. I wonder now he has blade and plate, the little brother will be challenged as well. he needs to be taught to fight soon, at least more in depth than before. Do any of briidge four know the secret of the new bright lord, or that they may need to keep his captain from killing him.
  14. A high storm is not the best weapon against the Knights, as they absorb storm light, so while threatened by the storm, all their magical abilities will be enhanced.
  15. It has been said that fabrials can mimic every form of surge binding. So anything the knights can pull off, gemhearts and gemstones can recreate. In soul casting, to target specific transformations. This is done by using specific gem stones, ten stones. So this makes me think that each type of surgebinding could potentially divided into 10 aspects. That means the abilities we ave seen have minor aspects, or a whole range of abilities they may yet acheive.
  16. I wonder do the island have gem hearts, they might be massice?
  17. The lancet is said to be extinct from that island, you know what else is said to be extinct, are the giant creatures which can hold gem hearts. So i wonder if it is just a young one. Also, i am betting that the two traders will make a visit to the shattered plains.
  18. Fabrials are made via captured Sren. What if the Shards are captured/trapped, dead/undead spren? What would happens if the 5 ideals are said wearing the armor. That would turn every shard beared into one of the knight radiants, so useful in the future when the important battles come..
  19. I think some time in the future, he will back kaladin againts the brightlord who sent his brother into the army.
  20. We know that there are some kind of altered spren, so I wonder what that means if a parshendi bonds with one? I think it would make them enter the voidbringer form. So it stands to reasonson escape. I wonder if te void bringer used their dead as vessels, explains their horror at their dead being messed with.
  21. Is it possible to share spren? what would a link between parshendi and men mean?
  22. I have an idea about the shards that exist in the world. Human fabrials, items powered by storm light, are created by binding a spren inside. For some reason Syl does not like the shardplates or shard blades. When oath was broken, shard plates and armor were abandoned. I think that once a knight radiant has spoken all the vows, their armor and weapon changes into shards, or their spren becomes them. When they were abandoned, those spren were permanently trapped, killed possibly by the knights. That is why syl dislikes them, it carries the dead shell of her kind. they seem to her zombie like.
  23. if the guard will be patrolling the hills, that means they could possibly encounter the heretic and her apprentice on the way to camp. Would their spren recognise each other?
  24. It is actually my initials, So the Highprince of war is not the only target, all of them so to cause the most chaos as possible. This seems like a long term project, as the only time they are gathered are at parties, and there would simply be too many to fight. If he goes after them seperatly, the later ones will get warnings.
