  1. shard plates can shatter, they need storm light to repair themselves. So it will break like ordinary plate, if drained. i wonder if night blood can unbind a linked blade. So it is potentially possible to take a blade with out killing them.
  2. We know that each different spren give the parshendi a new form. Void spren give them powerful forms. SOme might even be monsters of a type that mere mortals can not stand against. THe blades are clearly meant to fight something increadibly powerful and dangerous. SO the blades are meant to fight monsters. Something that normal sword or arrows can deal with.
  3. NIghtblood fed on breath, so this suggest he feeds on power/magic. I am betting stormlight will get drained by the blade, the thing is that shard blades are spren, fragments of powers. SO could the blade potentially feed on them. I am betting this herald want to use tha assain in white to take out some shard users, as nightblood would do great against plate and blade.
  4. WHat if they link the plate to a fabrial, and the fabrial to a person? SOrt of like morphers from power rangers. The device can act as a resevoir of storm light, and storage for the plates. That way they dont need to link to every piece, just the morpher.
  5. if blades are spren, and spren are power, what happens when night blade hits it? if not restore the spren, then sets it free.
  6. i meant that the parshendi could have multiple evil forms due to the differing void sprens, forms that need shard blades to fight.
  7. if he is broken, could he be rebuilt in a purposely created knight radiant? if done right, alot of power to the one behind it.
  8. just becuse it is difficult or near impossible, in no reason not to try. it could gain them good will with the other spren. there are more than one type of void spren, so some type of forms might truly need blades.
  9. The spren have tried to restore the swords, but have humans ever tried to do so? restoring the spren would allow for hopefully more full knights able to fight. Those linked to the blades have the biggest chance of healing them. Would shard blade wielders give up their blades in exchange for shard plate, which is most likely built in the refound city. instead of gained through batlle, they could be exchanged for plate. We know each blade has its own patterns and names, so i wonder if the type of spren could be determined, so which knights are best to take them up.
  10. Were heralds created or were they simple bestowed power? Can they pass on their power on to create new heralds?
  11. Each gem stone is associated with something unique, so what would associate here? THe shards dont get a material form that often, as it seperates power from a shard wielder. So if void spren are part of odium, is htey seperate it from him? It weakens him, so leave him vulnerable. We know some void spren are greater than the rest, so if they target them, they could hurt him.
  12. I wonder if htere was a fabrial alternative to horses, something like a bike or car to transport men and goods.
  13. THey might hate the blades due to the screaming, but they are in a war to survival, to save all of humanity. THe blades are a potential asset to be used for or against them, so best ensure they are under their control.
  14. Thw parshendi bridgeman remained himself, so i wonder, if his people in the safe forms, are immune to the true void bringers. Use a bondsmith, and those gems that contain a spren, to remove the voidspren, and insert the good one. negate their advantage.
  15. The shards have epic power, the city might not have simply been built in a location, that location could have been shaped by the mountain around it.
  16. bondsmiths are very rare. I wonder if they could rebond the shard blades to worth humans to restore them.
  17. I wonder if the heralds ever had children before they broke their oaths? Imagine the effect on the gene pool. It is far more possible that after the oath breaking, the remaining nine heralds did at some point have their own children.
  18. imagine horseshoes that allow a horse to walk upon any surface, at any angle. sort of similar to the seven league boots of myth.
  19. What would happen if al ten heralds survived? would they need to return to the place of pain.
  20. I wonder if he will discover that the people who he now works for, influenced the situation in which his parents died.
  21. We know pren can be contained in a gem, so what happens if a shard blade in sealed in a gem. The reason why i hope they gather the blades, as the only people that has access to the city, means they potentially have the ability to fight the voidbbringers on a larger scale.
  22. Wel i still hope that the spren could be restored. Just like the blue people were restored to their true forms in the world of sel. Each blade represents a potetnial future knight radiant. Just as the other broken magics in a world can be restored. I dont believe the mass oath breaking of hte knight was the first time, knight broke their words some how. I bet that before then, occaionally singular knight would break their words, and their spren would end up stuck as a blade. So i bet there was a way to restore them then, so it could be done again.
  23. They are fighting for survival with limited resources. So until the knight and heralds are restored, or if they ever are, then every blade is critical. Also, it would be a powerplay with other countries, if forced to march against monsters, they would rather have shard wearers being their back up rather then mere mortals. Spren are forces, so can not truly die. Syl died and was reborn, so it is possible that ll the blades could be restored, so regaining the respect of the spren, so get them back as allies, so encourage more to bond with knights. Each blade represent a knight that could be made, So it wouild be importatnt.
  24. What if one of the other factions will attempt to co opt the wife, and her allies and resources for their plans. In exchange for bringing down dalinar and his people.
  25. I do see the wife coming after him for revenge, as well as some of his allies. NOt because they care about him, but because he harmed their own well being.
