Part of me hopes they will sail to origin, or even the void version. But what about that lost Aimia, since it is seperated from the mainland by want and the original home land of her pet.

unmade [OB] Those who were made, then Unmade.

The unmade could date back to when odium was their original God, and he reshaped them in revenge. -
Theses lesser spren find it easier to exist in the material world, but it takes unique circumstances to sustain themselves there.

[OB] A look into the names of the Unmade

The dustmother is totally unknown. -
The brief quote about the black fisher makes me think he is linked to grief, sadness, pain or even depression.

I bet living shard plate is easier to put on and remove. I wonder how such spren would react to their high spren becoming a dead eye.

The black fisher description sounds like it's domain is pain, like sadness, grief or depression.

Sure the two high spren both have transportation, but they each have a different other surge binding.

If the fused can return via the ever storm, could that allow a slain herald return in a similar manner?

Could you make a fabrial that is fueled by void light if the gemstone contained a void spren?

unmade [OB] Those who were made, then Unmade.
.S.A.M.K.M replied to Oathforger's topic in Stormlight Archive
We know they are splinters of odium power, so why would he make them then unmake them? Odium was said to be the original human God, so they could have been the equivalent of the nightmother or storm father. Then when humans turned to the spren if Roshar, he took his nine and remade them in Vengence. -

[OB] Name for Dulling Process?
.S.A.M.K.M replied to Reckless Disregard's topic in Stormlight Archive
I just had an idea, Eshonai was the sole Parshendi Shard bearer. I wonder if Timber is an echo of the spren of her blade, healed due to the Everstorm. Which is why it speaks to Venli using listerner songs. Just like how healed parshmen spoke the language of the locals, and behaved in a similar manner. So once she says the word that allow a blade to form, the blade the bad guys have will disappear and reappear in her hands. Imagine if the use of the blades lead to a secret chapter of the Knights radiants to be formed amongst the void bringers. do we know what they are doing with the current shards in their hands? Could this effect be duplicated using the humans with Parshendi blood as a replacement, to restore blade? So recruit heavily amongst the horn eaters and herdazians. -
I want to see Rock as the king of the stone eater peaks, leading his people into battle screaming, "can you smell what the Rock is cooking?" He might be an awesome replacement for the current king of Jah keved.

[OB] Prior Desolations; who goes back to Damnation?
.S.A.M.K.M replied to Reckless Disregard's topic in Stormlight Archive
That's the whole point I was trying to make. The unmade are in a way more dangerous than the fused and higher rank, so they should be more important to bind rather than the fused. i just had an idea, why were the heralds tortured in damnation? They carried honor blades, but what if as splinters of honor they were forbidden from being used. It would be as if honor was breaking the pact. Imagine if the heralds somehow became full knight radiants, with their own shard blade and plate. Those would be free to use.- 5 replies

The nightwatch is believed to be of cultivation, while the storm father is of honor. So it is assumed the sibling is of both shards. I wonder how it is affected by cultivation hiding and honor dying, that combined with the loss of its bond smith could have affected it deeply.

If plate is truly a form of corporeal spren, then it stands to reason it could be contained in a gem, which might mean my idea of summoning belts for the armor might not be do far fetched.

[OB] Prior Desolations; who goes back to Damnation?
.S.A.M.K.M replied to Reckless Disregard's topic in Stormlight Archive
Why are the unmade the only ones not sent to damnation? it seems that that the fused and void spren are bound there. Now it seems the fused are bound to the ever storm. If the storm could be trapped or bound in some manner, it could let it be used against the fused in some way. Thus dealing with them permanently without the oath pact. i kinda like the idea of the unmade being trapped on damnation. I have this idea that they could be used as a weapon against the fused.- 5 replies

[OB] Name for Dulling Process?
.S.A.M.K.M replied to Reckless Disregard's topic in Stormlight Archive
I wonder if this could be somehow duplicated in some manner. Specificly against the fused. Either to remove their anger and hatred that fuels them, keeping them from moving on, or to somehow break the limit sanity and control, so they won't be able to reason or plan. -
unmade [OB] Those who were made, then Unmade.
.S.A.M.K.M replied to Oathforger's topic in Stormlight Archive
Apparently the ever storm is something new, and it alter the oath pact. Before the fused were sent back to damnation upon their death, to return upon the next desolation, but now every time Odium or the listerners summon the ever storm, the fused can return to mortal form. I am wondering if it is something akin to a void version of the storm father. A creation of odium, similar to the unmade themselves. I doubt it has a fraction of their power, but does have a specific power and purpose. if the storm can summon the fused, I wonder just how linked/connected they are to this storm. I ould be used against them in some manner. I have this theory that the unmade could be all trapped and used in a fabrial, to be used against the enemy. The ever storm could be the means how the unmade could be used against the fused. -
theory [OB] Ba-Ado-Mishram's Location
.S.A.M.K.M replied to Windrunner's topic in Stormlight Archive
The thing is thing is the king was specificly saying that with the right gem, you could trap even one of their gods. If it was void light, why was he speaking about gods and not their power. -
It is believed that plate is made from lesser spren like wind spren. The gems in it store storm light and anchors it to this world. I wonder if the ancients had fabrials to summon and dismiss plate at need. I bet that if the plate is drained of power and destroyed, the spren would be free to roam. The lesser spren is less capable, so not able to change like the blade.
-
I have this theory about what could one day happen to the fused and the unmade, and the location of origin or the void version could be key to it.
-
I remember a spren in shadesmar saying that they rarely ever see wind spren due to them spending nearly all their time in the material world. We know plate is healed and fueled by storm light, so I bet feeding it storm light keeps it anchored to this world. The gemstones placed on it, stores extra power and tie it more firmly to this side of the veil. I bet if plate is completely drained and destroyed, the plate would be permanently lost. In the modern times, since they are so valuable, most stop destroying the plate as soon as the wearer is dead or incapacitated. when the Knights broke their oaths and abandoned the gear, the conflict was so intense over the plate and blades, most plate could be lost. Since blades are different, they remained intact. i bet all the ten high spren of the orders, have a associated linked lesser spren. We are slowly building a list of the high spren, but we need to create one for spren that could form plate. I wonder how many we have seen so far.
