  1. I wonder if odium might use magic or assets from that world in his campaign against Roshar.
  2. Ten is number associated with honor, burn odium is linked to nine. i am leaning to spren creations similar to the midnight essence. They would have a common origin.
  3. Anyone have an idea what they all are. It has been said that the midnight essence and thunderclasts are two of them. There are many of them, but they are all similar to each other. Other candidates have some very differing forms, which would total more than eight. Since the midnight essence is created by one of the unmade, the other death might have similar origins. It is possible that some of the deaths are corrupted spren but that likely means more than nine forms of them. the fused, unmade and regales could be some other possibilities, but they have multiple different forms so it is not my favorite theory.
  4. I wonder if the Vorin church might suggest an expedition back to the original home world. Make their own attempt to reclaim the tranquil halls.
  5. Say the fourth ideal grants him a set of shard plate, what could a knight sworn to all five oaths be capable of? I am hoping for something that sets him apart from other lesser wind runners.
  6. I have this theory on how to deal with the nine and the fused in a potentially permanent manner. The loss of such a key aspect of his force would stall his plans, and make his conquest and consolidation of Roshar far trickier. He would still have the void spren and all his power
  7. I have this theory that one day the fused with either pass on, or all be transformed into a new type of thunderclast to populate this world.
  8. We know the fused and void spren get trapped on damnation, I was thinking what if they use the nine to remake the fused into a type of thunderclast to populate that barren world. just as how the tower needs the Knights to make it hapiable, I could the Knights making some regions of that world livable. The thing is storm light available there. Returning to that world was not viable for the humans before, but not they have the power and magic to repair some of the damage. how did they travel before? Is there some kind of gate or path way that exists? They have flying cities, I suppose it could be possible they somehow crossed space to reach a new world.
  9. Does it count if the daggers are taken to damnation? That can't be tortured while trapped in them.
  10. If the fused are tied somehow to the Everstorm, that could be used against them if the oath pact is broken. Since the high storm comes from origin, it makes sense if the ever storm comes from the void version. my theory is that using an epic fabrial containing all of the unmade in perfect gemstones, they could target every one of the fused via the ever storm. Using the power of the unmade, to transform them permanently into a form of a thunderclast. A new species to populate the desolate world of blaize.
  11. I can't wait until shallan shares what she knows of the sons of honor with the Kholins. The idea that the king was purposely trying to bring back the void bringers would be deeply upsetting.
  12. We know the Knights had other kinds of fabrials, I wonder if there were any that enhanced a ship. That would be a cool addition to the ship.
  13. The diagram is as fake as the Terris prophercy from the final empire. Cultivation is giving odium enough rope to hang himself.
  14. Since the end of book three, we are all guessing the unmade will some how be trapped in perfect gemstones. The thing is that we know of one unmade that was trapped and somehow escaped. While it was trapped by a light weaver not a bond smith, so that could explain how it got free. Also, even if they are all captured, we could expect the fused, void spren and the forces of odium, all attempting to set them free once more. Gemstones can always be shattered or broken. i have this idea the unmade could be used in a giant fabrial, aimed at the fused. We know that at least one of them can affect both man and listerner. Another was linked and connected so deeply, that the listerners were deeply crippled. The fused are already deeply damaged and broken, so if the fused were joined to the unmade, it would remake them. One of the unmade when placed into a gemstone and swallowed remakes the host. Another of the nine, creates a type of spren. Together that could form a vessel to contain the whole fabrial of the nine, forever trapping them together.
  15. I wonder if the presence of all of the honor blades might be enough to awaken the tower. we know the heralds are tied to the oath pact, but does that include their sword.
  16. We know there are copies of the diagram out there, imagine if Renarin gets access to one some how. That would really mess with the state of play.
  17. A war would push the Parshendi into searching for forms of power, and it would make those like the sons of honor to search out new sources of powerful for themsemselves. i wonder if Ulim was unknowingly drawn to the presence of a trapped unmade, not necessarily straight to it, but in the same region. Sort of how the unmade can affect region, the thrill and death rattles being an example of this.
  18. Odium is all about passion, not much about self control. Renarin is a knight radiant, yet his spren is apparently corrupted. So he could technically draw upon the power of multiple magics. So the knight radiants might be a way to safely channel at least a portion of odium power, especially if that corrupter of spren in truly looking to defect.
  19. Nale has also been able to take control of the order of sky breakers, and hunt down potential surge binders accross the world. So having such an advantage had to be useful.
  20. Honor said that cultivation had better perception of the future than him. Cultivation likely perceives the future in a different way than odium. Renarin likely has both due to his unique nature, not as powerful but in the right place and time, deeply effective.
  21. Somehow Ulim escaped damnation or he came to this world after the last herald broke. If Venli was in contact for long time, it seems it predates the herald return. If the Everstorm could be summoned, so could be other spren, void or not. If the listerners need spren for differing forms, it makes sense they can summon specific spren at need, via their songs. we know at least one unmade was trapped in a gemstone, so there could be lesser void spren similarly contained. When the sons of honor were searching for lore and relic, they could have uncovered or released Ulim. i have a theory that the unmade could be channeled into an epic fabrial. My idea is that such device would be aimed at the fused. But the unmade are just so unknown, the effect is just guessed at. I am hoping that what control and sanity the fused have will be removed, making them all thunderclasts. It might either help them move on from this realm.
  22. It the magic system inherently flawed, or is there another reason why the human ruined their original home? If the Roshar surge binding is so similar, could aspects be carried over to make it safer.
  23. Being a herald allowed you to surge bind without a spren, so they never had shard plate either. I wonder what happens if the honor blades are wielded by knight radiants. The combination of power might have a unique effect.
  24. Is it at all possible for a gem heart to be perfectly formed, or at least form in such a way that it mimics a perfect crystal? While it would be increadibly rare, it could be possible. It would explain why that place was scourged. thunderclasts are fused that have lost control and sanity, that was the impression I received. So instead of taking a proper body, they are forced to instead take something akin to mobile siege weaponry, the fused can surge binding but thunderclasts just have their physical presence, they simply don't have the control or presence of mind left to use surge binding. i am imagining, what if somehow all the fused were broken enough they could only have thunderclast vessel. While dangerous, not as much a threat as the sentient fused.
  25. It seemed the Parshendi were terrified, so I could see them simply abandoning the stone or sending it back to the king with their answer. Both the sons of honor and the listerners believe the king had it, while only truthless knows he has it. if the unmade can be trapped into a gemstone, could they then be used in a kind of fabrial? I have this theory that the nine unmade in a single fabrial could be used as a weapon against the enemy. We know at least one of the unmade can affect both humans and the listerners, so why not all of them. Look at what happened when the high Prince unmade was captured, they were crippled. In my solution, such a weapon would be aimed at the fused only. It either breaks what little sanity and control they have left, or force them to move on. Since they are somehow linked or tied to the ever storm, that would be the best avenue of attack. By either placing the device at the void version of origin, or binding the ever storm to it. the three mindless unmade would mess with their sanity. The black fisher sounds like it is linked to sadness, grief, pain or depression, so another way to mess with their sanity. The high Prince unmade would fuel and link the fused together, allowing the unmade to be affected by the rest of the nine. The rest are tricky. The one that forces its host to grow crystals, it could force all the fused into becoming thunderclasts, the listerners naturally grow shells anyway and gem hearts, so this would be possible. The corrupting unmade could mess with the fused somehow. The midnight mother produces essence, which could spread to the fused. The last is unknown, the dust mother is just too unknown.
