  1. I don't find your answer satisfying, but I can't think of anything to say against it. A point in your favor is that Vivenna still has the Royal Locks when she was a drab. If it's an sDNA issue, it should be able to dilute like allomancers. You do point out that we have seen two specimens from different generations that looked identical in ability and function. However, one of them was also a full Returned, which negates that point.
  2. Do we know if the Royal locks dilute at all? I can see several possibilities: 1. They do not dilute. I'm not sure how this would work, since breath is separate from sDNA, if I understand correctly. 2. They dilute continuously, and will eventually disappear due to the fragment of divine breath being split so many times. 3. They do not dilute, because Endowment maintains them directly. 4 They dilute in the fashion of Scadrian sDNA, as seen by the time of the Wax and Wayne books, reaching a minimum threshold. I don't understand how this would work since, once again, breath and sDNA are not equivalent, if I understand correctly. 5. They do not dilute because the non-heir/king/queen's fragment of a divine breath is somehow transferred upon death to the current king/queen/heirs. 6 Some other possibility.

  4. @kmosiman, I assumed they were monitoring her level of fear to see if they could expel her for cowardice.

  6. Has anyone proposed the idea that the Krell are AI? I mean, they find their armor, but no bodies. That seems suspicious.
  7. Left ear because of the Italian Job, which was also about a heist
  8. Notice this is spren, not shardblades. They could very well could be living, unbonded spren. The WoB is broad in it's possible interpretation.
  9. You could make them choke on the soulstamp. Or make one out of a large heavy object...
  10. Where have you heard that alloying with a metalmind makes a feruchemist of that metal? As far as I know that only works with allomancy and mistings.

  12. My bad. That's what I get for going by memory alone.
  13. When Taravangian visits Vedenar in the second half of WoR, he muses on capturing Unmade, and concludes he doe not at that time have the resources to tackle either Moelach or Nergaoul (IIRC). So Taravangian at least has the knowledge of how to capture them. It's not too much of a stretch of the imagination that this was shared with Gavilar at some point.
  14. As a counter, Zahel himself admits he's not a good ardent, and Dalinar doesn't take him too seriously. So I still think it's quite possible. And besides, who says ardents can't have reasons to travel as long as it's within their owner's will/permission/duty to?
  15. I just started rereading Edgedancer and in the first chapter Liff says she once pulled a guy out of prison who then gave her free lodging in his den for five days and "a nice handkerchief too." Now we know that (Warbreaker spoiler): Might it be possible for Lift to have helped out Zahel in the past?
  16. I'm talking about in Shadows for Silence, not Sixth of the Dusk. I get the impression that they are relat to Shades, but I'm not sure.
  17. Has anyone asked Brandon what the Deep Ones are? They sound intriguing, but are mentioned in passing.
  18. Sixth of the Dusk:
  19. @Nathrangking I'm honored to me mentioned, man! You have some clever quips in the dialogue there. Like many have said, I don't have much experience with plays. I feel like if I knew more about your intended audience I would be able to give a more helpful critique. My experience is more in writing essays and research than in theater. But the intended audience really does change how you write. Feel free to message me. I can't promise I'll answer quickly though.
