Mack continued sobbing as Voidus turned away, slightly apologetic. In the back of his mind he hoped that he would be able to recover relatively quickly, but he was not optimistic.
-
"Storm it! Not again!" Mack yelped as he tried to run away but slipped on the icy floor. "No! You wont take me! Not again!" within seconds the Elantrian was reduced to a crying wreck, curled up in a ball because of his flashbacks. It was going to happen again. Nothing would prevent it. He would be taken over by a different person this time and he would never escape. "Please don't hurt me." He whimpered. "I didn't even fight against the DA."

Mac walked into the Alley, uncertain and confused. Its been ages since I've been taught by voidus. Can I even do this? What if I fa- No. No thinking about that. He quickly dragged the corpses into the incinerators and cleaned the floor. It would not be good to have a messy lab, not at all. As he cleaned the tables he remembered the last time he had been here. He had been so certain. He knew his path. His mission. Now where was he? Hopefully Voidmaking provided some guidance. But what if it didn't? Mac ignored the voice in his head. Voidmaking would at the very least give him access to the new power. That would be helpful. Finished with the lab, he sat down in a chair and waited for @Voidus to arrive.

People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
MacThorstenson replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
"If this was anyone else I'd assume this was a joke, and not one that I find amusing. But this. Fine, but you keep this contained under the highest security we can manage. If I ever see this uncontained then you won't be the only casualty." Mac grimaced as the darkness filled the hallway. "Understood. This wont even begin production until we are sure we need it. But we want to make sure we are prepared in case of the unfortunate eventuality that we need a super weapon." "As for your other request, that's understandable. I'd intended to wait until you'd made a full recovery before we started speaking of this, but it seems I underestimated your tenacity. Very well, no time like the present. Well I mean technically most points in time are relatively similar and there are instants before and after the present that are nigh-identical. Come on, we'll need somewhere a little more isolated than this. We can use Alley ╔═╦═╦╬══." "Ok, shall I meet you there?" @Voidus -
"Lehir. Thoroth Lehir." The craftsmen said. "I am not known for mincing words, so I will get straight to the point. The Master Craftsman Mack is trying to get a Traders Union together with all the Manufacturing companies and organizations in the Alleyverse. Individually our businesses and guilds are weak, but together we represent the economy of the alleyverse. But more important than power is the impact we could make on the lives of citizens. As you well know, the Alleycity was thermonuked about 18 years ago. Much of that damage has been left unfixed, and while concerned Citizens have started to help, he thinks that a combined force of all the manufacturing companies could help improve life dramatically for the Homeless of the Alleyverse. Each of the guilds can do something for the Alleycity. Trident manufacturing can provide all sorts or materials and production. Alleyzon can ship everything, Dusk and the Citadel can provide the natural resources. The Art haven we hope will be able to beautify the alleycity. Make it an enjoyable place to live. The Craftsmen can fund the entire procedure in addition to our magical invested projects." He paused for a breath. "Separate, we are a bunch of businesses. But together..." He grinned. "Together we might be make the impossible a reality."

Mack realized that Voidus was staring back. He wasn't sure what to do in this situation. He had forgotten what the The Official Guide on How to Survive Encounters with Voidus hand book said. Either he should keep on staring, not breaking eye contact like with a wolf; or he should break eye contact and run as quickly as possible. Hopefully Voidus wasn't like a drop bear, where eye contact was irrelevant and they would destroy you no matter what.
-
Being left handed is the best, because then I can always get the corner seat at the table.
-
Mack glanced carefully at Voidus. Last time he had been in the court with Voidus, Voidus had stabbed him with a spike resulting in Mac taking over. Mack was not eager to replicate the experience.
-
I am left handed, and would like to join! I think that its because unfortunately no one checks out the social groups section of the shard.
-
The Craftsman was led to a meeting room where he was sat down and given some snacks. Hopefully this meeting went over better than the last one. While the Boss was busy in Newcago, he was in charge of getting the companies together for the Traders Union. Hopefully these people were nice and cared about the people. Otherwise his proposal was likely to fall of deaf ears. He rubbed his leg, which still hurt from from the last time his proposal fell on deaf ears.
-
A craftsman approached the gates of Arts Haven, knocking on the front door. He was here to make a proposition. To hopefully get the manufacturers to join in a union. Hopefully someone would answer.

People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
MacThorstenson replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
"Mac. You're back on your feet already?" Mac grimaced, remembering his recovery. “It was tough, but I am here. Spirit web reconstruction is not a fun process, but I was able make it through. It helps that I have an associate who is able to see spirit webs.” “I've been a little... distracted recently." Voidus admitted. "But I can spare a moment." ”Thank you. This first part shouldn’t take long, the second part may take a bit longer.” He took a step forward to hand Voidus the folder. “The DADoCIR&D department wanted to create a possible weapon to help defeat Sudiov, usually we wouldn’t ask for permission, but you may dislike this experiment due to the substances involved.” He pointed to the first page of the folder, on which was a picture of drop bear, a plus sign, and a pineapple. Hopefully he wouldn’t be destroyed for his heresy. “The second thing is a bit more personal. About a year ago I snapped into Voidmaking. I still have no idea how to use that power. Can you teach me how to use it?” @Voidus -
Thank you.

Here is my final character Bio for Mac: I am sorry for the weak bio @Archer. I don't know how to fill in his history section. Would it be alright if I change around his surplus points a lot? Nothing would be above 100 points for investiture.

food provided #Tent- MY CHARACTER IS GETTING MARRIED
MacThorstenson replied to Ark1002's topic in The Alleyverse
Makc, Maq, Makck, and Mackc walked into the meadow then sat down in the back. They were quite the scene, with Mak hanging around Makc's neck, Maq blindly shuffling along, and Mackc dancing to some silent tune with an aviar carrying a petri dish on his shoulder. Makck was in the petri dish. They weren't sure why they brought him, but here they were. The Mc gang had arrived. -
People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
MacThorstenson replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
A year had passed since Voidus had been released. Since Sudiov started suppressing the powers of DA members. Since Mac had snapped, gaining access to the magic of the Void. Since Mac had failed. He had one job, and- No. Now was not the time for pity. He can pity himself afterwards. Right now he had a mission. Albeit a tiny one, but it was still a job. The Department of Counter Intelligence had been reformed after Sudiov got out. Their main focus right now was on Sudiov. And they may have a way to fight against him. Walking around a pile of gravel, Mac looked into the lab to see Maq hard at work, smashing rocks with spikes. Mac tipped his hat at him then continued walking. Storms, why did I do that? He's blind for Ruin's sake. He shifted a folder to his left arm as he opened the Door to one of Voidus' labs. No luck. He had been searching for him all morning. Unfortunately Voidus could be difficult to find. So difficult that a disappearance of 16 years wasn't out of the norm.It didn't excuse his slopyness, but- Again with the failure. Can't think about that right now. Where is he? I suppose that I might as well check with his secretary. Mac made his way out of his lab and knocked on Voidus' secretary's office. Mac never knew why he had one, but it was useful when you couldn't find Voidus. Ringing the bell, he tentatively asked, "Could you please let Voidus know that I would like to meet with him?" He walked over to a chair and sat down, then reached into his pocket and pulled out a cadmium spike that granted Allomatic cadmium. He slid it into the bind point, downed a vial of Cadmium, and then began burning it. While contacting the secretary would get you a meeting with Voidus, it could often take a while. -

Mac looked at Sudiov, a something that resisted Voidus for a brief moment! That means that it would need to be nearly as strong as him! At least as strong as Adonalsium. This was astounding, but what was it? His eyes widened. This, this was what Voidus was afraid of, this was what caused him to nearly kill me. He collapsed. It was his fault, he had endangered the Dark Alleys, his city, and his mentor. He had failed. He should have trembled at this. For him, failure meant the end. There would be no afterlife for him once the council realized he failed. But instead, Mac felt nothing. He had been beaten! There was nothing more he could do. He tried to reach for the One Power, or his metalminds, but nothing worked. Voidus had bested him. Even without trying, he knew that Alleymatics was no longer an option. There was nothing left, no investiture or even soul. It felt like there was a void, permeating his body. Mac slumped to the ground. There was nothing else. He tried to sit up and meet his death with dignity, but he didn't have the strength. I give up. He reached for his powers, but found nothing. He found a void in his soul. What’s this? He realized that he could touch the void, and move it, even push it out of him toward others. Whatever it was, it was something. Without a second thought, He pushed it at voidus, but instead of attacking him with it, he gave the power to him. If he was going to die it would be in defense of the Alleys and his mentor. With that thought he fell unconscious.

Mac quickly tapped an Aon Eho and threw it down to protect them from the explosion. Well, mostly him. The queen was definitely strong enough on her own.
-
Mac walked back and forth in his office, thinking about what he needed to do. Suddenly, he felt a little tug. Nothin large, almost unnoticeable, but the tug grew stronger, pulling on his spikes. Storms Mac ran over to the monitor, and saw that his fears had been confirmed. Voidus has been released. Without a second thought he began tearing out spikes while turning the rest into heavily invested metalminds, but it was no use. He slowly began sliding toward the wall, and suddenly he was pulled off his feet, and slammed into the wall. With a crash, the wall broke and Mac shot toward Voidus, slamming through alleys and healing himself as fast as he could. Before he knew it he was staring into the eyes of the void itsself. “Hello Mac." Voidus said. "Would you care to tell me how long you left me in there for? And why is half the city a giant crater?" Mac gulped, and sweat began to fall down his face. Right now he was closer to death than ever before. Reflexively he reached for the one power, by then he stopped himself. There was no way he would beat Voidus in a fight, he needed to try to talk his way out. “Uhh well I was dead for most of the time, but from what I can gather it’s been 17 years, and the seven day war was ended by the black crusade thermo nuking the city. I didn’t know you were gone until very recently when I came back to life, but I didn’t find out you were trapped until about an hour ago. There was a large backlog of mail from my leave of absence, and I only just got through it.” Mac wept inside. There was no way he was getting out of this. There was no hope, no chance of him surviving. Voidus was pretty forgiving, but he had screwed up. Maybe Voidus would have mercy? @Voidus

*cracks knuckles* "Challenge accepted." Though I wonder how metaphorical you can get with spiking? Do you think that we could eventually spike out causality?
-
So we are going through an era change soon, which means that there will be a short time skip. Because we have had a problem with OP characters, we are trying to fix that by making sure that all characters are within a certain power level. Mistborn is a tad too powerful. You would need some serious weaknesses to make him within the power level of the RP. Here is a link to the index where we judge characters powers:

Well there are quite a few new guilds. There is TUBA, the Ghostbloods, the DA, the Canton of Combat, the liebrary, the keepers, and the craftsmen. There are about a dozen smaller splinter organizations that only have a few members. TUBA and the Ghostbloods are to be watched out for. TUBA is full of well meaning people, but they are opposed to the DA. The Ghostbloods are spies and assassins, and I don't trust them. The Canton has a good leader, he is honorable, and is friendly with the space marines. The Liebrary is kind of weird if we are being honest. Right now they are trying to release Voidus from a containment field that he got himself stuck in 16 years ago. The Keepers are a village of Feruchemists. Finally, the Craftsmen are a guild that I run. I think that they are amazing, but I am a tad Biased. I would say that we strengthen our alliance with the DA. They are still the most powerful guild out there despite not using their power. The rest of the government wouldn't be able to stand against us with their assistance."
-
"Thats good. I am so sorry to bring work to your attention right upon your return, but there is one matter of importance that your Queenship must decide upon. The Alleycity is setting up a government with the guilds in the city. I assumed that because we are neither in the city, nor involved with their laws we would want to retain our sovereignty. The only other guild not involved with them is the Dark Alley. What are your thoughts?"
