Mid-Range Game 24: Baleful Eye
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Thanks Len, and Drake, for the enlightening discussion. It is obvious there are connections everywhere. Because of the depth of your claims and various evidence you have at hand, I am inclined to let you go, Drake. It seems we should rather hunt down the Serial Killer instead. Or get the Malcontents. But the game needs to be interesting, you say? You may make it interesting.- 779 replies

Long Game 38: In the beginning...
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to AliasSheep's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Qwertyuiop, the bane of lesser beings, sat on its sofa in the realm of the banished. There was no Comcast, or cable... or anything. The television wasn't actually real, it was just a pile of corpses that would sometimes ooze blood that looked like a sit-com. The banished realm was rather boring, in its opinion. Nothing to do except torture the souls of the doomed. It checked its watch, which wasn't a watch at all, but a skull on its wrist. It was 6:66pm. A perfect time to open an ethereal portal to an other dimension. Qwertyuiop had just finished arranging a few hapless beings in a tesseract and was preparing to drop the molotov inside when the phone rang. It wasn't a phone, but a carved femur hanging from the wall. Qwertyuiop growled and took it. It hissed into the knob. "WHO SEEKS ETERNAL DAMNATION?" There was static on the other side. Qwertyuiop scowled. The banished realm had terrible connection. Finally, something came through. "Yeah, I'd like a pineapple pizza, with bread sticks... throw in a Coke, alright?" "PINEAPPLE ON PIZZA!? MORTAL, YOUR SOUL IS FORFEIT! AND WE ONLY OFFER PEPSI!!!" Qwertyuiop bellowed. There was a pause, then an awful, bloodcurdling scream on the other side as the customer was sucked into a wormhole and whisked to eternal torment. Qwertyuiop threw the femur and the wall, which shattered. It returned to the ritual. With a snap, the molotov was lit, and it tossed it into the corpse tesseract. Time slowed as the burning bottle spun end over end into the heart of the four-dimensional box. It burst, sending flames into the void that appeared. Reality warped. The corpses collapsed, bending and twisting in impossible ways before being sucked into the rip in time and space. The gap widened, hungry to devour the world. Qwertyuiop grinned, all 72 razor teeth shining, and stepped into the waiting vortex. Dark and Light, Day and Night. Hot and Cold, Young and Old. Time has no place, there is no Space. Welcome to... Qwertyuiop buzzed in anticipation. ... the Cosmere. "Wait, what?"- 713 replies

Long Game 38: In the beginning...
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to AliasSheep's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay, what is the matter here? I told you that I just wanted to see my rule in action, which is perfectly reasonable. I mean, if the rule switch did happen, then the Agents' win-con would to make Order! It doesn't work! I was going to be nice and let that one vote slide, but you've gone too far now. Wait a second, Jond. I was only anxious to see my rule in action. Wouldn't you, if it were your rule? Besides, the rule switch would probably mess up the Agents' win con, making it counter intuitive to hope for it. You seem to be very much not an Agent, since you are trying to eliminate excess craziness, such as Saeanatha theranson threson the 45th and a half's name, and are lynching me because I seem like an Agent myself. I am not an Agent, by the way. I'm not going to retaliate-vote against you, instead, I'll join your orangeness on Searanatha theranson threson the 45th and a half.- 713 replies

So you're a Reckoner, Mark. Hmmm. You seem to be in the know quite a bit. Would it jeopardize your goal to assess the amount of danger an individual such as I is in at the moment?- 779 replies

Mid-Range Game 24: Baleful Eye
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So Asterion needed to kill the Penitent Murderer to achieve his win-con. And I think that the Informant had something to do with it? Technically only two people have won so far. There are two options why Eternum was Tachyon. ONE: He RP-ed as his role, because why not? TWO: Seonid named Eternum's Epic by request? Which means... STONER!!!!!!! Seriously, if there is a Stoner out there, PM me. I'll consider it my personal win-con to find you.- 779 replies

Concerning the Blood Mage, of it is not vetoed, if the rule switch happens, the Mage's win con changes to "keep all of the remaining players alive" and all kill abilities become protect abilities. Due to the complexity of the role, I don't want to mess with any of the other mechanics.- 713 replies

Mid-Range Game 24: Baleful Eye
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Lavalake exists? This points more and more to Stoner existing... But three kills? We know the lynch, but the other two seem to be from actions. If we can count the write-ups for anything, one was a gun and the other a knife. That might inform us, somehow, of how these people died. I wonder if there is an actual mechanic behind this Falchion and Balelight exchange.- 779 replies

I understand your consideration. You left out the Malcontents, which seem to be the opponents of the cabal, but their win-con might have to do with the citizens as well. Do you suggest we pick a faction and hit at it? Obviously that would garner a reaction from members of that faction.- 779 replies

Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I agree we need to lynch someone. In an absolutely selfish way, I don't want the small chance of being possibly killed. Thus we need to consider our options. With so many different factions, each with their own win cons, the lynch is no longer so straightforward. I'm sure that any target any of us sets forward would be benefiting one or the others, it just matters which one you want to be benefited.- 779 replies

Mid-Range Game 24: Baleful Eye
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The ground rumbled, the tremors of another explosion. Outblack toasted a piece of bread and crunched into it. He had wandered his realm of night for a while now, but had encountered few opponents. Perhaps everyone was afraid of the dark? He shuffled along the sidewalk, searching his mental map. He should be on Fifth Street at the moment, but the exact number of his steps eluded him. He finished his toast and wiped the crumbs on his coat. He hadn't had butter in ages, now that he thought about it. It would be the perfect complement to his bread. He would have to remind an orphan to fetch him some, because he only knew where the good bread was. He felt along the wall and found an alleyway, which he snuck into. After deciding it was a suitable temporary residence, he withdrew his darkness, bringing it into the alley and no further. He relaxed, though was slightly bored. He pulled out another slice to toast.- 779 replies

So I win? I guess? That was a great game! Very fun, with so many twists and turns. There were many tense moments for us noble and brave few that lurked in the Forest. @_Stick_, you were so close to having the full Elim team in you suspicions time and time again! It made us quite paranoid, but you died for us, so thank you. And what can I say about that last meeting? Really got intense there too. Forest Elims, you had done your job well, but somehow you lost? we won anyways. A good game to you all!
