Hello, and welcome to the Shard! Interestingly enough, My friend's contact picture on my phone is the same as your profile pic!

So no one has taken Coober Pedy, and from the destruction that is scourging the Overlands, my underground Eden is perfect! We can pretend nothing happened to civilization above, even though everyone knows. Just peace and harmony under Supreme Protector Covenant, and his lawkeepers. Covenant: Primary Power: Covenant can create laws over land he has control over. Once the law is established, he gains power every time anyone breaks the law and keeps the power until the adequate punishment has been given. The power increases with the severity of the crime. Granted power in order of severity: Extreme strength, Super reflexes, invulnerability, enhanced speed, flight, energy beams. Secondary Power: He can detect the precise location of any criminal within his control. Passive: Above average persuasive abilities. Note that the lawkeepers I mentioned are just special police. This is allowed, right?

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
You know that there are Sanderfans in this world when there are 100 pages in PART 2 of the "You know you're a Sanderfan when" thread. And that you are one of them. -
Oh, Australia? This might give me an opportunity to use an Epic I've had in the back of my head for a while now. I've been hesitant to do anything with Oregon since it's already so established and now it's in its final days before Destruction, but a new playing field will be nice. Is there anything on Coober Pedy?

Good game! Very interesting at every moment. I see we still got the Unaligned after it seemed so far from our grasps! Now, I would like to claim moral victory as being one of the few astute purveyors of peace in the game, despite my death. -
Or perhaps Jonathan had something to do with the sword's placement, giving the possibility of something like this happening.

Having a Bad Day?: Get 'yer Hugs here!!
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Curious Anamaximder's topic in General Discussion
More hugs. Lots more hugs. Dr. HH: Here is your prescription. Take three hugs before every meal and then two more an hour afterwards. Don't forget to take a hug before bed as well. That canister should last you for a week. Come back when it runs out. -

Order fields are the most overpowered thing. I don't care if I can't control what I'm Ordering, Order it all and watch it die and sink into a state of monotony. I love it. -
Well, from what we know of TLR with the power of the Well, anyone would die. TLR is already OP. However, we do not know the full extent of Hoid's abilities. I could give Hoid the benefit of the doubt and hand him this victory (I'm tempted to), but I think TLR would beat him. As for the tag battle, Jasnah, with Soulcasting, could defeat Kelsier (if not directly, by soulcasting the environment around him and rendering his coins useless). Kaladin could be defeated similarly, and Vin could probably take him by herself. I'd have to hand it to the ladies for this one. Spook wins. I recall several discussions that declared a mistborn could defeat a shardbearer (plate and blade), by use of coins/atium. Adolin is a great duelist, and does have a shardblade, but it's a dead blade.

Okay. Dimensional Manipulation: control over dimensions. The constraints of reality have no control over you. Time is a dimension: it is a river you can cross. Space is a dimension: Anywhere, instantly. That circle is now a sphere. That cube is now a square. You are too powerful for the universe, so wait until the Quantum Police come after you.

The one that I always pick when asked this question is Dimensional Manipulation.

Raaman fingered the wound in his side. He winced. It might be time to change the bandages, he thought. He leaned against the tent pole and sighed. He wasn't as young as he used to be. Last night had been hectic... ---- The sun slipped below the horizon, the sky turning orange, pink, violet, then black. Darkness had settled in like normal night. Then the shouts came, sounding from the Parshendi side. Immediately he ran to his post, see his fellow guards with him. It must have been those antagonizers! He growled. The audacity to ruin a meeting like this! Parshendi in orange carapace charged out of the night towards them, humming angry sounds. Raaman braced himself, then suddenly Highprince Dalinar was there. "Halt! We are investigating the cause of these attacks! Please, no further conflict," he said. The Parshendi slowed, then stopped, still clearly ready for a fight. Dalinar glanced around at the guards assembled. "You, go check on the Artifabrians and their progress. Tell me if they have any clue on who is behind these attacks." Raaman nodded and ran towards the tent. It was dark, quite dark. Where were the light fabrials? He approached the tent. Suddenly there was a flurry of movement and he spun around, blade out. There was the clash of swords meeting as Raaman tried to dispatch his shrouded assailant. He lunged, and his opponent pierced his side. He moaned in pain. The sound of footsteps came nearer, and the enemy fled. Two guards appeared, and pulled Raaman to the medical tent. He fainted from loss of blood. ---- "Raaman!" He looked up. There was a circle of people around him, Alethi and Parshendi. He frowned. What is the commotion? "Have you been behind the sabotaging of the peace accord?" Raaman chuckled. Of course not! Maybe he distrusted Parshendi, but he was loyal to Highprince Dalinar and his cause. "No. Who put that idea in your heads?" "We are the ones asking questions. Have you been contacting members of the delegation behind the scenes?" "There was no rule against it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who did it." "Well, Raaman, it seems your contacts have ratted you out. Proper of them to report suspicious activity. We would have expected better of you." "I don't think you understand. I haven't been doing anything suspicious. I am doing better. This is a false claim!" "Well, Guard Raaman, it's your word against theirs, and there are many of their words. Good day to you, Raaman. You will be accompanied to the brig." He was clubbed on the back of the head, and blackness engulfed him. -

Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Um, okay. Could I say that I am not a Ghostblood? Yes, I know I probably set off red flags by wanting to get all of the information I could out of the contacts, etc. That was my fault. And I suppose that I am of no further use, since the contacts have started to double contact each other, making a single person less important (such as myself). So my particular usefulness is spent. You could lynch me, yes, and learn that I am indeed not a Ghostblood, and I haven't been spreading lies around the PM chain, which would help in a way. Or you could not lynch me and I continue to try to work with everyone to achieve an unaligned victory, as I intend to. And my reputation doesn't count. -
@Extesian! You're on my list of smart theory people, by the way.

Um, how does a Parshendi become a Shardbearer? Do they have to kill an existing Shardbearer? -
Just wondering, what happens when Portland is destroyed?

Raaman shifted his feet, the metal plates of his armor clinking together. He stood outside Highprince Dalinar's tent, standing guard. There was certainly a need for protection, even more so than before. They were trapped on this Almighty-forsaken rock, with no bridges to leave. The Parshendi could jump out anytime they pleased, but they were stuck. He clenched his fist. He knew there was something wrong about this, and he was right. Someone didn't want peace. After the bridges were sabotaged, the whole delegation was thrown into chaos. He had to break up a scuffle between a few enraged Alethi and one of the Parshendi. Raaman scowled. This whole meeting was going to ashes. A messenger approached the tent. Raaman stopped him. "What's your business here?" He asked. The messenger fumbled in a satchel before pulling out a roll of parchment. "Messenge to Highprince Dalinar from the 'Parshendi Delegation'. To be delivered immediately," the messenger stated. Raaman glared at the messenger, staring into his eyes, searching for a shred of deceitful intent. Beads of sweat appeared on the messenger's brow. Finally, Raaman broke eye contact and stepped aside. "You may deliver your message," he said. The messenger nodded, obviously relieved, and disappeared inside the tent. Raaman sighed. Ridiculous. -

So Aster claims to have scanned Elenion, and declares him a Voidbringer. However, besides his claim, he has no one to support it. The problem here was timing, because Drake had just only switched to Scholarform, and could not scan Len himself to have a second verification. It comes down to how much we trust Aster and how much we want to listen to Len. Yet again, it seems like it is Parshendi v. Alethi in the lynch. Has anyone contacted Asterion D1 and learned of his plan who can tell us? The more information, the better.
