  1. I'm late to the party, but welcome to the Shard! Ha, more Lopen Clan? The Lopen Dynasty will rule SE... 11 children total? Wow... will they all play SE?
  2. Okay. *whispers into mic* You can go now...
  3. Really? I would like a time, place, complete criminal investigation... moving SWAT teams in now.
  4. Oh. Sorry. I went to the zoo yesterday with my family, and then tried to simultaneously participate to an extent in the LG, and it scattered my brains. In more serious matters, I do need to vote. Alv, I think you are Village because of the Generosity pass, and Seonid as well for the same reason. I have good reason to suspect that Crimsn-Wolf is Village, Brightness is getting a Village vibe right now, Jon somewhat neutral. Bridge Boy is also neutral, but leaning gut-Elim. Ecth... I don't know. Ecth. I don't know where you stand, your posts have been rather vague, lots of RP. I would very much like it if you did some explaining. Don't take this as a malevolent accusation, rather a friend expressing concern that you are an evil being content with destroying the world. @Ecthelion III
  5. I thought it was Apocalypse Guard.
  6. Marv rubbed the stone in his pocket. He wondered offhandedly if he would ever rub it enough to turn it to dust. Right at morning, Chief Gern had called all of the guard to attention and moved them all to Conrad Manor. It was a much nicer setting than the Keep, set on a hill and featuring well-tended gardens, but there were too many shadows cast by old family busts and tall drapes to be a cozy retreat. An air of uncertainty and paranoia circulated through its corridors. Marv shuddered despite himself, and moved his hand to the sword on his waist. Inside a large polearm would be no good, so the guard had been outfitted with tidy blades. Marv had no skill with a sword, but had seen enough of the more experienced guards train to have a semblance of an idea. The change of scenery didn't help that Booken had been detained. It was a shock, really. Marv had no premonition that any of the guard had ulterior motives or shady intents, so to think that one of their own could have been punished was a bit unsettling. However, he had caught a bit of gossip, and not everyone thinks Booken was up to no good. Perhaps he was falsely accused... It almost seems polarized: Orlok or PK. Because of Orlok's strong argument, I'm tempted to place a vote on PK, but Orlok could be a dastardly Elim, trying to get in good with us. We really do need good information to start with, though.
  7. Ironpies was yet again alone. But he didn't care. Solitude was best for the Master to contact him with the next task in his master plan. The cookies had failed. No one had noticed him, or had been too afraid to talk to him. Perhaps the spikes were too intimidating.
  8. Uh guys... it's Nightblood. Though it makes me wonder with Syl. Would they have a conversation, her and Nightblood? An epic rap battle while Szeth and Kaladin fought? Yes. This is what the poll is really about: who would win in a rap battle, Syl or Nightblood?
  9. Unicorns, make sure that you set up PMs. And please, plan. Well done, Elims, on targeting discussion makers (Rand). It's interesting that you chose to do that so soon-- it makes sense, but starts to lessen the game. I wonder who would do that... @Seonid how active will you be if you are GMing the LG?
  10. How metaphorically rich. Marv had no idea that he was accepted into a secret guild to unspike those who are Spiked, but he was fine anyways.
  11. Marv had no talent in baking, but he was supposed to making cookies? He had thrown some ingredients into a pot, set it over a campfire, and returned to his post. He sniffed. What was that smell... burning? His eyes bulged. The cookies! He rushed over to the pot, which was belching flames. The original fire had waned and was now only a few embers, but the pot was blazing. Marv tossed the pot to the ground and stomped out the flames. What that was left were little crunchy black chunks of not-cookies. How unfortunate.
  12. Welcome to the Shard! Good to have you here. Have an upvote. Don't eat the cookies.
  13. Emphasis my own. Emphasis my own. Why did he feel the need to repeat it again, more forcibly? "I'm not stressed!" He felt the need to place an exclamation point. "In fact, I'm feeling great." He is trying to change the topic. This could be completely harmless, yes, but it gives me a bad gut reading on him now that I've analyzed it like this.
  14. Okay, sorry Flash, but the more you're talking the more it feels off to me. It seems like you've been backed into a corner and you're trying to get out in any way possible.
  15. Marv had night watch. It seemed like he always had night watch. As he gazed out at the swirling mists, he rubbed the stone in his pocket. He hadn't spoken much to the other guards, but they were strange enough to warrant a little distance. Marv leaned on the poleaxe. He was just here for the money, a good job. It's the least a man can do to earn a living. He sighed and gazed at the stars. Four more hours of this...
  16. Apologies for my recent inactivity, I spent the whole day yesterday spending time with my family, and I didn't have much time to post anything. I'm not sure about the accusations going around so far. Jon was accused by PK, and Jon accused Mint. I'm not sure about Jon, but I don't think I want to lynch him until I get a better read on him. (because right now, I hardly have a read on anyone). It concerns me that Mint is a unicorn, and if he is Village, then it will be two Village Unicorns dead. With so few votes, every vote counts, but I'm not sure who to vote on. I'll be back with that. I think all the Unicorns to make sure that they make PMs. Communication is key, especially with Element Holders.
  17. Ooh. You know, I'm conflicted. I'm pretty sure its TLR, not tLotR
  18. Would you do cover art for my novel?
  19. Did you take inspiration from the Words of Radiance cover for the highstorm? I see some similarities there. It's a great painting!
  20. Why was he here? Because Master demanded it. Why, exactly had the Master demanded that he come to such a gathering of lesser beings? To enlarge the ranks of Ruin. And how would he do it? By the gift of... cookies. Ironpies shook his head for the thousandth time since he had wandered into the corner of the "party". The laughter, joy, happiness of it all nauseated him, but he had a mission. He held a cookie, baked with blood love, in his hoof. Embedded in it was a Hemalurgic spike Hersey's Kiss. He needed a victim lucky pony to give this pastry. Just who?

Are you sure you're not a lightweaver?
  22. The ponies seemed to be distraught. Yes, shape-shifting beings with evil intents have infiltrated their populace and have injured their ruler, but it is all just the work of entropy, the embodiment of his Master. Ironpies watched with a cold steely stare, saying nothing. He had nothing to say. He just wondered what it was like to be one of those rather foolish ponies. What went on in their minds? His had been offered to Ruin, so he knew none of those things. In all honesty, he thought this all ridiculous. If there were rogue kandra about, with enough emotional Allomancy he could sway them from their cause. Unfortunately, as he had stated earlier, there was no easy supply of metal to burn. He only had cookies. And he would use them... somehow.
  23. Everypony that has been voted on is an Earth Pony. This gets us absolutely nowhere. Jon, you accused me of RP and not contributing to discussion. Truthfully, I did not spend very much time looking over the rules and all of the strategizing that happened in the pre-game thread, so I did not have much to contribute. I agree with the statements that have been made about the Elements of Harmony and their uses, and greatly encourage Unicorns to set up PMs.
