  1. Neither was I, or was I? Was I the doing of the wasing of living?
  2. I would, but I fear that Jaism would dissolve if I showed any devotion. I've heard that uselessness is contagious.
  3. They expected Siri to be smart enough to try to twist things around and try to break the system, so they left them to it. As they suspected, Siri got around to *ahem* that, but they didn't expect Lightsong to restore Susebron's tongue. I really don't know what exactly what they were thinking, but hey, this is a pretty good guess.
  4. Sees a delicious slice of pizza surprisingly out of place in this world, but sees the floor that is perfectly smooth, but will inevitably cause me to trip, so stays in the corner.
  5. Hey, I though Odium was banned from Pun World! It's his Pun-ishment.
  6. How about a spike is a metal stick? Because I like those metal sticks. And if I join the Sticks Radiant, do I get a stickspren and a stickblade?
  7. Because this is so random and has barely any evidence, it is still plausible. However, I'd be a bit annoyed if everything I had read, dreamed about, pondered over, etc, technically didn't exist because it had been erased by Hoid messing with time.
  8. The accomplishments of coding.
  9. I am a Protagonist. Can't remember the letter combination I got though.
  10. Everyone get out, because THE LOPEN IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, Lopen is my favorite character, and watch out, because he's GOT SOME SERIOUS GLOWING TO DO!!!!!!!! And chowta.
  11. How much focus/time/effort does this require? And my name is Joe, and I'm Useless. That guy that sits on the corner next to the dung pile and does absolutely nothing.
  12. Don't blame me if the cookies taste Odd-ium. I just came up with that one
  13. Since you've read the Stormlight Archive, you know about Shadesmar and the Cognitive Realm. Hoid can jump worlds by going through Shadesmar, because the vast space between planets is skipped. He then can reach the Physical Realm through perpendicularities. That's pretty much what I can tell you without getting too in depth and into spoilers.
  14. Ah. Well, perhaps I should simply stick to the Physical Realm for the time being.
  15. Disclaimer: Everything that will soon follow might be completely wrong, but is still interesting. Do not base the foundation of everything you know upon what follows. This theory/speculation is based off of how Hemalurgy and shardblades affect the Spiritual Realm. Hemalurgy tinkers with sDNA, ripping out pieces and inserting them on other beings. Shardblades cut in the Spiritual Realm as well. So what if you could handle hemalurgic spikes and shardblades like a surgeon's tools? During the Shattering, we know that Adonalsium was broken into 16 shards. Each shard was a fragment of the original being. I am trying to draw a line connecting the Shards and the fragments of sDNA ripped out by Hemalurgy. Steel Inquisitors have additional sDNA added to them by the spikes, but each piece is too insignificant to affect the whole of the Inquisitor, unlike Shards, which are so powerful that they consume the Vessel. So, realizing this similarity, one could suppose that Hemalurgy acts somewhat like the Shattering. But Hemalurgy is directly tied to the Physical Realm as well, because the only thing guiding what portion of the Spiritweb is affected is the location on the victim's body where the spike is placed. Now, I bring in the concept of shardblades. Shardblades cut through the Spiritual Realm, which is why they kill living things they slice. As a blade, a shardblade is naturally more precise than a hammer or other crude instrument. Thus, when attempting to remove a specific piece of sDNA, one would use a shardblade, right? It is more precise and it does the job. However, the severed piece cannot be captured without a spike ready. The follow-up must be instant, not to lose the fragment. Of course, this process would be much easier if done in another realm. Through this process of slicing and spiking, sections of sDNA could be removed without fear of imprecision. Then, these pieces could be applied elsewhere using Hemalurgy. Please note any flaws or missing material.
  16. Perhaps add Hoid's face in the foreground and make it a selfie.
  17. How about the sky is a hoax? The entire kingdom is overshadowed by a large object that blocks out sunlight. Having a fake sky could lead to some interesting plot aspects latter, if you want to. And if flora is a problem, remember chemosynthesis. Life can supported without sunlight. I hope you find something that works out.
  18. I love Scadrial. The metallic arts are some of my favorite Investitures. However, I am thoroughly enjoying and fervently anticipating the Stormlight Archive. Oathbringer in just ten more months!
  19. Hey, so I'm new. A few things on the agenda (imagine a strip of paper long enough to write down every digit of pi), so let's start out with the basics. 1. How do I get fancy rank things? For example, I am a spren. 2. How do I get one of those quote things that appear at the bottom of my posts? 3. Hello world. With that out of the way, I would like to say that I have read all of Brandon's Cosmere literature available EXCEPT for White Sand. (I got Arcanum Unbounded for Christmas, so that has checked off a lot of Cosmere goodies) Don't be afraid to blast me with theories or spoilers, because I WILL EAT THEM FOR BREAKFAST. I love 'em with OJ and toast.
  20. Was this really a good idea to come here this late at night? A normal person might have asked himself this question when finding himself in the middle of a foggy graveyard minutes from midnight, but Severend isn't a normal person. He stood among the weathered headstones and wilting flowers gazing at one specific grave. Marked by a towering obelisk, the grave stood in the exact center of the graveyard. Severend knew this, because he decided to be responsible and spy on this location via Google maps for unmentioned hours previously. He clenched his fists and waited for the moment. Above, the clouds parted and a lance of moonlight beamed down upon the obelisk, striking its peak. Severend took a deep breath. In the distance, the church bell rang. And rang. And rang, rang, rang, rang, rang, rang, rang, rang, rang... Rang. The once shadowed symbols etched on the obelisk's dark surface exploded with bright white light, illuminating the graveyard with a fierce glow. Severend was thrown back as the obelisk burst out a ring of force and rose slowly into the air. He watched in awe as the earth opened up and from the pit where the obelisk once stood rose a form, a misty dark figure. Severend hastily got to his feet and rushed over to the floating figure. He pulled it from the pillar of light in which it hang and nearly collapsed under its weight. With its treasure gone, the light from the obelisk began to fade and it drifted back into its hole. Severend looked down at the figure that he held. It was like gazing a silhouette. He reached into his back pocket and withdrew a small vial. The elixir of life. Funny, how humans think it will make them immortal. How foolish. He poured the vial's contents onto the vague form. The drops melted into its skin, and slowly the silhouette began to develop details and texture. No, the elixir of life is meant for the dead. Severend knelt on the cold grass for who knows how long, cradling the body of one who would soon rise to life. Then, shortly after the church bell had rung three times, Severend heard a cough. He was flung from his trance. He turned the body he held over and looked into its face. A human face, with black hair, green eyes, that same scar on his left cheek, stared back at him. "Sevvy?" He asked weakly. Severend embraced him tightly, tears coming unbridled to his eyes. After all this time... "I'm here, Abe. Big brother's here." -------------------------------------------------------------- Ben stared at his pudding. He was sure it had moved.
