Mid-Range Game 24: Baleful Eye
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Wait. @Seonid, can Stoner be a role? You get an extra action and attacks hit two people? Yet the "influence" causes a chance of failure in some fashion.- 779 replies

What we should really be worried about is how the new alignment will affect the game. It is not given, but with that many people gone, its highly likely that someone will be converted to the weird alignment.

Mid-Range Game 24: Baleful Eye
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
A great Epic would be Stoner, who has the ability to "hit two birds with one stone". This allows him to multitask amazingly, and have his shots always ricochet and hit another person. He is also perpetually high.- 779 replies

Could they have targeted the woods, say, "five people will be sent to the nightmare realm", triggering the Zeta ability as a result of that? We can be sure that one of the people sent is the Zeta, though.
-
But if MEB was behind this, it certainly made things less boring. But why? What is the benefit of that? Could MEB have influenced the disproportionate amount of Woodslanders sent to the nightmare realm?

Stick says that she'll have internet while she's traveling, so she'll be able to contribute still. We can trust Stick isn't an Elim, due to the unlikelihood that both Doc and Flash(who we know is village) both chose her as protector. Eternum is a good choice, however. I'll have to think over that. Concerning the lynch, I'm not sure what road we should take. If we don't lynch anyone, that leaves an opportunity for the elims to make a kill. However, lynching someone from the other thread risks invoking aggression from them. I recall someone proposing that to prevent hostilities, members only vote against members of their own thread. There are problems with that, sure, but it is a good compromise at the moment. Stable diplomacy is a good thing. At the moment, an inactive lynch might be a good thing to consider if no major candidate is brought forward.

Oh, secret roles! My poor forest mind did not think there would be so many... or there is an illusion of many. If there is a wandering eye, it would probably be neutral, impossible to kill (or have several lives), and have a specific win condition relating to either another role or to a specific circumstance. Depending on what that role is, I would be led to believe it is in the court, because of a wide variety of interesting roles, the wandering eye isn't much of a threat. this is all hypothetical, by the way.

Mr Koru, Mr Marv here. I will inform you that I did not have a PM with the Inspector Woodsman. I'm not sure how I would be able... don't I have to be an air elemental or something? @Doc12- 338 replies

@Straw, if I take my vote off you, will you take your vote off me? It was really just a random vote because of non-preferential choices. Straw.- 338 replies

Okay. So I don't see particular benefits to have Doc or Flash as medium, but Doc provides more opportunities (or at least provided more benefits) than Flash does, and Flash isn't exactly on my village-read list. Of course, my village-read list is very small, Majestic being the only one on it. Why, you may ask? This is his first game, he hasn't done anything that screams elim, and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt anyways. As for the lynch, I don't think I'll side with Doc or PK, leaving Straw or Araris as the other options. Straw hasn't been doing much. I suppose I'll vote that. It's better than having a split lynch. However, it would be even better to see @Straw and @Araris Valerian contributing more!- 338 replies

I think Jeanne is ghost-form, just recently, so technically there could be a Jeanne encounter. Or a Jeanne secret role? Who knows? Stick, I'm not sure about Araris. That sounds like his typical behavior, and not very alignment indicative. It is always more likely to kill a villager than an elim on D1 lynch, but it almost always gives us information that helps the game move on. As for other lynch candidates, we could kill the medium that isn't chosen. That's a terribly horrible way to decide who to lynch, because it would either be Flash or Doc. Both of them are sufficiently suspicious simply by running for medium. Wait... @A Joe in the Bush, does an elim's alignment change when becoming medium, and does a villager's alignment change? That would either clear or suspicionize our medium candidates.- 338 replies

I just looked more at the Zeta role. That is scary. But my natural curiosity comes out at times like this and wonders: What are the other alignments? Are these evil void-beings akin to the faceless ones in the other realm (refer to comic)? I know it is a PAFO, but then we need these things to happen. Can Gillitie players be affected, or do the players have to be in the same thread as the Zeta?- 338 replies

So I've been thinking, which is good, because not-thinking is not as good, about Eternum. So he maybe-so-is Ysengrin, and if so, that's a pretty big role. However, a day one roleclaim? However unintentional it sounded? The sketch-o-meter is beeping. Is it possible for Ysengrin to be an elim? I don't remember anything that says otherwise. And if there is the possibility of Ysengrin!Elim, then could we consider Eternum being evil? EDIT: I would like to revise that statement, since I hadn't read the other thread. Drake supposes that Ysengrin will be Gillitie (which is village to us), and that sounds logical. So consider both sides of this, I do not claim responsibility for you actions.- 338 replies

That would be hilarious! And I can totally see Euphoria (Australian) being peeved about another Epic with the same name. I like this possibility. However, a separate name (if it's good enough), would be a better option.
