Well, those hairpins haven't been confirmed to be hemalurgic spikes at all. It's speculated by us sharders that they're spikes (and probably are, in my opinion), but for all we know, they could just be really special hairpins. Also, none of the objects except the Yolish branch have been confirmed, I think. Which is kind of ironic, considering we don't even have a book from Yolen yet. At least, not a canon book.

I do agree that what Adolin did to Sadeas was something that Sadeas deserved, and I was so rooting for Adolin to actually kill him as I was reading that scene. But I definitely don't think this was a fight at all. This was definitely cold-blooded murder (maybe not pre-meditated, but still). I may have to reread the scene at some point, but I don't remember Sadeas physically threatening Adolin's life at all. If he had, then it would've been self defense on Adolin's part and him killing Adolin would definitely be justified. What Adolin did, by reacting and brutally murdering Sadeas does not make it right, no matter how much Sadeas threatened him. If we all got to kill people simply because we disliked them or they did something we didn't like, then the world would fall apart and we'd end up just stooping to people like Sadeas's level. Also, in the future, if you want to add something, try editing your previous post and don't double post (though I can understand why you did it with this one, as it doesn't let you edit in quotes, I don't think). EDIT: I didn't even realize this went onto another page, whoops.

Nathaniel, who preferred to go by Nathan, glanced up when the speakers went off. That whole alien thing had never seemed real to him, even when they realized aliens were actually real and went to go live in space and stuff. Of course, after he'd gained tons of money and managed to lose most of it, Nathan had begun to realize the impossible might actually be possible. So he'd spent the last of it to study to become a scientist, in hopes of actually making more money. Now, that might not work out, especially if these aliens killed all the humans on the platform. That'd be quite bad for money-making if he was dead. He was a naturally intelligent fellow, but he was a scientist, not a detective. Finding these aliens was gonna be quite difficult for him. Of course, his new philosophy of never excepting something is impossible has seemed to hold true thus far.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Aslydin has been confirmed to be the nurse from Warbreaker. There's a WoB about it somehwere.

Well, you got the last part half right. The Honorblades are definitely not spren, but they were not made to copy spren; the spren copied the Honorblades.

Hey, welcome to the Shard! Have an upvote and a cookie! It's spiked delicious! DISCLAIMER: Side effects include, but are not limited to, gaining supernatural powers, having the sudden urge to kill everyone, and completely losing control over your mind and body. The Dark Alley claims no liability for any damage done to/by the consumer of this cookie Anyway, welcome to the site! I'm glad you enjoyed Stormlight. What was spoiled for you about the Mistborn series? (Also, who did that, because I want to go find them and Ruin their day)

I'm gonna go ahead and upvote @Pagerunner as well. He's definitely a legend when it comes to theorizing, in my book.

Hey, I made a reverse version of this awhile ago, but I decided I'd do an actual version now. Go ahead, ask me stuff.

This isn't my favorite corps (that title goes to the Bluecoats) but this show's music is absolutely fantabulous! Trust me, fantabulous is definitely a real word.

If you were a twinborn, what would you like to be?
StrikerEZ replied to Lord Bookwyrm's topic in Mistborn
As much as storing hearing would help, it could also get you killed. If it's harder for you to hear things, then you may not hear someone sneaking up behind you. Of course, you could counteract this by using your other senses, like touch, and feeling the vibrations in the air if you tapped enough, I bet. Tin/Iron woule be interesting, as you could store weight to make yourself lighter on your feet, which would let you maneuver yourself into the perfect positions to spy on people more easily. Or you could tap weight when in a fight and let your increased senses help you out, and the extra weight would pack an extra punch.- 155 replies

If I could Awaken things, first I'd gain tons and ton as of Breath. Probably enough to get up to the Tenth Heightening, though if I'm being realistic, probably only to the Fifth or Sixth. I'd love to Awaken tons of little toy minions to do my bidding or maybe Awaken my clothing so it can protect me and fight for me and stuff. Also, double posting is usually frowned upon on forums. In the future, I'd recommend that you just edit posts if you feel you need to add anything else. Also, about the Dark Alley™ cookie thing, that's a joke about how we always greet newcomers to the forums with a hemalurgic cookie. Have you read the first Mistborn trilogy?

If you were a twinborn, what would you like to be?

Iron/Steel has some interesting possibilities. If you Pulled on a piece of metal, then tapped your steelmind, would you get Pulled even faster? Even if that's not quite how it works, you could speed around and Pull on metal to change your direction while speeding around. You could also speed around and Pull guns and other weapons away from people. It doesn't matter if you actually catch the weapons, you just can speed back around while they try to grab their gun or whatever and stab them. Bendalloy/Steel would just be insane. Just speed over somewhere, pop up a bubble, speed around inside the bubble, and take out everyone inside the bubble. Drop the bubble, then rinse and repeat the process. You'd have to be careful, as you could potentially speed out of the bubble (does that make the bubble go away, or can you keep a bubble active, even when you're not in it? If so, that'd be a cool thing to do with Cadmium/Steel). And it would require TONS of stored up speed, which is a downsides. That's only a big problem when you're fighting all the time. Tin/Duralumin could be interesting, depending on how Connection works. If it works just like the medallions, you could use it to connect yourself to a different region/country and be like an international spy with the tin and stuff. Alternately, Copper/Duralumin could be useful too, as you could store memories of everything that you learn from the spying.- 155 replies

Or. I choose or. Seriously though, I wouldn't want either. I guess if I had to choose, I'd choose Koloss. Not as messy as Inquisitor. Would you rather have an Aviar that shows you your wildest dreams or an Aviar that lets you see the dreams of others?

I'm not too great at this whole theorizing and questioning stuff, though I do want to ask some cool questions if Brandon comes to the DFW area anytime soon. So, I'm gonna post a few question ideas, and can someone help me out if they think they might get RAFO'd? Could you perhaps describe the Allomantic effects of an atium alloy? Preferably atium-steel or atium-iron, though any one of them would be cool. If you built an object in the shape of a human made out of metal, kind of like a golem, could you Awaken it? Possibly even Awaken it to a level of sentience/sapience like Nightblood?
