  1. Wow, this is amazing.
  2. Straw does have a point, care to explain why you're trusting Joe's reads, @Darkness_? If he hasn't responded by lunch time (about 5-ish hours from now), I'll try to remember to come back on and poke vote him. I do think Walin would be a good target, otherwise. I agree with Manukos and Lemon as to why he seems suspicious. I'm too lazy to go into major detail and analysis, plus I have to leave for school soon.
  3. Wait...how did I not know that you two were working on this? Also, this helps the theory that you two are the same person, since you're both working on Arcanum...
  4. I'm gonna be very inactive the next few days because we have a band contest tomorrow, midterms are Thursday and Friday, we have a game Friday, and then there's another contest on Saturday. Even if I get on at all, don't expect much from me.
  5. Okay, I just want to say that my vote on Jondesu was made because I had no suspicions of my own, Joe had seemed village-y enough in PMs (though, I do always fall for him as a wolf in Wolfia ), and because I knew I probably wasn't getting on again before the end of the cycle. Also, I'm gonna be very inactive the next few days because we have a band contest tomorrow, midterms are Thursday and Friday, we have a game Friday, and then there's another contest on Saturday. 6. I guess I may as well vote for Jondesu as well since I forgot to PM very many people last night anyway, so I don't have any reads on anyone. Also, I'd like to mention that I knew my role when I was PMing Joe, I just forgot what it did, and I didn't learn until after I'd PM'd Joe a couple times because I got distracted with catching up on the LG and the signup posts I had missed in this game.
  7. Aww, poor BR, all she wanted was the gun (Don't worry if you don't get the joke lol) I honestly don't know what to say right now, I just decided I might as well post since I was on and why not? I'm kind of tired though, so no analysis of roles or anything yet. And I'm too tired to RP.
  8. Honestly, I haven't really been paying to attention to this game very much, and I only really PM'd at the start of the game, so I don't really have any reads on anyone. I'm so out of it with this game, I can barely remember who I last voted on. It was Jondesu, right? I feel like Rae is genuinely trying something new by attempting to lead and promote discussion, which I think is NAI. She's just been the only one who has taken the most initiative (from what I remember) in starting discussion even when it seems like no one's even bothering with this game (not dissing anyone, because I've definitely been doing that). I'm feeling like she's village, which is a gut read and isn't based on the fact she's starting discussion. As for everyone else, I'm not so sure. I don't even know where to start for suspicions.
  9. I've been inactive but lurking because of band and school taking up all my time. I don't really have very much time to get on except just to lurk a bit. For some reason, Jondesu just feels off to me as I've been lurking, though that's mainly gut. I'm not really gonna try too hard this game, so don't expect much reasoning from me. I will say I'm voting on Jon because I do think it was a little suspicious the way he targeted wilson earlier. That's about all I have to go on, but I don't think anyone else's is really any more likely.
  10. I voted over, but that's only because I use it more often. I'd use either, I'm just used to over.
  11. I'm signing up as Ardenal, a former soldier who was put into the bridge crews for kililing several of his fellow soldiers by accidentally cutting one of the bridges with a Shardblade he had been loaned.
  12. Hey, sorry I've been out of the game for awhile, band has been crazy lately. It's like 1 in the morning right no,w so I'm gonna sleep and I'll probably get on later.
  13. @DroughtBringer Rae already summed it up nicely, but Aman also told me there was irl stuff coming up he wanted to be out of the game for. (I hope you don't mind me telling them that @Amanuensis). Also, @Wyrmhero Are we told what allomantic abilities players had when they died?
  14. As interesting as it would be for Odium to leave Roshar, I believe the only way that would happen would be once he's completely annihilated it. I wouldn't be too surprised if Roshar was completely destroyed by book 5, but I doubt it. Also, I doubt that Taln's Scar can be Odium since you can see it from Roshar and Scadrial. It's obviously something far away from both of them. And red I still not just Odium's color, from what I remember, there was either theorizing of a WoB ,pthat said that red is the sign of Investiture from two different shards corrupting. @Calderis @Extesian Wanna help me out?
  15. @Hatzis Welcome to the Shard! Have an upvote and a free spiked delicious cookie! DISCLAIMER: Side effects include, but are not limited to, hearing voices, gaining supernatural powers, having the sudden urge to kill everyone, and completely losing control over your mind and body. The Dark Alley™ claims no liability for any damage done to/by the eater of this cookie. Honestly, I'd recommend reading Stormlight Archive last. It has the most Cosmere cameos out of all of them, and it's the best one. Even if you don't read Elantris or Era 2 first, I'd definitely recommend reading Warbreaker first. And I'd recommending reading SH after BoM. The reveal at the end is so much better that way. Anyway, welcome again, and congrats on being my first welcome in a long time!
  16. Yeah, you do have a point about our usefulness to the village. I've tended to be a lurker in my past games, with only occasional posts and promises of analysis that never comes. I will say that the only people that have taken up my offer are only those that offered the same thing as well. Not all of them (though you can guess one of them), but most of them. I'm not really surprised that's the case, because you do have a point that it doesn't really serve the village anything at this point. I honestly wouldn't mind being lynched next cycle, if you really think it's dangerous for me to try to become a hub of information. I would try to come up with a code word for if I was converted, so you don't know whether to lynch me or not, but that'd be useless. It'd just be a huge IKYK. I'm glad that it needed up being a tie. I really don't think a lynch this cycle is smart at all.
  17. I just want to say that there is a good reason (technically two) for Aman to want to gain information this way, and for why he wants to die D3. If you really wanna know specifics, you can PM him yourself (he'll probably tell you why without a role claim, but don't take my word for it). I'm vouching for Aman right now, and I agree with his no lynch policy for this first night. If we lynch someone tonight, we gain almost no information, plus, I'd really hate to get the Seer's extra life so quickly, because where's the fun in that? If we did manage to lynch the Seer D1, they'd survive, they'd claim pewter, and they'd have a convert out there. Waiting till D2 will give us more information, based on what happens this first night. We'll be able to see if anyone was attacked (i haven't read rules in awhile, how do the Coinshots work in this game?), and we could try and see who is acting differently than the first cycle. I haven't done a vote tally, but I would urge those who have voted on Aman to reconsider retracting their votes and not voting at all. If you're so adamant on lynching someone, lynch me. It'd help the Seer just as much as lynching Aman would.
  18. I forgot to do this in my post, but I'll make the same offer as Aman and Shqueeves. Part of me has this crazy idea where everyone knows everyone else's roles, so that almost no one can claim a different role to different people. And if someone is killed, survives, etc. we would know where to look as we would have everyone's roles. At the same time, this would give the Seer super valuable information. The only deterrent against the Seer using this information is that if they converted a kill role, it would be really easy to figure out who they converted. Of course, that would only work if everyone did it and was honest about it. Regardless, feel free to PM me for a role exchange, and our roles will remain secret, unless you tell me otherwise.
  19. “No-one leaves this building until we have removed all stain of corruption from it. All other work is suspended. Do I make myself clear?” “Yes, Prelan,” they all said, through gritted teeth. “Good,” Waern smiled, “I look forward to seeing the Canton of Inquisition work.” Variel sighed, looking at the other obligators in the room. He couldn't believe that there was actually a skaa rebel amongst them. He was new and wasn't very familiar with many of the obligators here, but they had all seemed nice to him and didn't seem any different from any other nobleman or noblewoman he'd seen before. This skaa rebel must be really good at hiding if they managed to fool everyone here. Maybe this was his chance though. If he could help root out the skaa, then maybe, just maybe, he could go to Luthadel. He'd finally be able to make his father proud, and maybe even help out his house, which hadn't been doing so well lately. But that was a problem for later, as for now he needed to focus on finding the skaa. ~~~~~~~ I don't really have much to say about what we should do yet as the game just started (thanks, captain obvious). I will say that I think we probably shouldn't lynch anyone this first round. Partly because it'd suck if we managed to kill the Seer right away (EDIT: I keep forgetting the Seer doesn't die on the first kill attempt), but mostly because I agree with Aman. Lynching someone won't give us very much valuable information. We should wait and see how this first cycle plays out then decide on a lynch target. I'm open to change my mind later, but I'm not voting for now.
  20. Ugh...I've never played a conversion game so this is so tempting. I'll go ahead and join as Variel, a young Obligator rising through the ranks and hoping to one day go to Luthadel as well. I'm gonna try to be active as much as I can with school and band, but don't expect much from me.
  21. Ugh, sorry. I knew I'd read it before, I just couldn't remember
  22. Congratulations!!!!! I'm so happy for you and @Pinnacle-Ferring
  23. For making some pretty cool posts. Also, all I can imagine you as is a pile of books sitting by a computer.
  24. What the heck, I'm older than both of you? That's so weird.... Also, happy late birthday @Idealistic!
