  1. This has way too many adjectives and descriptors for a description of such a quick-happening event. I like "swearing at no one in particular", though!
  2. Duralumin-enhanced gold probably shows you every alternate path you could have taken, kind of like when Rand uses the Portal Stone the second time in TGH.
  3. Just a note, that wouldn't be a "break-away sect". Instead, the modern ardentia would be the sect and the breakers away.
  4. And we know how much Brandon likes turning archetypes on their heads... But that would mean that "Brandon turns archetypes on their heads" is now an archetype... So Brandon will have to turn that on its head... Which means he's going to follow the original archetype exactly! DOUBLE BLUFF!
  5. Very good story, and I eagerly look forward to finding out what is going on. For example, what is the "Sight"? What are Deathlanders?
  6. I have begun! BTW, I think the "mind twisting" line refers to the madness causing him to kill his family but leave his palace intact. Edit: Just finished!
  7. I think my real Talent is doing incredibly stoopid things, but with the side power of somehow being protected from the consequences of my stoopidity. So I could charge an entire army and not get seriously hurt.
  8. This assumes that truthspren are not honorspren, still an open question in TSA. Please pay attention.
  9. We know there's a way to use Feruchemy to enhance Allomancy, but we don't know exactly what yet. (I think it has to do with storing Investiture.)
  10. I very strongly suspect that the Ghostbloods are the remnant of the old, pre-Sunmaker ardentia.
  11. I don't think fish have enough of a Spiritual aspect to access the magic, just like there are no wolfhound or horse Allomancers. Llamas appear to be an exception to this rule.
  12. It is possible that first dahn is exclusively for the kings and higprinces, so that as Highprince, Dalinar is a dahn above everyone else in his family.
  13. Just one chip-in, I think sas nahn means "no rank", implying that slaves have no level of rank whatsoever.
  14. I actually put some thought into that and came to the same conclusion: Gold remained the basic currency because it already was a precious metal. Same for copper clips. Note that apart from atium (which is used as a currency), all the major Allomantic metals are extremely common.
  15. There are regular humans that use Shadesmar to jump between worlds. We see three of them in the Nan Balat interlude.
  16. Sorry. It's just that i've been downvoted a lot lately for no appearant reason, so i was a bit sensitive on the subject.
  17. Axehounds do have six legs, mandibles, and a tail like that, according to the pictures of them.
  18. First, I think those things on the cover are supposed to be axehounds. Second, there are a number of people (including me) who think the Dustbringers are one of the Radiant Orders (probably the second), while others think they are voidbringers.
  19. Nobody said we had to confine ourselves to things in TWoK. And besides, keteks are supposed to be holy poetry, so writing them about Jesus is truer to source than almost anything else.
  20. What's wrong with this for it to get downvoted TWICE!
  21. Platinum Allomantic power: While burning, creates a copper-cloud-esque bubble in which noone else can burn metals. Misting name: Smotherer. White Gold (Alloy of platinum) Allomantic power: Creates a bubble that amplifies the power of all other metals.
