  1. According to my belief. (We really need to get Brandon to settle this one way or the other.)
  2. You wouldn't have to. The Compounded memories never fade, so you could review them at leisure
  3. I find it more likely that they'll make a pendant or something with the correct version of Aon Rao. It probably would produce a much smaller power field, but it would be big enough.
  4. Fascinating! So Blackeye kills, Purple corrupts, Green nourishes... What about the rest?
  5. Why? I would assume that when you burn a coppermind, it Compounds every memory stored.
  6. Upvote for catching me making a mistake!
  7. I think it works much like the "spits" in Stoneheart. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoneheart
  8. Since Brandon is a man.
  9. Probably a combination of these two. You remember everything about that memory, and it doesn't fade.
  10. If you use too much energy, then you get exhausted and possibly die from fatigue, the same as if you used too much energy with your regular muscles. As for the Shardblade thing, i came up with the name on my own. I did notice the conversion.
  11. You seem to have very slightly misunderstood my idea. I'm not saying that the Windrunner gave the wall itself an enhanced gravitational pull, i'm saying that he could have "said" "gravity now pulls me in whatever direction that wall is." So changing the direction of the wall would change the direction of his lashing. This may or may not be true, but I don't think it's been disproven.
  12. How do we know that?
  13. Huh? I just said that there needed to be a way to give instructions to warriors, not that they had to be assassination orders. As for your question, Windrunner, I picked that because the Shin seem to draw a pretty sharp line between those who add and those who take away, and because there isn't a real name for that language that we know of.
  14. I think Trizee was wondering if whether, when you pass through the door, the direction of the Lashing changes to match the direction of the wall.
  15. I was assuming air resistance, so you'd eventually stop oscillating.
  16. Vstim explicitly states that it's the actual workers that are sacred, not just the landowners. As for kari-no-sugata's point, my argument is that there needs to be some way to leave written instructions for warriors, and it's probably sacrilegious to give instructions for killing in the Adder's Tongue (name i just made up for the ordinary Shin language.) P.S. I think kari-no-sugata might be Shin herself.
  17. I'd like to play as: http://camphalfblood.wikia.com/wiki/Jason There is one change I'd like to propose, however. For the purposes of this RP, I would like to elevate mortals to make them vulnerable to Imperial Gold/Celestial Bronze weapons.
  18. Probably depends on how you think. If you were thinking "gravity pulls me towards that wall" when you cast the Lashing, then you would fall back towards the wall and end up floating zero-g in the door. If you were thinking "gravity pulls me in that direction", you'd go flying off wherever.
  19. The Aon's don't grow weaker the farther you get from Elantris, they get stronger the closer you get to it. I know that sounds like the same thing, but we have to remember that AonDor itself is not geographically fixed. Elantris makes all Aons inside its "bubble" stronger, but once that is discounted, the power of the Aons remains fixed no matter where you are.
  20. Not really. It would probably be sacrilegious for warriors to read and write the language used by farmers or merchants.
  21. I personally suspect that the 17th Shard is looking for Hoid because they want to apologize and offer him the headship back (mostly because this seems a very Brandony twist to me.)
  22. First line of a story i just started for this forum. "In the time foreordained, a wind arose over the Dragonstone".
  23. Maybe Hoid tricked Galladon into kidnapping Gaz instead of him?
  24. . Meanwhile, Vasher kissed
  25. Glad to know you give that a pass. Anything about my write-up that's unclear or missing?
