Yes, an additional LG slot would be excellent. Also the first one, since it's sooner and I've gotten farther with the rules, will be a Made in Abyss game.

I'm going to be disappearing for most of this day turn. I have an organic chemistry exam tomorrow and the day after that I have to spend any free moment studying for. I'll come back once I fail finish the exam.

This is a good point. I know I just quoted the names, but this is still a good point. Elims would definitely know that Thaidakar was village. So if my suspicion is off of Archer, it makes more sense to look at these three. Thing is, I already trust stick. If she were elim, what she did last cycle would be so insanely convoluted it would break my brain. At least it makes sense as a villager to do, even if it didn't make sense. I did the math in my head, Stick is almost certainly village. So that leaves Drake and Biplet. Between the two, I'm honestly more suspicious of Drake. While Drake is open in PMs, his memeing in thread, while indeed declared before game start, is still an excellent way to have a thread presence without allowing for anyone to get ahead. Plus, his votes mirror some of the problems I had with archer originally. I'll take a look at all this later, I stayed up too late playing Hades, and I need to go to sleep so I can be productive tomorrow on my day off

Leets awoke. Why was he waking up? Last he had remembered, he had been staring out the window. And now he was lying down on a cold floor, his hands and feet stuck together with some sort of sticky substance. He shook himself, and he heard small noises. Like... Skittering? What the heck? WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT IN THE SHADOWS? It moved all over itself, a pile of skittering, of moving, of horror... Leets suddenly remembered that he hated bugs. "I see you have awakened," rasped a voice from the pile of bugs. If he were any less of a man, he would have screamed. Instead, he just let out a little whimper. Much more manly. "Fear not, young one. I needed you alone, so I can pass something along to you. A message." Leets whimpered again. The creature fully emerged from the shadows. It looked vaguely humanoid now, but... well he could still see bugs moving around on its face. No. The face was made of bugs. Yup, this was the day Leets was going to die. The creature continued to speak. "The gift your father gave, it was not the spikes. Those are not his, but rather those of an enemy, one the very cosmere needed defeated. He gave them as a reminder. The gift was something else." Leets perked up at the mention of his father, but he still couldn't convince his mouth to move in anything resembling words. "Also, this is for you to use." A bug approached him. Leets longed to flee, but could not move very much. So, he made more noises of complaint instead. It deposited something in his pocket. It then snipped whatever had been binding his hands and feet. "Please do not speak of my-" And Leets was gone. "BUGS! BUGS IN THE SHIP! BIG SCARY HUMANOID BUGS!" Leets ran all the way back to his room and took cover in his bed. He didn't emerge for 12 hours.

... I could have sworn Archer voted on a train day one. I apologize Archer, I have falsely accused you of being a sheep day 1. My fault for not bothering to check the day 1 count after thinking I had remembered it.

Granted fifth, lets take a look at why I want to stay alive. In regards to the original RP that this one is based on (the story of his dad), I got killed in LG43 before I was able to finish it. Then I got brought back by Endowment, but then the game ended before I was able to finish. THEN I brought it back to try and finish it in AG5, where I was killed AGAIN before I could finish it. Then I got brought back by Endowment again, but this time I actually managed to belch out the rest of the story before the game ended. In other words, I really don't want to die in the middle of my story telling again. (I actually had forgotten about this before I went back and reread the whole story last night for reference, it was crazy.) So in other words, I want to stay alive. There's no Endowment in this game, which means if I don't get to finish it, I will be Big Sad.

Ok, you raise a good point here. Unfortunately I still find you suspicious, but if you do flip Village, I'd be willing to take a closer look at Thaidakar.

This is concerning. We have a total of 8 votes, and a triple tie between 2 people that aren't elim, and one that (in my opinion) might be. @DrakeMarshall why'd you vote on Thaidakar? @Thaidakar the Ghostblood would you mind moving your vote off of me? At this point there seems to be a general agreement that my reaction to the pressure (and sticks weird pm thing) was village, and, well, we're tied. Archer is definitely a better exe. And everyone else: literally 8 people have voted. That's a horrifyingly low number.

I have done a full reread, and my earlier suspicion of Archer has returned. His vote on me rang alarm bells, as does his vote on Thaidakar, as Thaidakars early game claim more or less reads like an inexperienced villager. Additionally, as mentioned by Araris, elims often hide in trains, and Archer fits the bill for that too. All in all, I feel solid about voting him.

Ok, so from Strikers rule explanation, that means my understanding of the elim situation was wrong, and indicates that it is much more likely that a stockpile could happen, versus if it could be targeted, which is why I thought it wouldn't work. And like Kasimir says, the only way the village has to deal with it is to exe people and try and net information that way. Additionally, we have a rather large player list. If the village makes a concerted effort to deny nicrosil and duralumin, that would slow down a mass extinction as well. Especially if we catch on to them this early. Now that most of the heat is off of me, I'd like to seriously consider some alternate (and better) exe targets. However, I already used my allotment of brain cells today, so I'll probably spend some time tomorrow doing some reading of the thread in a more concerted effort. For now, time for some more RP. Also, in terms of reads, I am almost certain Stick is village as of right now. Matrim, I'm a little less sure, but would be willing to trust him. ~~~ Leets walked into the engine room, and walked into a hotbed of accusation and terror. He had not often been in such an environment before. The fear in the air was palpable. Almost as soon as he walked in the room, he was targeted by a wide-eyed engineer. "LEETS! Is this your fault? What have you done?" His eyes were almost bloodshot, and Leets stepped back in trepidation. Several others jumped on top of the engineer's accusation, even though Leets hadn't done anything at all. He was just as in the dark about what had happened as anyone else. He felt for the engineers, trying to figure out what was wrong, but rust and ruin. Thankfully, after some gentle talking, Leets managed to extricate himself from the situation, and walk on over to the head engineer, Max. Max turned around, and smiled when he saw Leets. "Ah, a sight for sore eyes. You come for a drink?" Leets shook his head. " 'fraid not, Max. I've been hearing things in the cafeteria about what happened, but figured if I wanted to know what actually happened, I should come ask you." Max grimaced. "I'm as much in the dark as anyone else. However, it seems that someone really did sabotage the cognitive drive, and that's a problem, because that means that everyone thinks it's one of us that did it. We're a bit on edge at the moment." Leets nodded. "I noticed when I nearly got stabbed when I walked in." Max sighed, and bowed his head. "Sorry about that. They're really at the end of their ropes." Max paused, and looked closely at Leets. "Are you alright? You seem a bit more haggard than usual." "No, I'm good, just didn't get enough sleep last night." More like he hardly got even an hour, but that wasn't important. Max patted Leets on the shoulder. "Remember, if you ever need anything, you can just ask me." Leets smiled, genuinely. Max had been his friend since high school. Half the reason he had even agreed to come on this trip, and even been offered the job, was because of Max. "Between the two of us, I feel like you're the one more in trouble. If you're in charge of the engineers, didn't you land some responsibility for what happened?" Max shook his head. "The captain was surprisingly understanding, we've known each other for a while. Captain didn't want to unduly accuse anyone. After all, it's not like the engine room is locked to everyone but us. Pretty much anyone could walk in here and mess it up if they understood enough about the investiturical conduits. They shut off our ability to maintain investiture flow, causing blockage and kicking us out of the cognitive realm and back into the physical." Leets shook his head. "I have no idea what you just said." Max grinned. "Your complete and utter lack of understanding of even basic realmatic theory, much less mechanized investitures absolutely astonishes me sometimes. There's no way you'd have the know how to do that. Not sure why they jumped on you like that. You're more likely to accidentally jump us through the Spiritual than land us anywhere specifically in the Physical realm." An engineer coughed behind Max, and Max turned to go. "I'll catch you later Leets." Leets considered what Max had said, gears in his head turning, as he walked down the corridor towards his room. It was true, he had never had a head for realmatics and investiture and all that crem. But, Leets liked to think that he knew people. So, whoever had done this had to have had a solid understanding of investiture and however those engines worked. It was a small lead, but it was something for Leets to chew on. Leets took a moment to stare out a window again. Outer space truly was gorgeous. The insect bite took effect almost immediately, sending him slumped to the floor.

The problem with the current exe on me is there really isn't anything behind it. The only solid evidence against me is the aforementioned slip, which I feel like if you read in context makes internal sense without it needing to be a slip. Besides that, it's just participation in thread, which I'm now doing plenty of! That's what leads me to think at least some of the pressure on me is not village based.

I don't feel like defending what TJ is seeing as a slip any more than I already have, since I see why he says that, but at the end of the day I was very clearly talking about a hypothetical situation. Especially as TUA turned village, making the whole idea of me being e/e with them utterly impossible. I also have been known to word things weird many times in the past, and get exed for it. These things do make sense in my head, but are read differently when they actually land in thread. sigh, I ended up defending when I said I wouldn't defend it. At the moment, though, you did retract your vote on me. I still find the initial sheep suspicious, but I figure an elim would probably just continue to use that to get me exed, rather than switch votes.

I'm not sure how specific I want to be. I don't mind sharing about it if it just affected me, but I prefer not to share information that might affect others without good reason. Suffice it to say it's not just me involved, and I'm just as confused about it as everyone else reading my posts. Also, why do you feel that I'm a worthy vote? All you did earlier was sheep on me, which, honestly, I found kind of suspicious. Even more so if you're actually advocating my vote now.

I used the word team mate because Matrim was hypothesizing the idea of me and TUA being e/e. As a villager, I don't know who else is village, so I'm likely to vote on them regardless. Generally, you avoid voting on your team mates as an elim unless you have an actual reason to do so. I was just saying I would, as an elim, vote on my team mate for messing with the capitalization. And no, I'm neither claiming Gold, nor saying I was role-blocked. The situation is a bit more odd, but I think whoever targeted me would probably know. Actually, now that I think about it, it's also possible that I wasn't targeted at all. As I said, it's an odd situation. Also, one other thing in my defense. It's not much, but if I were an elim, I wouldn't be hoarding steel. I like people dying as an elim. In my opinion, it makes more sense to take out threats more consistently, rather than risk having your hoard of steel targeted by a thief, or getting nicrosiled, or something else. Instead, my actions have generally been defensive, because as aforementioned I'm more interested in living through this game.

Interesting. It has come to my attention that I was targeted for some reason last night. I have no idea why you targeted me, but I'd be interested in knowing why you chose to do what you did.

Is this what I have become? A meme vote? Voted on for no other reason than "haha funny elims hoard steel, Steel must have steel" I was expecting some pressure on different people, but not I! Granted I haven't done much besides complain and RP, so I shouldn't complain too much. More. For the record, I have no steel. I neither spawned with any, nor have acquired any through dubious nor lawful means. And honestly, I don't really want any anyway. I'm more interested in staying alive long enough to finish the first RP that's actually caught my interest in at least 3.5 years. Leets actually seems like a compelling character, and I'd rather not have to be resurrected to finish my RP again. Not that Endowment could even save me this time anyway. So, please don't kill me please, I'm sure there are better options to exe anyway. Who they are? Yeah, don't ask me. I have no idea. My thoughts on people are mainly "I'm interested in what Kasimir is doing, and I want Fifth to stay alive." That's about it. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go... Sleep? Watch YouTube while pretending to sleep? Fall asleep watching YouTube? Something along those lines.

Leets sat with a few of his friends, having some easy conversation as he ate lunch. The topic had turned to the recent string of events on the ship. Apparently, there were rumors of a traitor on the ship, perhaps even multiple. One guy had already been taken in for questioning. Not that Leets had liked him very much, for one very particular reason. "Man, having Steel seems so dangerous nowadays." "I can't wait to pick up some Steel and fly around the ship. It'll be so much fun." "Dude, if I can take Steel, I can-" Leets violently inserted his fork into the table. Eyes turned towards him, glints of humor in them. "What's wrong, Leets?" one of them said, barely keeping the smirk off of their face. Leets sighed. "Yes, I know my name spelled backwards spells "steel," that's why it's my nickname. But I'd appreciate it if you don't make fun of it all the time." After all, he thought, it was one of the few things left to him from his father. A declaration that he was still worth something in his father's eyes, even if he felt like trash. "I don't know what you're talking about," said the man, turning back to his food. Leets sighed again and then turned back to his food. Suddenly he felt much less hungry. He stuffed a roll in his mouth, and headed out of the cafeteria, chewing on the slightly sweet crust of the roll. His father had made the word "Steel" a word of respect and power. A legacy. A legacy that because Leets was nothing like his father, he ruined just by existing. No one here would have made such cheap fun of his father's title. Leets wondered if he would ever live up to that. Again, he hoped that perhaps he would be able to attract a spren on Roshar. But... well deep inside he felt the spren would recognize his inadequacy as well. And they would ignore him. Leets turned his step towards the engine room. He had a few connections among the engineering staff, and perhaps he would be able to get his mind off of this by trying to think about this traitor situation.

The better question is, why are you not anyway, with one of the capitalization offenders eliminated, my heart can rest in peace. I didn't realize that it revealed what we take though. That's REALLY interesting from an analysis perspective. Now how to analyze it is completely beyond me, though.

Yeah yeah I see where you're getting that from but it was literally a coin flip between the two of you. It could just as easily be e/e with you too. Plus, this was rather cheeky which put me over the edge on voting you. and trust me I'd vote on anyone doing this, team mate or not. Unfortunately with only one vote I can only provide a small stab of discomfort to one person. Just.. don't use steel like a proper noun. Steel is me. steel is a metal. (i'm not actually annoyed, I actually find this rather amusing, but I will stick to my guns on enforcing this!)
