  1. I'm so sorry about that Szeth, I thought you might be Link because you were gone and a kill didn't get submitted.
  2. For the record, the reason I didn't move my vote on Liranil was... Because I wasn't on. Simple as that. Personally I'm kind of suspicious of araris
  3. Goodness gracious the dead doc had me pegged early. Feels-bad that my tells have remains the same after a 2 year break. I knew for a while that Link had to be an experienced player, but, well not knowing how good or experienced everyone was kept me from identifying Alvron too early. I didn't even know Quillin or Waffles were new until the very end.
  4. Collapses to the ground in exhaustion Oh my gosh I pulled it off. I'm so tired. Alvron, you're terrifying. My poor team got slaughtered this game. That was incredibly close. One question though. Did you take a durian? I almost killed you during the night turn on the off chance you hadn't eaten one, but realized if you had I'd stand no chance after that. So, did I make the right decision? Edit: after looking at the sheets, it looks like I made the right decision. Thank goodness I slept on that, because morning me realized it would be smarter to just kill Ashbringer and claim link and exe you. Whew.
  5. There are about 23 hours left to sign up... And I'd still like us to get to 20 players. (Mainly because I've prepared distributions up to a minimum of 20 players). So, last call for signing up!
  6. Never mind, Devotary appears to have accused me of hating cats. Such an accusation is unforgivable. I love cats, second only to huskies and chinchillas.
  7. Oh my gosh I forgot how fast these games go. I spend one day reading chainsaw man and I completely forgot about this. Not the best excuse of all time (but it was a really good manga). Not a lot of time left in the turn, and I have no idea what's going on. I guess... I'll leave things in the air and vote Matrim . Leave it to the dice gods to decide.
  8. Araris was more of a whim kill for me, Alvron. Araris has always been the kind of person who very much flies under the radar. At that point in the game I didn't really have very many strong suspicions so I started looking to kill inactives and people who are impossible to read, such as you, Devotary, and Araris. I didn't have any solid evidence on him, I just kind of killed him. A great deal of luck was exercised this game. (Also, pss pss this game should end either way right before mine starts so feel free to sign up).
  9. Goodness gracious how did you get that much analysis out of like 2 sentences worth of rules. I know its actually just strategy, but still.
  10. pff I can sneeze out a rule set more complex than this one. Even for a QF. Fortunately I don't want my money back, I'm fine with it being simple. Since I'm about to start GMing, complexity is not something I want.
  11. Oh hi, I forgot about this game. I should probably read the rules. Oh, wow, the rules for this one are really simple. Seems easy enough. Small player list too. I'd guess, maybe what, 3 elims? Let's go ahead and vote Liranil to get some discussion started.
  12. That's what we have Waffles for! We're pretty much guaranteed the win, no matter what.
  13. Alright so here's the deal. Time to come completely clean. I'm Link, and Alvron is probably the last elim. He's definitely evil, and I'm pretty sure he's the last one, if I'm wrong about that the last is probably Mist and I'll kill her during the night turn. My reasoning as of such is this. I'm Link. Quillin is definitely a village postman. Mist is probably not evil because the previous player was inactive when a kill happened, iirc. Waffles didn't murder me last night, meaning she's definitely a village knight. That leaves Alvron. That was solidified when he made his last post last night, so he's definitely evil. Now that I can finally get this off my chest, I can finally release some of the stress that I've been holding all game. Honestly it was kind of annoying, and stressful getting such an important role right off the bat returning to SE, and that kind of kept me from, idk, being myself, cuz I was hyper nervous about everything. All things considered, I didn't do a terrible job this game. I hit quite a few elims, although not all the kills you guys ascribed to Link were actually me. I also pulled a few massive dumb dumbs this game. I was the one who killed TJ, unfortunately. That, was not exactly my best moment. I thought TJ was evil based on his interactions with Drake and Illwei, so I killed him. And goodness gracious I was wrong. I was also really dumb in the fact that I didn't grab a durian while I had the chance. I decided to grab a banana because, well... I thought it was funny? I don't know. And then Beedle got killed off and it was too late, so that hasn't exactly been reassuring all game. My favorite kill this game was probably Kayla. I killed her for a particular post, which was a nice post where she said "Oh everyone has been so helpful." When I first read it I was like, "aww" but then I was thinking about it and thought to myself, who has been helpful to her? Nobody was talking to her in thread, really. So it had to be PMs, or... an elim doc? So I killed her and I was right! I've also kept pretty much all of my analysis off-thread for that very reason, because my suspicions were the people I killed, and I didn't want to be identified based on that. That's the same reason I didn't kill Drake, because I was already suspicious of him in-thread so I let him get lynched instead. One other note. I was not the one who killed Purple, that must have been a redirection off of waffles. Honestly I just forgot to put in a kill that night. Very awkward. I was still a bit hesitant at the time about the knight, because (what if it's a 5 head thing to fool me? Or just a massive miscommunication?), so I didn't hard clear the knight for it but I figured they were probably village. I've been wrong more than once this game, so that's why I still voted on Waffles. Also, in regards to the PM thing. I did kill off a few of my own PM partners, but Alvron dangit I want an explanation for why literally everyone I had a PM with just died! Although, I expect you'll probably double down on your Link claim to confuse the village. Yeah, that's about it for the moment.
  14. I... I'm not Urbosa. Nor am I evil. By my calculations, you might be evil though. But we can discuss that further at length here in a bit.
  15. This makes me laugh so much. I love this community.
  16. Hm. If Quillin isn't in danger of being lynched I don't really feel like keeping my vote on waffles. I would return my vote to Ashbringer, but Devotary is my other big suspect at the moment. Unfortunately at this point in the game the unreadable come off more as suspicious to me than trustable, a result of being burned once too many times as a result of ignoring those who don't leave a specific impression in thread. Plus, if waffles IS village, having her around seems like a good idea. Plus, what's an elim knight going to protect at this point? Also, I'd love for the other postman to reach out to me.
  17. sorry, that was me, I forgot to retract my vote. ashbringer, if it makes you feel better. Now stop ninjaing me
  18. Quick vote count Waffles(3): Quillin, Mist, Steel Quillin(1): Ash Devotary(2): Alvron, Waffles
  19. Sorry, I feel bad. I just feel like I need to keep the person who is absolutely village alive over the person who's possibly evil, you know?
  20. Yes, I can confirm, and I can also confirm she opened it herself. That's why I trust her. Waffles, I instantly like you as a person, but in the current game state claiming as knight is dangerous. Plus, I 100% trust Quillin. Therefore, in order to protect Quillin I'm going to vote Waffles.
  21. Yeah, with no way to prove that, it could be them trying to pocket you. That's happened to me in the past *sighs in AG4*. There WOULD be something to be said if, we could confirm that the elim kill happened on the same night as a confirmed redirect tonight or something. Then the knight would be cleared. I can't think of a way to necessarily confirm they're evil. So in my opinion, this subject isn't really going to get us anywhere as long as we can't prove things either way. (Because it's the day turn). After rereading some stuff, I'm still suspicious of Ashbringer so I'm leaving my vote there. I have other suspicions, which I'll probably confide in Quillin, since I trust her.
  22. As of right now, we currently have 15 players. I'd like the game to have at least 20 players, but at this rate it doesn't seem like that should be too much of an issue. Anyway, 15 players means there's only 15 spots left. Make sure you sign up (not in thread, of course) before the rest of the spots get snatched up! I will probably say something again when we hit 20 and 25, just so people are aware. Signups will still close on Monday.
  23. Alright. Ashbringer at this point anyone withholding information who's not Link is highly suspicious to me. We need to be fully open with each other to do this. By my mental math, at this point, I am pretty much the last roleless person. There might be one other. I have one banana. What the heck! the elim killed my PM again! Actually so did Link. Why does everyone I have a PM end up getting murdered by someone? It's very annoying. I didn't even get the chance to talk to Szeth before he got offed.
  24. Reserved for rule clarifications and the like. If needed, I will add an activity filter, but I'm hoping I won't need one. ALSO DON'T SIGN UP IN THREAD. I will also make a spec doc for those who desire that. I just thought of a rule clarification. When a person dies, their unused gemstones will return to the village pile. Elim unused gemstones will return to their stash. It's time for another rule clarification. In the rules, I say villagers get priority over elims for getting gems. This is not an absolute thing, I was working out the details yesterday. Essentially villagers get a higher percent chance of getting a gem than an elim does. I have yet to 100% settle on what that percentage is, but it is higher than what an elim gets. Meanwhile, a roleless person gets absolute priority before people with roles. Hope that makes sense.
