I mean the colour of his investiture is gold. Which is probably intentional as Brandon has said Ryse likes that colour. All encounters with Odium and his surrounded by golden light or it shines/blazes behind him.

Voidbinding is Odiums manipulation of Surgebinding. When he was trapped in the greater Roshar system. At first the humans were Voidbringers, now its the ancient Parshendi. Odium does not want to lessen his power, so he contaminates other investiture. Thats why most are red spren and a very few are 'Golden'. Gold is of Odium. As we now know.

What if Trell is our introduction to the fainlife? Only a double shard holder at the very least would take on Harmony. It is after book 5 of SA so maybe Odium is picked up by another shard. Whatever Trell is, its definitely corrupted investiture

If shes not Timbre then i think shes definitely coming back as a fused.

Or shes that spren that contained her sisters voidspren and bonded with her. Parshendi have been repeatedly spoken of as spren themselves in OB.

Ok created would be the wrong term to use as thats just how investiture naturally works in that system. I was more getting at Odiums forces got that power first.

Oathbringer Spoilers So was Odium trapped on Roshar for a few centuries/millennia prior to the first desolations? Would have taken time for 'The Tranquill Halls (Braize)' to fall. Not only that but spren is how investiture work in that part of the Cosmere. So Odium created surgebinding with humans prior to the first desolation.

So what does everyone think Honor means by this repeating statement. 1. Unite the humans to fight Odium? 2. Unite the spren and humans together again? 3. Unite the pieces of Honor together? 4. Other... please explain.

Just thought of this. What if Hoids talk with Dalinar about pulling someone apart chunk by bloody chunck, then put him back together would you call him balderdash... or something like that. We all think he was talking about Uncle Andy. What if Hoid was talking about Honor!!! Phwaor!!! Mic drop.

I think the girl who looked up was a Parshendi prior to the arrival of Honor and Cultivation on Roshar. Gods light that she stole was Uncle Andy investiture. Uncle Andy then created the high storms to chase her back home which in turn brought Stormlight to Roshar. Her and her people lived in darkness (no Stormlight), now they live in the [Storm]light.

Or they killed Uncle Andy because of what happend to the other Gods. Aka: Fainlife and Skullmoss

Hoid could be someone like Nevyn from the Deverry series. Aka his pledge to never rest until he makes things right again. So Hoid can (almost) never dies until he completes his mission.

Then why didnt the Stormfather not know of.... if he knows whats in the visions. Understand Odium uses the Unmade as his influence to change or direct certain things and events. So if Odium has modified the visions he'd do it via an Unmade. If the Unmade are corrupted powerful ancient Uncle Andy sprens (god sprens) then they could fool the Stormfather (god spren).

Without going into Oathbringer spoilers... Do you know the part im referring too?

Yeah understand that. Better 1 - 2 blows than nothing. Thats why i think an Unmade could have played a hand in making them, this is the last desolation. I think the shields are coming into the story at some point. Otherwise why mention them at all.

What do you guys think about Odium manipulating Dalinars visions? Like Ruin and the prophesy manipulation. Why does the Stormfather not know of all of what happens in the visions, is Odium the one that wants the champion clause to occur to settle things and not Honor?

Given Oathbringer is coming i thought id re-read Stormlight. As WoK and WoR were my first Cosmere books i read a refresh was in order. Came across the chapter where Dalinar finds out about another nation creating shard shields that stop a shardblade. I think the Voidbringers might get a hold of some or an Unmade may have created them for the coming Everstorm, the final desolation! Thoughts?

Morality is subjective not objective within societies. If God dictates morality then morality is nothing short of tyranty! For example: slavery is ok, so says God. Or murder all male homosexuals, or murder all females who say their vigins prior to marriage only for the newly husband to find out shes not, or murder all unbelievers who refuse conversion. Is it moraly ok to hide away and give your child freewill and high intelligence, then torture them for eternity because they cannot see the evidence of your existance and disbelieve your existance when they die? If God said it was ok (aka meaning morally ok) to rape a chick so long as you marry her after, would that be morally ok? Thereby condemning the victim to her rapist for life!!! Who is being punished here? ... Morals are social constructs. For example... in Australia its immoral to kill a female who is alone in the presence of a non-relative... yet this is morally ok to Muslims. Morality is not something that is absolute. And not determined by a God, but a social construct. God does not dictate morality, society does. Damnation!!, you heard of the 5 monkeys in a cage with the bananna?

I wonder if she can reinfuse gems with stormlight. That way alls Dalinar needs to do it keep her constantly eating and transfering the stormlight into gems when the hightstorms arnt around.
