What form does Nightblood turn investiture into? Can he access this, could he potentially use this which then turns back to normal investiture?

There is a WOB that says Nightblood is very slowly consuming investiture in the Cosmere. This investiture is nullified and cannot be reused. However theres another WOB that contradicts it and says all investiture he consumes goes back to the source. Not sure which came first and I'm crap at searching them

Pretty sure he has a limit. In OB theres a part where Nightblood has access to all 16 shards powers directly. For a good while too. But he just got full and acted like a drunk grandpa after a big meal.

TequilaJack The Stormfather was around before Uncle Andy was shattered. When Tanavast took up Honor, the Shard of Honor was not sentient, the sentience of Honor was Tanavast, the vessal. 1/16th of Uncle Andy went to the shard Honor, which incorporated the Stormfather. So Uncle Andy created him not Tanavast. How many Cosmere books have you read? Edit... The Shards themselves have not created anything intentionally wise, it's the vessals that intentionally create things, or modify.

Fanghur Rahl, I'm the same. What's the deal with Tanavast cognitive shadow. I'm sure we will eventually find out. My original theory, he hid there so Cultivation could find out how to shatter a shard. Aka suicide to gain knowledge. She is now waiting for Odium to be defeated or some specific time to bring Tanavast back and create a body for him to then retake Honor. Again this is pre-OB

TequilaJack, That different. Harmony's intent is due to Sazed being able to balance the shards in harmony. The other Shards intent is based on Uncle Andy's personality traits

Harmony is not an intent, but the name Sazed gave the new shard. The powers being held in 'harmony'.

Isn't there a WOB where Brandon says the names of the intents are abstract interpretations that fits close but not completely. For example Honor isn't really Honor, but it's a good description.

Knowing Hoid he'd probably do something witty and charge you with a blanket and bury you under it then flactulate. Cant hurt you physically but....

I dont see Odium or the Shards traveling around the Cosmere. I see the Shards 'AS' the Cosmere itself. The part about 'trapping' Ruin or Odium, I see this as the vessels mind being trapped not the Shard. As the vessels are finite but the Shards are infinite. This prevents the vessels mind from popping around the Cosmere. Where that mind goes it's only allowed to see/feel/directly experience and manipulate investiture. For example Odium is the Cosmere, but Ryse can only see/feel/directly experience and manipulate investiture within the Greater Roshar system.

Brandon says he only calls Uncle Andy a he out of convenience. I'm hoping Uncle Andy has a physical avatar, as all shards appear to be in the CR even though there based in the SR. Then again Cultivation became physical, or was that meeting an illusion of the mind.

Yata, Didnt even think of that connection, ive always known (post Elantris) that the Seons and Skaze are the 'spren' of Sel. My other thread with Odium and Saze was the Dark Seons.... Is this Odiums influence? Are Dark Seons dark red like the contaminated red spren from Roshar?? Thats what I was getting at in the other thread, but this was another thought pattern, this one was all about...... who and what are the Svrakiss??? Are they pre-shattering of Dominion and Devotion??? Sel's Heralds??? Other??? and if so opinions? theories? Theorize!

Can't u spell Adonalsium as One Soul One Mind? This seems to indicate he has no physical body. Add that to the religion of the one becoming many to experiance (physical life). Then coming back to the one with said experience. Think big bang then big crunch. Also the dead gemstone could be to weapon that killed him
