  1. Israeli, but live in San Francisco, USA.
  2. I did ask Brandon at the SF signing why Hoid had cologne and he RAFOed it (first RAFO card!). So there's probably a backstory.
  3. @Chaos Lord of the Rings is NOT A TRILOGY! It is a single novel broken up into six books printed in three volumes for convenience. Sorry, just couldn't resist. Yay Oathbringer! Hopefully it will fit in my locker!
  4. When your family gets together and says that you are no longer allowed to say ANYTHING about the Cosmere to them in the next week because they are worried I am becoming way to obsessed.
  5. But Skaa can't travel through the cognitive realm. How would they leave?
  6. The real question is what was being sold to the people on Scadrial. What did they need? I doubt that there is a universal currency in all the Cosmere, so something was being traded.
  7. Yes! Book by book or chapter by chapter?
  8. 1. Tin-62. Pewter-53. Iron-64. Steel-75. Copper-56. Bronze-57. Zinc-68. Brass-39. Aluminum-310. Duralumin-511. Chromium-512. Nicrosil-513. Gold-614. Electrum-615. Cadmium-516. Bendalloy-617. Atium-618. Lerasium-5 hurt aluminum heal steel
  9. Why did Szeth fall down? He was kicked in the shin Why did Szeth fall down again? He sprened his ankle Why did he fall down a third time? He got kicked in the Urithtiru
  10. I asked about the (AU spoilers) And if they ever came into the story. Also, since I'm pretty young, last year I didn't have my own money and couldn't order Elantris. Is there a solution for that, or are there just no more books?
  11. Maybe Sanderson wants to be more like GRR Martin, and take forever. Like you said, Winter Is Coming.
  12. If they drew out all the strength at once though, wouldn't their neck be strong enough to break the collar?
  13. Just coming home from the event! He was awesome! I asked two questions (I wanted more, but had no time). I asked Szeth is a Skybreaker, and why was Hoid drinking perfume that time he met Wax. They were BOTH RAFOed! I got my first card though, which was nice. Hey, is they guy with the two awesome clear-bladed daggers on here?
  14. Hooray! Thanks to the editors!
  15. HELP! I'VE BECOME AN OOKLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Ignore that! Long live Ookla!
  16. I feel like there's some guy named Ookla living in a basement somewhere making new Shard accounts. Is this close to reality?
  17. In day three of The Emperor's Soul, Shai says that "The only way to get a better stamp was to carve one from crystal itself, which was incredibly difficult." It's on page 35 of Arcanum Unbounded.
  18. In The Emperor's Soul, Shai mentions that any material can be used to make a soulstamp, but crystal is the best material for making stamps that take. However, few people use it because it is difficult to carve, and Soulstone is almost as good, as well as easy to carve. In Khriss's essay about Sel in Arcanum Unbounded, she says that So my theory is: THINGS THAT ARE PHYSICALLY ORDERLY ARE THE MOST SELF AWARE. Crystals are orderly. That is the definition of a crystal. Shai mentions wood as something that is very difficult to carve. That makes sense, as wood is not orderly. Soulstone is different because it is a part of Devotion and Dominion. It came from those rocks that fell from the sky that the MaiPon used to worship. So the only advantage that crystal could possibly have over it is its order. Ideas?
  19. Originally I was trying to figure out which pancake was for witch herald, but I gave up. However, I still want to figure out why Tashi doesn't have one. If I were a herald with no pancake, I would be pretty mad.
  20. My kindle AU just got downloaded and I noticed something. All then interesting/shared worlds have moons. Why might this be?
  21. Similar to Demiandre, I think that there are many invisible spren, or spren that a person can only see when it happens to them, like deathspren. Spren exist in the cognitive realm, so there isn't really any reason for them to manifest at all in the physical realm. There could be many more spren, but they don't choose to leave the cognitive realm.
  22. The Lighteyes are descended from the Windrunners, because their eyes are blue. If we figured out the eye color of the Shin, we would know if they are descended from an order.
  23. If Kelseir is in a the Cognitive Realm it would be extremely easy for him to worldhop and join the seventeenth shard.
  24. Usually, a person can use investiture when they have a similar aspect to that of the shard. For example, if you are super devoted to the land, you might become an Elantrian. How is Kenton not autonomous enough to have better sand mastery?
  25. You guys are overthinking this. You could just buy a sheath and stick your Honorblade in.
