  1. I agree. White Sand is the closest that Sanderson has come to allowing another author to write one of his books (they did the dialogue), and it was one of the least good Cosmere books in my opinion. On the other hand, his Wheel of Time books were as close as hit has come to him writing other author's books, and it they were quite good!
  2. I thought the right hand was the safehand!
  3. I will never stop reading Cosmere.

I'm pretty sure Sanderson said that Vashar is Zahel.
  5. Kelseir tells Vin not to sleep with her metals in her stomach, so she must digest them during the night. So they can't go normally through the digestive system.
  6. You and the pigeons have muttul control over each other. Your curse is that they all die. I wish to Surgebind.
  7. Killing lots of people for something that they may do in the future is NEVER a good idea. There have to be some Parshendi who don't want to be in storm form, the people could use them!
  8. The Radiant does display what looks like those surges, but I think that the general increase in power for all Radiants could explain some of it.
  9. Brandon is Khriss, remember? He won't die, he'll just reform his soul, like Hoid.
  10. If you turn an iron metalmind into a steel metalmind, you would probably have an issue mixing the identity-keyed iron with non-keyed carbon.
  11. What about the survival Shard? Also, there is a lot of speculation that the planet Purity, in the Threnody system, is a Shard.
  12. The dragon in the AU map looked kind of like a snake, so I would imagine that dragons in the Cosmere look somewhat like that.
  13. I think that the definition of a Shard is something that came from adonalsium. There are also many more attributes to a Shard than simply having a lot of investiture. For example it needs a Focus, and either a Vessel, or no self-awareness whatsoever. Nightblood has no focus, and is self-aware on his own.

  15. Ruin rises /above glory/ Wonderfully/ Gloriously/ above rises Ruin!
  16. Presenting day 12 of The Emperor's Meme (day 4 was short so I included it in the earlier one)
  17. Ooh, raisins sound wonderful! *grabs cookie and devours it, falls over screaming about Ruin and death*
  18. Since Brandon is so responsive to feedback, it's likely that he'll already be taking the objections into account, and be changing the way the next one is produced. I feel like refusing to by it is a bit harsh, and we might not even need to. On the other hand, I kind of like the idea of the Cosmere spanning multiple mediums.
  19. Maybe the Dayside sun doesn't emit UV rays, and the Darkside sun emits almost entirely UV rays. It would make sense because IV has a short wavelength and thus would be able to go through the particulate field.
  20. The Lord Beggar is kind of a joke term. Everyone knows that it's not a real title, but because there are so many thieves, they need a lord.
  21. You got the his whole theory without reading WS? I'm seriously impressed! Also liked the theory, I can see why it would work.
  22. The plot was wonderful, but th illustrations and dialogue are confusing. I think that while Sanderson did a fine job, the people who made it into a comic screwed up big time.
  23. Okay, I see what you mean, but the Fallen World was another continent on Threnody.
  24. Heal the Way of Kings, hurt Warbreaker 6. The Hero of Ages -- 16 13. The Way of Kings --17 15. Edgedancer -- 17 16. Warbreaker -- 8
  25. Thanks guys! It worked!
