  1. There is a possibility that the unknown Dark One world (which also could be Vax) is a core world as well, and then Braize pretty much has to go off the list. Of course, the fact that Brandon hasn't always planned Dark One to be Cosmere is an indicator of it not having its own core world. Although when Brandon decided to make it Cosmere, it is possible that he tweaked the outline a bit. I dont know how long Dark One will be (is it standalone or a trilogy?) but if it is set on a world that is all its own, then it would be a little wierd if it was not a core world.
  2. Are we sure Braize counts as a core Shardworld? Do we have a WoB for this? Cause I find it wierd that Stormlight gets two core worlds.
  3. How can Bavadin be "away" from Taldain? Isnt she invested there?
  4. Is it btw confirmed wether Dark One will be Cosmere or not? I have heard different things from different sources.
  5. If Rall Ellorim is a city of spren, then Axies must truly love the place.
  6. These two were the only (surviving) highprinces to join Dalinar at the Battle of Narak. What do you think their roles will be during Oathbringer? Will they continue to work with and support Dalinar?
  7. I think there are theories that says that Renarin is fooled to believe that he is becoming a Radiant, while in fact, he is affected by something else (Odium, I think). I do not know it very well myself, but if you look around a bit, you will probably find it.
  8. The WoB above gets me thinking. We wont see Bavadin for a while... then is she really Trell? If she is, Lost Metal either counts as something we will get "in a while" or she does not actually appear at Scadrail, but manipulates stuff from afar.
  9. @emailanimal Thanks for the recap. But we dont believe that Bavadin can physically change her original gender? That she can appear in whatever form she wants is one thing (like Ruin, just as you said), but is she actually able to change her "real" gender back and forth. In that case, she might belong to the unknown third Yolish race. Brandons statement can be read both ways.
  10. So what did Brandon mean: 1. Bavadin can change gender and appearance at will. 2. Bavadin is known as many different persons/deities. 3. Both above.
  11. So, Stump is either a Truthwatcher, or an Edgedancer. How important do you guys think she will be in the future? For example, will she be in Oathbringer?
  12. Fair enough. But I dont think Sigzil is a Ghostblood.
  13. This means that Bavadin is still alive! Yay!
  14. His spren did not look like Wyndle as far as I remember, so that would mark him a Truthwatcher. Then, since Truthwatchers and Edgedancers share a power, they might be a bit similar personality wise. But anyway, the fact that Wyndle and co chose Lift, makes me believe that the Truthwatcher-spren chose him. I dont know if the Edgedancer-spren would have sent two spren away. So I am now in the Ym as a Truthwatcher camp. The only problem with this is that Stump, Ym and Renarin all might be Truthwatchers. However, we are not sure about Stump, and she might be a replacement for Ym. As for Renarin, there are some theories about wierd stuff going on with him and his spren, so he might not be a Truthwatcher either.
  15. I am excited that Axies got a mention. Hopefully this means that he has a role to play in the future. Also, wonder how his relationship with Arclo is? They have apparently met, and know of eachother, but are they friends? Allies? Enemies? What do the Sleepless think of the Siah?
  16. That is exactly what Nohadon said, and look what he ended up doing...
  17. Didn´t Brandon say somewhere that we might get it rather soon in some way. I think there was a WoB in another thread.
  18. Well, first off, we actually dont know wether Bavadin is still alive or not, during Stormlight/Era 2 (I assume it is around this time Khriss wrote the essays). This is because of Autonomy being referred to as a she in the Taldain essay. Personally, I think Bavadin is still alive and kicking, and that Brandon just retconned, but we cant be sure. This does not really impact the theory though, as Bavadin/new Autonomy both could join Odium in a quest to beat the living crap out of poor Sazed. I do agree with the guy who said that Wax´s hate feels justified without Odium being nearby to influence him. I think it is more likely that Autonomy has gone there herself than Odium joining in.
  19. I think that it is plausible that Odium used Ambitions splinters on Roshar. We do have to consider that Stormlight wont be knee-deep into Cosmere stuff, so too many shards will probably not be involved.
  20. This what I remember as well. Terry does NOT want Voidbringers. That is why he is secretly murdering people in his basement.
  21. I think we should wait for Oathbringer, unless something unforseen happens and it gets delayed, or something like that. But if it comes October-November, I think we are cool. And it does make sense to allow the characters some more development. Also, Im with @WayneSpren for having 64 people. That will allow more minor guys to get some attention as well. Because some characters will always be there, and take spots (Marsh, Kaladin, Kelsier, Vin, Vasher, list goes on) but with 64 we get a longer tournament (which is good, cause its fun), and also a chance for more characters to appear.
  22. How do you think this guy will end up? Dead? Fighting for the good side? Being a villain for the rest of the story?
  23. I think Hoid works independently, with his own goals. He is pretty much always seen without aides, or friends. He just feels like the lone wolf kind of guy.
  24. If Brandon RAFOed, that is evidence for Bavadin being dead. I still have a feeling that he/she is alive though.
