But Keepers were a group dedicated to preserving knowledge during TLR rule. They may have consisted of full Feruchemists only, but 1) it doesn't mean ALL Feruchemists were Keepers 2) were any full Feruchemist born now, he certainly wouldn't be a Keeper

Theory: Stormfather is both a sliver and a splinter
Oversleep replied to 50Metals's topic in Stormlight Archive
If Tanavast would have survived Splintering of Honor and had time to bond a godspren (Sliver bonded with Splinter) and then died and his Cognitive Shadow merged with said Splinter... maybe that's what Stormfather is. Maybe he survived Splintering by holding onto said Splinter - prolonged agony, at best, but could have time for some final actions. Like his apocalyptic log for Bondsmiths. -
I remember there is something about deathspren. We need WoB on Death Rattles in near-death situations with the person surviving.

Going a little tangential here, but why everyone think that Shins culture is sect-like and Shamanate are like cult leaders?

Because it stores Investiture. Nor weight nor health nor speed is Investiture. Sure, the charge may be in the form of the Investiture, but that's not what you stored and not what you will get back. So the only case when you store and tap Investiture is nicrosil. Soon I will post a theory about Feruchemy, maybe I will be able to better explain my view.

Just finished WOR. mind blown...and was wondering...

But he could at least try! Try to Lash him upwards, instead of going "Hmm. He's falling to a certain death in highstorm. How uninteresting." -

Lash yourself mutliple times to the ground. Walk as if you were carrying something super-heavy. -

I just realised that I haven't seen my pack of friends for a long, long time. There's six of us and I suggested gathering at home of one of us (his parents are out of town) for New Year's Eve party... We used to do that every year, but turns out everybody has their own plans and the one which was to host said that he would like to spend it alone. And that was when I realised we haven't met in a group larger than three of us since highschool. Which we left year and half ago. We used to see each other every day back then... We were so close once! It hurts -

What height? 1) Lash Szeth up 2) Dive for Honorblade 3) Jump in highstorm to renew supplies of Stormlight 4) Lash to the sky 5) Catch Szeth before his Lashing runs out of Stormlight -

Well, Stormlight runs out, so Kaladin could have catched Szeth when Szeth would start to fall down, in the meantime Kaladin could have flown through highstorm and get as much Stormlight as he needs. -

All boils down to simple choice: to let Szeth live to kill Szeth If he decides to spare him, then he shouldn't just let him drop into highstorms to die. And that's what he basically did. Yeah, sure, Syl was yelling at him about the Blade, but it's not like it will walk away on its own, right? Kaladin definitely could sacrifice a moment to Lash Szeth to the sky, so he wouldn't collide with the highstorm and then retrieve Honorblade. If he decided to kill him, well, that's what happened in the previous version. Kaladin couldn't be sure that Szeth is no longer a danger, therefore he should kill him, not let him drop into a nearest source of Stormlight! Some may say that Syl told him that Szeth lost Surgebinding. Well, then Szeth is powerless and one, letting him fall into highstorm means killing him, second, he no longer is a threat so no need to kill him. Just Lash him up and then, after retrieving the Blade, take him to Dalinar. Szeth would be a valuable source of information and king could judge him and pass sentence -
Where did you get that from? Lerasiumborn gets more power than average Allomancer from the same amount of metal. (I believe allomantic strength goes TLR -> Lerasiumborn -> 100% potential Mistborn (Vin) -> Mistborn -> Misting). Vin notices Elend's Pushes way stronger than those of normal Allomancer, but makes no comment about him needing more metals because of his increased metalbolism. Therefore, his burning rate is normal, but he gets more power from it. Metalbolism

Right after he survived highstorm, when he is seeing deathspren and listing his injuries: We know that dying people experience somebody's POV or see the future. It seems like Kaladin here experienced one with near-death expierience, but he survived that.

I know that feruchemical and hemalurgical charge is Investiture. But nobody said you can store anything in nicrosil. On Scadrial, I suppose you can store mists (?), because of the analogy to Stormlight and Breaths. Mists are the closest to the thing you can point your finger at and say "That's Investiture". Maybe Soulbearers store parts of their own soul? Nothing is confirmed, everything is possible.
-
I don't think nicrosil is universal container - it just stores Investiture (on Scadrial, there isn't any visible Investiture, but probably you can store Breath or Stormlight). Well, things my change when we see harmonium - at least according to my theory.

When Marasi is told about about Miles in Alloy Of Law, isn't the term used?

Well, on one hand it's true that chaos factor throws some spanners in the works, but everything depends on the precision of the Diagram. It's one thing "Ally with person X, then when person Y attacks, backstab him and sell him out to Z to gain his trust to attack Y together" and other thing is "Gain power over X,Y and Z". The broader and more vague is Diagram, the less it would degrade. For example, it's pretty logical that Dalinar would try to do something with Highprinces, but Diagram doesn't know what and if he succeeds. So it simply says "If it's probable that he would unite them, dispose of him. If not, let him be". The Diagram doesn't need to specify which Highprinces would ally with Dalinar or which would go against him - those things can be judged at the moment one has to make a move. So Taravangian reads the Diagram which says "Don't let Dalinar unite them" and then he makes actions towards that goal: he checks if Dalinar is successful at uniting them, where are possible weak points in his alliances and so on. Those things don't need to be predicted by Diagram.

I need some clarification: when we use term "double metal" we refer to somebody with metal augmented by Hemalurgy (as in "Vin has double bronze") or to Compounder of that metal ("Miles has double gold")? If it's the first one (augmented metal), how we would refer to Feruchemist with Hemalurgy-augmented metal? How is it in the books? (Mine are translated, so something may have been lost in translation)
-
Sorry, I didn't notice the hemalurgy part of your sentence. You may say I... overslept *ba-dum tss* I believe that with double bronze you can pierce your own coppercloud, by cannot pierce others, since you are using that additional power already.

1. Throw 2. Kill 3. Resummon 4.??? 5.Profit It's basically bottomless magazine of shurikens. I believe Bleach is a good mining field for cool blades:

The person who writes Ars Arcanum is NOT Hoid, there is WoB on this. Somebody who is a villain doesn't say things like He may be many things, but he is definitely trying to do something good. Edit: Ninja'd by Voidus. Oh, it's the first time I was ninja'd, kind of a milestone of being a Sharder, isn't it? Is it really confirmed that it's Khriss?

So what, the theory is that Allomancer's body somehow touches the coin? Weird.
