I just figured out the Outsider's Intent (from Dishonored). He's the Curiosity Shard. He gives Splinters to those whose actions he can't predict, and accessing his power by use of whale bone instead of direct Splinter causes all sorts of interesting effects. The future sight is a bit of an outlier in this regard (foresight and curiosity don't often go hand-in-hand), but most of the rest of it fits.

The only thing I can think of would be the bit of impromptu false advertising they did with the ebook edition of the tenth anniversary edition of Elantris. The cover updated, but the contents remained the same (incorrect map and everything).

Also, it's an opal. Opals aren't listed in the Ten Essences as Stormlight-compatible gemstones.

Certainly it does, but the light-side/dark-side dichotomy has an uncanny resemblance (to my mind) to the behavior checks of the Nahel Bond. Maybe if the Force reacted better to empirical testing? Oh my, I didn't notice the resemblance before, but it totally is. I wonder what the Outsider's Intent would be.

Star Wars. Star Wars is "obviously" Cosmere because the Force power set is very Shard-esque. I suspect it has something to do with a hypothetical shard of Valor.

And even if it was, Dakhor would be based on a fraction of Fjorden's massive empire (see also, the relative sizes of Arelon, Jindo, and MaiPon), so basing the search for Dakhor's base shape off of modern-day Fjorden would be invalid at best.

Don't know where the link is either, but I'm fairly certain the order goes something like this: Dragonsteel Elantris series (Unless there's a massive time skip between Elantris and its sequels, or between the sequels for that matter, they'll all be first, or rather second after Dragonsteel) The Hope of Elantris (during Elantris 1) Emperor's Soul The Eleventh Metal Mistborn: the original trilogy (Era 1) Warbreaker series (because Vivenna still needs to be alive, and Vasher needs to still be on Nalthis, so barring any 5th Heightening shenanigans, no massive timeskips here) Stormlight 1-5 Wax and Wayne (Era 2, or 1.5, or whatever you want to call it) Stormlight 6-10 Mistborn: the modern trilogy (Era 3, or 2, or whatever) MASSIVE TIME SKIP Sixth of the Dusk Mistborn: the space trilogy (the last era) And somewhere in there are White Sand, Aether of Night, Dark One, Shadows for Silence, and The Silence Divine. And possibly a few others I'm forgetting.

If you look closely at the map of Sycla, you may notice the skulls and bones adorning the frame. Those bones have markings on them. I can only assume that these are examples of Dakhor augmentation, although there's no evidence of what those markings mean.

Shadows of Self Tour: London Forbidden Planet signing

Perhaps. I will admit that we don't know enough about any spren other than honorspren and liespren to really nail down whether Sebarial would attract any of them or not. (And that's really the major sticking point - you can traumatize yourself to any degree you want, and it won't mean squat without a spren there to take an interest in you). And honestly, I don't see either of those really working out for Sebarial in the slightest. -
Certainly. Tap weight (Feruchemy), while burning Steel (Allomancy), to Push a Hemalurgic spike through a victim into a recipient (Hemalurgy-duh). The problem of course being that one doesn't benefit from the Hemalurgy unless one can compound Iron (to Pull instead of Push the spike)

Shadows of Self Tour: London Forbidden Planet signing

Maybe far in the future, but not at the current time. He doesn't seem "broken" in the way Shallan or Kaladin are, and even the loss of his favorite sparring partner (Roion) didn't seem to give him more than a moment's pause at the time. Maybe next book or the book after, once he's had time to let it sink in. -
We don't have any word on why it's odd, and I'm certain I could dig up some wild theories if it weren't so late in my timezone, but aluminum tends to be a localized barrier between Realms - preventing Investiture from coming through to the Physical and applying the necessary effect. Hence, burned Aluminum wipes out your metal reserves, aluminum foil blocks out Rioting and Soothing, Aluminum weapons don't cast atium shadows and can't be affected by Pulls or Pushes. Jumping over to Sel, I believe it's been stated that "ralkalest" (a weak metal that can't be altered by soulstamps) is aluminum, which makes it dovetail nicely with these other denials of Investiture. (By that logic, aluminum would be immune to the relevant Surgebindings as well, hrm.)

There's no specific answer on this, but RAFO's can be suggestive.

Shadows of Self Tour: London Forbidden Planet signing

I parsed that WoB differently. I thought he was saying "If you count the Heralds [we've seen Nalan, Taln, Shalash, Kalak, the guy Nalan was talking to at Gavilar's assassination, and the drunk that Jasnah ran into during the same event] you've seen a member of every order. If not, you have not." Furthermore, assuming that Kalak hasn't made a repeat appearance, we can deduce the other two Heralds. First off, gender. The two unknown Heralds are male, and therefore are not Chana, Vedel, Pali, or Battar. That leaves Jezrien and Ishar as the two remaining Heralds. Given that Nalan spoke disparagingly of Jezrien's "drooling" after Lift escapes his "judgment," it seems likely that the drunk Jasnah ran into was in fact Jezrien. Therefore, Nalan's jumpy counterpart was Ishar. Therefore: Windrunners: Kaladin, Jezrien Skybreakers: Nalan Dustbringers: Actually, this may be the odd one out. Did Chana make an appearance during Kalak's prologue? Edgedancers: Lift. Truthwatchers: Ym, Renarin. Lightweavers: Shallan, Shalash. Elsecallers: Jasnah. Willshapers: Kalak Stonewards: Taln Bondsmiths: Ishi, Dalinar. -
Where's WalDo: The Kandra Worldhopper

Era 2 of Mistborn is in the time skip between Stormlights 5 and 6, IIRC. At least I haven't heard anything contradicting that. -
She's definitely fascinating, but after a while, I just couldn't cheer for her like I could for Chevalier, Imp, or Golem. I still found her story entertaining to watch, but I couldn't help but notice the fact that she didn't learn a blessed thing from any of her misadventures.

Wait... Which other planet? Scadrial and Roshar were both artificially created worlds, Nalthis' biosphere feels fake once you take a close look at it, Sel doesn't have anything remotely related to Hoid's magics. Besides, none of those (nor, it should be said, any of the short story worlds we've seen) fit the criteria of being "where two lands meet," which we know by WoB to refer to two different ecologies competing for the same space (I believe it was in an annotation somewhere, I'll have to check the coppermind. That or a response to "why's Dragonsteel taking so long?").

From the Aon Kii thread: What sort of guilt do Aon Kii and the Skybreakers work off of? Because emotional guilt seems... misguided, and it doesn't seem like there'd be a way to determine legal guilt, Realmatically.
-
The problem of course being that people who care not for the law would be unaffected by the prison. Think of an Epic's mindset. They do anything and everything with nothing more than a passing regard for those they consider beneath them, at best. If Kii works off of emotional guilt (which I believe is the consensus), then those people would be unaffected, while criminals such as Wayne (whose remorse drives deep cracks into their psyche) would receive the full blast.

Ding-ding-ding-ding! Your turn.

No. You're close, though. No.

Could be worse. He could be working on a single series as opposed to... 3? 4? Plus various and sundry sequels, novellas, and continuations?
