  1. Yeah Eshonai is gone. Timbre can't be Eshonai for a moltitude of reasons, there are at least 3 topics about. I don't want to go into the details because this topic isn't marked as OB Spoiler
  2. I read the topic and I have to agree with the disagreement side of the force. You arbitrary defined semanthics for stuffs while we have to be more stricly in that. @Varion made a really good job with this Shallan exibit nothing to point into a Corruption of sort, no Odium's Investiture involved with her in a meaningful way. Pattern didn't exibit features/powers differently by the other Cryptics we see so far (both in the CR or in the PR) and if the Cryptics as entire species were transformed, I assume the other 8 type of Sapient Spren would notice it. We spent some time (for some Sharder here too much time) in Shallan's mind/pov and she is perfectly coerent with a young traumatized Vorin teenager, We also know for sure she grow up in the years and at least two guys who directly KNOW all the Heralds didn't make a reference to her. So I assume we could remove completelly the ShallanIsAnHerald theory.

    How old is Lift

There is no official confirmation, but is easly extrapolable by the text
  4. @The Doctor's Mistborn I really like the Kandra and Hemalurgic Spikes
  5. But BAM is still captured and the Everstorm doesn't negate or circumvent the Oathpact...The Fused were unable to return until Taln's left. The Fused don't have to follow the Heralds to return to Roshar. Simply the lock made by the Oathpact could be released if an Herald allow to do it. When this happen a Desolation starts and there is a timeframe (unknown how long it is) where the Oathpact's lock can't be restored. This is usually the Desolation's duration, if the Heralds doesn't restore this a new Desolation starts. Probably (but this is speculation) the Fused are beyond the repair, they were already healed so much times in the past that their Soul is already mostly a Spiritual Scar Tissue. After all they were probably killed dozen of times, many of them will be made with Shardblades/Honorblades and therefore Spiritual Wounded.
  6. I am not arguing with your logic, simply Kelsier (also if he was a special case) shows there is something beyond the physical death. Kelsier did all he did, but the premise of his post mortem's actions was "there was something that remaines". I also agree with Harmony not speaking directly with a lot of people (to be more precise, he speaks with tons of people, but they don't believe he is actually an external voice) but his Words of Fondations and his cult is hardly about spread lies. Actually we don't know this and we can't actually know this. Be an Hemalurgy's victim means your Cognitive Timeframe is littler than usual, so your transition is really fast (we have a WoB about). By the way, I never proposed a Spiked guy is denied the Beyond (if it's a thing at all) simply that you are ripping apart the essence who in theory will survive in the afterlife. This could have ramification for the guy, maybe he will suffer or be a weird being....we don't know. I assume it's not the case, but I could see someone less "expert" about the Realmatic than our to questioning this. We have a Brandon's explaination, they will need some tests, but testing the Beyond is impossible and what they could theoretically see could be misguiding
  7. There aren't people like that on Scadrial I assume, when you could talk to Harmony and you know from direct experience that people remains around after death (kelsier as example). I assume someone could not believe in the immortal soul (I am one of this type of person) but Scadrial's situation makes really hard to follow the real world logic
  8. Unless I missread what you wanted to say you could do quite well and it's mostly what all the compounder does. Pratical example: 1) Miles stores 1 FCU (an hipotetical Feruchemical Charge Unit without a proper Unit of mesure) into a piece of gold that we will call Goldmind1. 2) He burns properly the Goldmind1 to compound and he recives 10 FCU of Health that he stores in the Goldmind2. 3) He could burn the Goldmind2 to gain 100 FCU of Health (starting with a single FCU) BUT notice this is not an instant process, you will took time to burn a metalmind. Every allomancer is limited in the amount of Preservation's Power they could channel. Stronger Allomancers could do this faster than weaker allomancers. Why did he need to do something like that ? He is more pratical to have a rich storage ready rather than make all on the fly. Much more there is the amount of Attribute problem. Rashek need an X amount to Youth to mantains his traditional look, no less and no more. It's more easy to tap constantly for a stable storage rather than spent all his day dosing his Compounding (that by the way, could be not exactly an easy think to performe as far as we know) PS: If I misunderstood the scenario you wanted to clarify, expand your question so I could figure the right scenario.
  9. Yeah and not all the Inquisitors of TLR's time had the exact same number of Spikes. Some of them had some "weird" spike like F-Atium for reasons we honestly don't know. Anyway also if all the Inquisitors had 11 Spikes, this isn't any kind of proof about a Ruin's number, Inquisitors are only one of the bunch of possible Hemalurgy Constructs, they are not more important than Koloss (4 Spikes) or Kandra (2 Spikes) or any other possible Construct. If you want to find some kind of constant in Hemalurgy, you may try to search somewhere else, for example 4 Spikes are needed to control an Humans (and I assume any other standard mortal without Realmatic weirdness) or (as said before) the Hemalurgy is 16 based exactly like Hemalurgy or Feruchemy. For a while (when I was really try to find "Shard's number" for another Sharder) I put together those stuff trying to give Ruin the number 4 and links to the Hemalurgy with the Fault I already explained and the 4^2=16 as the Number of metal....But honestly it's a completelly arbitrary stuff.
  10. Yes West Roshar workships mainly Cultivation while the East workships Honor. Of course this is still meaningless because the Vorin Culture is more recent than Honor's Death so We don't know nothing of the Old beliefs.
  11. Just to clarify. Yes the Cultivation's Perpendicularity is in the peaks and Yes Honor's Perpendicularity moves...but It's not the Highstorm. It's possible the Honor's Perpendicularity spawn sometime inside the Highstorms thanks to the Sheer amount of Investiture but It's not a stable or sure event. In the book we see the Highstorms pass many time from a Shadesmar's PoV and no Perpendicularity come to be' there. Similarity the Everstorm is not Odium's Perpendicularity and by the way Odium's Perpendicularity is more likely One Braize where Odium's Power mainly is
  12. Yeah but unless she is described as Shin...She can't be the same character. By the way, we have already a Realmatic Washerwoman, I am fine with her XD
  13. Yeah there is no correlation between the 11 and Ruin. Ruin is honestly linked to the 16 exactly like preservation is. The mainly theory (that could be wrong) is about the planets themself to have some weird constants who influence the magic...In this scenario the "magic numbers" are dictate by the planet more than the Shards and still is a loose correlation
  14. Yeah and in this case is still worse, because in the Breath case, you could see that the people is still himself as drab. While in Hemalurgy, the people mostly dies and when they (rarelly) don't die...the Spiritual Trauma will change them deeply
  15. The Divine Breath is usabile only to heal normaly and I believe It's happen as side effect of be' temp connected a lot with Endowment. About using Awakening to alter someonelse. That It's impossible, the only way to affect a living being with a Command is the so called "Self-awakening" and you could only affect yourself, more specifically your Cognitive Self. No, the Divine Breath is what keep a Returned Alive, It's the bridge that Stick the Returned's CS to his body. In theory Yes but It's unknown if you could recive a Divine Breath in that way. If It possible we don't know how and what use the Divine Breath could have. This is for our current knowledge EDIT: I wrote "Self-Splintering" instead of "Self-Awakening"...corrected
  16. Her background is explained a little in the annotations, She hates the T'tellir because in youth She had orribile experiences there
  17. I am trouble to find a way for Riino to be' alive. Honestly I doubt he is the actually same character but hard to say. The only way I could see survive to all, requires him to regain lucidity as Soon as he arrive in the CR and he could manage to build a protection thanks to the AonDor. But this requires. Great timing and an AonDor's knowledge that we don't know how powerful he is
  18. The Cube touched Wax, It was launched aganist him for that specific purpose
  19. It was a mistake but mainly Wayne is Just carring the weapon for Wax, rather than for his own usage. This is the official answer but remember the covers are not strictly Canon and this is true for all' the books
  20. The only issue with this is ethic for the point of view of damaging the soul of someone. That is far Beyond of the organs donor stuff that happen here. Based in the belief, you are butchering the intimate and eternal part of your beloved one
  21. How the ettmetal will change that ?
  22. Well it isn't something that could really happen. Chromium burns fast and the Leecher need to keep the contact with the Shardbearer AND burning Chromium to stop the summon. It's already an impratical and unlikely scenario and it mostly will stop the shardbearer for some seconds no more
  23. How this is supposed to work ? Nothing in the Awakening we know is capable of doing something like that. Much more, if Susebron use the Divine Breath....is dead.
  24. I believe we have no way to determinate what the Trellium Allomancy does. We saw only the Trellium used into Hemalurgy and also in that cases we don't know if it's always the same "Trellium" or if they were different Trellium Alloys. For here I will assume it's only pure Trellium everytime. - So the Trellium showed the possibility to steal multiple Attributes, at least A-Steel, F-Steel and an unknown non-magical attributes. This pushed people (me included) to think the Godmetals could steal Everything (something we believed was reserved by the Atium) but each one with a different extra (I will return to this later). - Someone spiked by Trellium is showed to be undetectable by Harmony as Spiked-Being, but this could be not a specific power of the Trellium as simply a features of every "Foreign godmetal spike" (to say, all the other Godmetals' Spike could be unseen by Harmony). - Bleeder showed the ability to use the Hemalurgy's weakness to comunicate with Wax, again here we don't know if the Trellium is involved or Bleeder was using an advanced technique inside the Metallic Arts (maybe through Emotional Allomancy) for doing it. Honestly, we don't know nothing sure about Trellium to try to speculate. - My first idea when I read the book, was about the Trellium as "steal everything" and the "stealth effect" as extra - Later I realized how semplicistic was my view, for example we saw the Trellium be used only to steal physical powers and an attribute (that could be almost everything as far as we know), this could point to a sort of limitation of the metal's steal-set (of course this idea, remove the chance of Bleeder using Emotional Allomancy on Wax and therefore could point in some Trellium-effect in there). You may see how we don't even know what the trellium could do into the Magic we already saw it in action....Feruchemy and Allomancy are utopias (and by the way, probably no one is able to burn it regardless)
  25. We don't know if the Lichen could grow in number on other kind of matter rather than Sand (maybe Taldain's one only) but by the way the slatrified is going to become uncanon so the problem is solved. By the way, White sand Prose Spoiler:
