  1. Well possible but I assume the Heralds are simply Ashlyn people or maybe among the first generations of Rosharan Human. Hoid stated he lived a lot of lifes even before the Heralds were born, so they are really a lot of younger than him. Probably they just have common knowledge (Tanavast) who refered to Hoid as Midius or maybe it's one of the name he was using when they meet.
  2. Cosmere's Aluminum is really more resilient than the real one....so it's at least possible
  3. If you read the WoB, Brandon stated that a Gold Compounder can't craft a Spren with the trick described because the Investiture is of the wrong gods to generate a Radiant Spren (confirmed to be made of a mix of H&C), then Djarskublar changed his scenario to use Stormlight as Investiture to do the trick and Brandon stated it's now possible. This means the Stormlight is made of the same composition of Spren.....And as the Radiant Spren are H&C's Splinters, it implies the Stormlight is the same.
  4. @Leyrann we have a WoB that implicit states Stormlight comes from H or C or both So unless you assume that every Spren (both lesser and Sapient) is made of Endowment's Investiture....The facts point to our Friendly Shards of the System
  5. Ash is stated to have weird eyes and shin-blood but of course this doesn't point to Sel. It simply proves the Heralds predate the Humans' adaptations to Roshar's envirorment
  6. I believe not, the food will probably need to be digested and one in the actual bloodstream if could be stored. So you will need some minutes after a part to start to be able to store a bit of a meal (depending of the kind of meal) and hours to store all of it. It will depend by the previous point, if the food need to be into the organism he need to digest/assimilate the iron too. I believe you mistyped because I don't know how a Lurcher fits into this kind of topic
  7. The Physical Aspect as you said will rot as usual The Spirit-Web (Spiritual Aspect) will be recycled into the right source (return to the Cosmere) in Scadrial case, the Soul will return to Ruin and Preservation (now Harmony) The Cognitive Aspect (the Mind) as "who you are" is probably the part that will reach the Beyond. Unluckly Brandon use the word "soul" is an extremely loose way, sometime he use it as "Mind" and sometime as "Spiritual Aspect" (and indeed it's the actual right one). About your idea of the Well, the Well is indipendant of this "recycled Investiture". You may see how the Well is refilled with an extremly precise timing and how Preservation has regardless tons of Investiture. A Perpendicularity (as the Well is) it's just a side effect of the Shard's investiment into a planet, it's where the Shard's Investiture gathers (if you want an analogue, if the Planet is an idraulic system filled Water (Investiture), the Perpendicularities are were the the system loses humidity).
  8. You misunderstood this part. The Heralds don't rebirth freely. If one of them die, he/she will return to Damnation to seal the Fused. If one of them broke under Fused's torture they gain again a physical body and returns to Roshar because a Desolation is starting. They are always the same, they don't age and no of them died in the last 4500 years (Well Jezrien broke this record) EDIT: Ninjed by storming @Calderis
  9. Going for elimination and assuming the similarity with the ones we saw in the Physical Realm, the Mistspren are most likely Truthwatcher's Spren...But it's NOT stated in the book, so it's only a likely speculation
  10. It's more likely for an Herald to be' a darkeyes rather than a lighteyes as they have not their Surgebinding's abilities and they are not Radiants' descends Of course they could be' lighteyes but It's mostly a random fact like in our world
  11. Gold is the Color associated with Odium. You May notice It both from his apparences and how fast the Stormfather links the "Golden light" to Odium @Thanatos I Will be' cautios to say things like that. We don't know if he Fused are Voidbinder, so We don't know how the Voidbinding works. Many clues seems to point to the Fused's magic as not the Voidbinding but It's hard to say something about for sure Also the "voidbringers" Word has a so wide meaning to be' quite useless. It's like our "demons" the Singers use It in the human's invasions (that were not Voidbinders) regard and the Human kept using It to describe "Evil forces".
  12. My headcanon (based on @Pagerunner theory on an unbalance into the Harmonium) is the Ettmetal's byproduct is Atium. It could be an interesting way to re-introduce it (The Lost Metal) without drastically change the Scadrial's status quo (without Mistborn and Full Feruchemist, the Atium is mostly useless)
  13. I believe noboby was arguing he actually didn't die in the physical sense, The Blades spawn moments after the "death" but at that point the former Shardbearer isn't yet Beyond (pun intended) recovery. Well the mechanic of the scene shows that someone killed by a Shardblade and then Healed after some seconds is still able to return. Of course Szeth isn't a standard human anymore. He held the Honorblade for years and tap from Investiture intensively...So his "recovering time" is probably far longer than a regular dude. By the way, you have right to the need to remember the continuity change....Often I forget the change for example. Because I read it in the old way
  14. I strongly disagree with this, if something is able to bypass the Interferace (and honestly I am unsure it could) is the Feruchemical Aluminium (Identity)
  15. The Sibling's Slumbering seems to predate the Recreance, we don't even know if Melishi was bond to the Sibling rather than be bonded with the Stormfather or Nightwatcher (assuming she is the second Bondsmith's spren)...Because if like it seems likely the Sibling began to sluber far before the Recreance...Melishi will probably be unable to bond with him or performe the task he has to about BAM
  16. The scene changed but it's still canon for the showed mechanics, the Regrowth could heal that
  17. @Stark now I am doing the devil's advocate but: - what stop TLR from compound oxygen to keep himself alive in the coffin? Of course this assuming he doesn't prefer to use the Cadmius to directly "skip time" - how they manage to imprison him into an Alluminium coffin? It's quite hard and risky to grab Rashek both for a Lifeless (expecially for Chromium) and an Awakened object (Chromium or the Identity trick) and keep in Place someone who could alter his body-size (Pewter Feruchemy), mass (F-iron), is agile as hell and could letherally torn apart whatever binding Force sent to him. - There is also a way (unknown yet) to worldhop using the Metallic Arts, as TLR has all' the possible Powers...he would be able to performe It. So binding isn't really a problem when he could slip into Shadesmar. By the way as I saw Susebron be' able to prepare whatever he want for the fight. I assume for sake of equality, TLR could be' at least armed too. 1-2 meele weapons (a Metallic slash weapon and a torch-like took) and a sack of Coins/similar-objects. Assuming this, TLR could really easily destroy whatever Awaken Cloth Duse could use before the object is able to be' harmful. By the way, I really want to try to figure how much Sus could awake with his Treasure. His stock of Breath is impressive but also Awakening consumes a lot of Breath.
  18. Like @Calderis said, for Nale's words he is the only complete Skybreaker around
  19. Every living Feruchist was murdered by Ruin and many of the people with a good Allomantic Heritage died too. Spook was for example a Mistborn by Harmony's interception but It was a really weak One. The remaining Ones interbreed with people Who further diluite the magic potential (Skaa) and with people Who actually interfered with the Magic at all (interbreed between Terris and not Terris). With the exception of some "relative strong" bloodline. People are mostly return to the pre-Lerasium era...we see a lot of Allomancer around only because Harmony made the Snapping more Easy to attain. A great fraction of the current Allomancers would not be Magic users without this change. Mistborn and Full Feruchemists are still possible, Just extremely unlikely to happen In a some way, we could argue that Harmony made the Metallic Arts to survive in a some mesure rather than return them into the myths
  20. Sazed didn't nothing to make those, He simply didn't avoid those events. The Feruchemy's weakening is the result of the mixing with Allomantic genes and the quite nothing odd to have a Mistborn is the result of both the natural decreasing in Allomantic Strenght and again the mixing with Feruchemical genes (that interfere with Allomantic ones). Probably without Sazed messing with Snapping, the amount of Allomancers during Era 2 will be probably extremely rare.
  21. well first of all, you have mostly right. Just notice some limitations to your idea: - The Spren and the Radiant can't stay too far or the Bond will suffer/break. So, be in air firing your spren could be not the best idea around. - You will have a weapon that could pierce everything like butter...but only its edge, it could remain trapped into something the head of the arrow easily pierced. - Miles away of range is something really beyond the Bond's possibilities, you will break the bond in doing it and the Arrow will also vanish without the Radiant as anchor. - The Spiritual damage need to be relevant to remove a portion of the Soul, I believe the Arrow will be unable to affect the enemy unless you hit a fatal place (spine or head). - The first living thing will stop the Shardarrow as the magical cutting will sender the Soul leaving the physical intact and then the rest of the arrow will clash with the physical. With all of this limitations, the base tactic works. The Shardarrow could be employed quite effectively.
  22. Your idea has merit, but you have to realize that Spren like that will not bond to Humans. Actually there is more into Wit's involvment into Roshar's affairs than his usually business...so I will not exclude also a more mondane reason to be' with the people Who are setting the path of the world. As Wit is confirmed to have parts in OB, you will be' able to profile his actions Better After Reading it
  23. Probably it's not needed but Warbreaker Spoiler:
  24. Probably it's mostly matter of view. For example I see the Metallic Arts as more interesting than Rosharan Magics. I like them both but the Rosharan ones are really loosely in the effects they have. Adding elements doesn't imply a better product, personally I prefer to see magic works with clear elements and see them used in originally way rather than having tons of them popped up around for every circumstances. Some could disagree with me, others will agree with me...It's mostly matter of taste and perception ;-)
  25. This is exactly how I figure a character like Jasnah. Yeah It was my opinion, I could of course be wrong. But Jasnah has the resource to manage almost all manaces. And keep a tool hidden until she really need is into her character. Notice also that your own idea falls in the same argument you used to me. if she gained the Plate there....Why didn't she use it for the rest of the battle ?
