  1. Probably the other Surge will be' more helpful to a Bondsmith to climb. He could Simply melt/soft the surface crafting his own grip points to climb thanks to them
  2. I assume a good Dor's practioner could manage to do something before the Dor claims him (assuming Selish magic works in CR). Much more we don't know if the CR side of the Perp is safe or not (like the eye of a Storm where you could stay relative safe). So if the guy arrived with his mind restored into Shadesmar and the perp is safe...he could find some way to overcome his problems. Hoid waited and when Elantris was restored and the Built up of the Dor lessened he managed to leave Sel. Of course the book implies he left because he failed to turn into an Elantrian but maybe he can't actually leave before
  3. Compounding itself is already quite complex to performe. Probably It's Just simplier to store the surplus into another piece of metal (that could be' always in the stomach for convenience)
  4. They exibit most of the Surges already. The missing Surge needs to be' One between: Adhesion, Transformation, Tranportation, division, Tension. Personally, I believe they miss Adhesion
  5. The gemstones shatter when the Stormlight is tapped too fast from them. It's mostly happen with Soulcasters and Plates under great efforts
  6. It doesn't change your argument but Szeth is a 3rd Oath Radiant, not 4th
  7. In theory I could see Glys' life in the opposite order (created as voidspren by Sja-Anat and later corrupted by Cultivation) but I see it a bit unlikely. First of all we don't know if the Unmade are able to craft new Spren, it's likely they could but for how the Spren's birth work I see unlikely they actually do it. Regardless from that the Resulting spren would be a mostly Voidspren with "some of Cultivation" in it....And Glys seems the opposite, a mostly Radiant Spren with some Voidish Influence....But this is high speculative. Lastly I wanted to make a note, if your idea is right. Glys is a Spren without Honor in him. Not a pro or a contro, it's simply interesting. By the way, I disagree with your idea of Sja-Anad not be able to corrupt a Radiant Spren, to me she could.
  8. I didn't notice this topic. Teft is extremely unlikely to be a Radiant in his youth and almost impossible to be a Windrunner for the Honorspren's attitude upon this. The Honorspren (exept Syl that never took this agreement with the SF) started to bond with people only after the Stormdaddy himself bonded Dalinar. He be a surgebinder of another order is instead only extremely unlikely but less troublesome. Sure he need to be only a proto-radiant to not notice the whole stuff in the right prospective and He can't be of some specific orders because we know those spren didn't bond at the time (es. Cultivationspren) . Anyway nothing in the text make me this he was a Radiant or proto-radiant of sort
  9. There is a WoB I can't find from months (maybe a whole year) on Reddit. In this WoB someone asks about the effect of an Atium-lerasium Alloy. Brandon's answer was (heavly paraphrased). "That alloy' effect would be' very clear if you know the Realmatic. It could make a Seer or blow up" As he is used the blow up for Harmonium (a decision I find really appropriate) It's most likely (I will say confirmed but someone could disagree) that the Atium - Lerasium alloy produces Seers

    Vin's earring

    Left....because It's left
  11. @Kk- I believe you miss something, first of all without be a Seer yourself...you can't know where your Atium Shadow will be and fake it out will be really hard, then you can't know how an Atium Shadow looks and therefore you will unable to replicate the look of one of those. Lastly also if the Atium shows you the Shadows...It's mainly a visual help, it seems to me that a Seer could fight burning Atium also without see the target. So confusing sight isn't really useful. Probably you could do it with someone using gold or electrum as those metals don't carry with them the enhanced Mind to process the temporal informations
  12. I don't think Adolin is even near to a proto-radiant level. Also in a proto-radiant a Spren is functionally whole and able to follow his nature. Something a Deadeyes is probably uncapable of doing. I already exposed my point about the not fully recover of the Deadeyes and as it's an high speculation I will not mention it again. So assuming a Deadeyes is 100% recoverable (the main argument on the forum) and Adolin is actually walking into the Radiancy path. I assume he will not gain anything Surgebinding related until Maya is restored. Probably in practice this would mean a behavior similar to what we see with the average Skybreaker. The candidate/Adolin will need to reach a quite deep Oath Progression before the actual Nahel Bond is enstablish. Of course in the Skybreaker's case is all of a common agreement between Nale and the Highspren while in the hypotetical Adolin's case will be in the actual possibiility of Maya to be fully functional to actually start a proper Nahel Bond
  13. The Set isn't really dumb, I assume they tried to alter the Spikes to allow a less control. Regardless, we actually have an instance of a Tiny and weak Spike used to take control by Hemalurgy's Fault. The Hemalurgic bullet Wax shot to Bleeder was a weak Spike, melted and reforged multiple time....in a spectrum of charge, It was very low and of course It was very small... regardless It was enough to control Bleeder (that carried already another Spike). Another point (but I tend to not use Era1 as proof), is the way of influence Ruin had in Spook and Vin. Very different Spikes' size and different degree of decay. But still no difference in how far Ruin could influence them
  14. Adhesion works on skin this is sure but it works a bit less (because Investiture resists investiture and living beings are more invested than rocks)
  15. This is false, the Hemalurgic charge is not meaningful for the Fault. A weakly charged spike and a overcharged spike will crack your soul (and allows Influence) in the same way (To say, 4 Pathism Earrings will allow Harmony to control you). Of course the amount of implanted Spirit Web will be different but it's not relevant in the Fault's topic.

    Abrasion

And a frictionless object would not be pushed back. It's exactly the same case of Frictionless Lift to be unable to be slowed by the air while she moves around. She pushes on the air but the air is unable to push back on her.

    Aons and Intent

Aons mostly doesn't require an appropriate intent in the regard of the effect, just the will to drawn an Aon. But I am quite sure, there are a couple of Aons requiring the right mindset to work, now I can't rememeber them but there were mention of them into the Arcanum or the Aon's list. To me those Aons with "extra requirements" are the one who work mainly with the Spiritual but I have a complete mindblank at the moment
  18. People don't turn into Spren, it doesn't work in that way so Kaza can't became a smokespren. The best that could happen to a mortal is to become so invested over his/her life to turn into a Cognitive Shadow (like the Heralds or Fused) upon death. Kaza as a Soulcaster in a deep state of Savantism could have reach that point. If this is the case, She simply spawned in Shadesmar has herself and she had the choose to reach the Beyond or stay around on Shadesmar

Not as far as I know. There are people Who are proposing some kind of relevance in Taldain for cultural stuffs but I disagree
  20. The Atiuminds were for so long parte of him to merge (at a degree) with his spiritual. Removing them was both an emotive and a Spiritual shock...I Will not say It's like Hemalurgy but something in the same "type" of sensation. He would not be' able to focus for a while After that
  21. Well one of her sisters is a dude...So problem solved for Vorin's tradictions. Anyway I don't see the political marriage as a likely option but it's hard to deny a possibility at 100%
  22. I see Elend as an incompetent Seeker, he has the power but not the skill/talent to filter among the Pulses and something like that. Probably he is able to access the Pulses hidden by a Coppercloud but he has not the skill to understand what he is hearing. I am quite sad Brandon never tested this Vin's skill, for example: - Vin never mentioned to be unable to pierce Elend's copperclouds (as she can't be able to pierce a Coppercloud of that level) - Vin never tried to make Clubs or anyone else Flare copper to see if she is still able to pierce the cloud Vin is quite diffident and methodic...She will never trust a skill without test its limits
  23. The simple answer is 4 Spikes to control a person. BUT that is only the minimal threeshold to have a chance to gain a Full control on an human based being. This would not allow you to control always someone, the target's will will come into play and requires more and more spike to obtain a control...But if you want an hard number, with three or less Spike even a god can't take direct control of an human being
  24. It's a possibility, sure there is the WoB about them as Odium's splinters but it's possible they are made ALSO of an Odium's Splinter. For now as far as I could say, it's an hypotesis without an explicit contros (someone else hypotized the DawnShards= Honorblades)
  25. Well Stormlight was designed to be really volatile and leakly as it processes a critical function in Roshar's envirorment. I am not really sure if there is "no leaking" at all in Voidlight's case or if it's just really slow. It really depend by the status of Gavilar's orbs. Are they perfect gemstones ? (I doubt it but I can't actually prove it)
