Ok this is interesting... I don't think the Novella will be about Lift and her research of the Old Magic (it will be disappointing if something like that isn't in Stormlight Archive's books) but it's good to have some answer before LIft became a main character (6-10 books if I don't remember wrong) -
it's soo explicit O.o .... Maybe I have to re-think about my whole understanding of Taldain. I don't know if I have to be happy or not
-
Maybe I don't understand what you want to say. But many magics give to you some look (for example Atium) or some managing (for example Soul Forgery or Feruchemy) of the Spiritual Realm or at least of a specific subspace of the Spiritual Realm. We know also that Shards may stay in the Spiritual Realm and for there obtain their future sight...also a mortal may do it, well at least before his mind completely broke for the amount of Information. Also perpendicularities pierces all the three Realms therefore it's possible that someone may use them to worldhop in the Spiritual (but I don't think its a smart thing to do for him) Therefore mortal and higher being have access to the Spiritual Realm.

To be honest to me, this don't support and even contraddict your theory. Someone said "your body, mind and soul will be separated one will return to the earth, another to the Cosmere and one... I don't know (Beyond). To me the only way to make sense with this sentience is: The Body returns to the earth (well as in the real world), the Soul's Investiture will be reclycled returning to his right source (for example Harmony for a Scadrial guy) and the Mind will go to the Beyond... But it's just my interpretation.
-
Like CaptainRyan says.. they are two distinct place: The Beyond is place... well beyond the three Realms. A place where only your mind goes and we don't know quite nothing about. Instead the Spiritual Realm is the place of perfect self, a realm of Concepts and Connection between these Concepts where space and possible time is meaningles... The famous Spirit-Web is exactly your Spiritual-Aspect also called your Soul... a Set of Connection with thing that made you what you are. If you read Secret History (and you whated me some part of it) you have saw: Or without going in to the Spoiler Field... When Elend just before die.. Flare the Atium, He see the future and the ultimate Preservation's plan... Because with the Atium he may see for an istant in the Spiritual Realm (it's what the Atium does).

To me her last Truth will be "I am Batman!" (rich family, parents murdered, double identity)

I have to wait until the graphic novel would be avaliable in my country. I will read it in english but I find it only in digital edition for now.

We have a WoB who says that returns from someone not for Nalthis is quite impossible.

I understand what you want to say but I think The Law of Comparability mean just that every Awakening doesn't have the same Breath's Efficiency. In my explaination I took Nightblood as a 100% Breath's efficiency (it's a weak Hypotesis but I needed a fixed amount of Investiture to use as sure overbound to Band's Investiture). But to me it was a meaningless add, because if I use an extremely uncomparabe set of object and command, of course the Awakened object would me less powerful but it will have still the fixed amount of Investiture who took for me. In the "how much is Invested ?" the Awakening efficiency would be meaningles. Anyway like I said I overstimated Nightblood's Investiture to have a sure reference and I didn't take the less Invested Shardblade always to have a sure reference. The 1000 Breath is an upperlimit to the Band's power overstimated twice. But for the sake of number I preferred to work in this way. If you have a better Idea I would be happy to restart the whole problem and find an alternate solution

We don't even know if Returned may ingest Stormlight at all of they need some "trick" to do it. I for example think that Returned like other kind of Bonds, gain some extra power on Roshar because in the end, they are (dead) people bonded with a Divine's Breath (an Endowment's Splinter). I also made a theory about (it's in my signature) but we have no sure proof of that.

Because the Medallions with a single power-gifted (for example with just Heat Feruchemy) are made by a ring of Nicrosil who gift you the abilities stored (in this case just Heat Feruchemy, but potentially the whole FullBorn's powers like the Bands) and a Brass to use the gifted power without search another source of Brass. In the end a "Medallion Tech" is just an Unsealed NicrosilMind. But some smart engineer decide to integrate in the Medallion's design also Metals of the right type for Medallions who gift Feruchemy. To avoid for an user to have to carry separately these metals. The Bands for example are made by a lot of "layers" of different metals. The Nicrosil part made you (probably) a FullBorn with a great Allomantic Strenght and the others are useful reserve of Feruchemical Charge to actively use the Feruchemical power gained from the Nicrosilmind. Notice that you have to still ingest Metals to use the Allomantic Powers gained with from the Nicrosilmind. But you can't gain abilities that someone don't actually put in the NicrosilMind.

There are only 9343 Km between me and the Utah -
Probably I don't understand what you mean, I don't want to reply with something random answer to you

Like everyone else... if he has his attention on the area where you are... he probably notices you. But Shards can't divide their attention everywhere.

The reason of the Ruin&Preservation's Metal-Blind is about Metal as the Scadrial's Focus. Therefore is a Gateway for Investiture...This mean that in the Cognitive Realm the Metal glows and made impossible to entities from the Scadrial's Cognitive Realm to read thing write on metal (not only Ruin & Preservation)... But they "see" the metal, it just glow bright. In the same way every Investiture's source.. for example an Human being with his Soul glows in the Cognitive Realm... Much more if the Human is a Magic User.
-
As far as we saw the Nicrosil may be used to store/tap Innate Investiture alone...it's possible there are other possibilities for this metals but the books seems to disprove it. For example Wax&Marari (when they used the Bands ang gain a lot of Metallic Abilities) need still metals to burn for their Allomancy.
-
I think we have direct Sanderson's quote about her as Author but none wrote actual on any book
-
Yes but... how tapping Identity help you to craft Medallion Tech ?
-
ok after a long night of Sleep I solved the problem I made and Wax and Marari can't be Sliver at the end of the book. Of course I will explain the reason but there are spoiler from Stormlight and Warbreaker:

theory Theory: Roshar's Afterlife and the Tranquiline Halls
Yata replied to FeatherWriter's topic in Stormlight Archive
@FeatherWriter I don't know if Odium may push itself on Roshar's Cognitive Realm, while He is trapped on Braize. Anyway I think Odium through his Unmade (that at the moment I don't remeber the name) uses the time of recent deadmen in the Cognitive to exploit them (and their Soul/Investiture) to fuel his Future Sight. The Body is still linked with the Mind& Soul and while the Unmade feeds of the soul, the body recive a feedback of the vision. I don't think Odium forces have other uses for the deadmen. And I read in some previous post that maybe The Radiant broke their Oath to De-Invest themself and go Beyond. But this don't make sense. You may resist to the Beyond's call longer if you are invested (and forever if you are a Sliver) but also in this cases...You may simply decide to go Beyond also if you may resist... Killing your partner for this is quite foolness. It's possible the opposite (but I don't think), the Radiants wanted to be more Invested and able to resist the Beyond's call longer. They broke their Oath, killing the Spren's Mind because some of the Spren remained in them when the Bonds were broken and they have more Investiture in them.- 37 replies

It have to be more than that. If an Allomancer travels on Roshar and gently ask to a Soulcaster to create some Steel from Crem for him. The result aren't Tanavastium (if Stormlight is from Honor), Romancium (if are both of H&C) or Adonalsiumsium (if it come to Adonalsium) but simple Steel (if the Soulcaster isn't drunk). The GodMetals have to be something different than simply "is made by my investiture" what this difference may be I really don't know... It can't be a matter of power's density or the GodMetal would be Investiture's resistant and can't be only the source of power or every bit of metal on Scadrial would be Harmonium Until now I think the better explaination is about their ability to channel a specific amount of Shard's Power separate from the whole. If you thinked about Ruin can't reclame his stolen power from the Pits themself and of course we know there was some of his Investiture doesn't not cristallizate in Atium. He needed the Atium to absorb/access his own Investiture.
