  1. I have some problem to generate a new model on Taldain's magic who may works for both Dayside and Darkside Dayside only: But unless the DarkSide's Humans have a fungi infestation inside them I can't push this model on Darkside's informations
  2. Like randuir said The correlation Matter-Energy is proved also our real world. Einstein is famous most for his famous E=mc^2. And just to say we saw this every day because the Nuclear fusion that allow the Star to burn works with this concept. Anyway in the Cosmere this relation Matter-Energy develop a now member, the Investiture... Investiture may becaome matter or energy (and probably the origin of Cosmere it's just Adonalsium who converted some of his Investiture in all the Matter and Energy of the Universe).. This mean for example that when an Allomancer burns a metal and the metal is destroied.. the Investiture who made the metal simply returns to its source (a Shard, ec..)
  3. This is actually mean that Sunlight is Invested on Taldain, I have to rethink abou Taldain's Magic at all. Thanks for the Information
  4. Spren may be produced, but they don't reproduce. There isn't something like "Spren made new Spren" (reprodution) but "Something made new Spren" (produced). The Spren are Splinters, and every Splinter is Investiture who develop sentience. On Roshar many Spren was lost during the Recreance but a lot of them was created by Honor's Splintering.
  5. I strong disagree with that. The Overmastery seems to be extremely unrelated to emotional condition of the Sand Master... Kenton itself overmastered twice in the novel, in the battle's heart and in a calm boat travel, his mental status is very different in the two cases. We may use it to develop a pattern. It's also stated that Overmastery (as a Sand Master's taboo) is a Mastrel's lie to mantain their quite divine status in the organization. PS: This made me think, if the Mastrel didn't act as jerks for their own power's hungry... How powerful would be their organization ?
  6. Or simply they don't know they can't eat Human...Other than Human whatever mobile being is food to them... A Sandling who eats an human dies and he can't learn to not eat them. It's quite impossible to them discover safety to not eat humans.

    Sky Colors

They would be the real version of every advertisings of toothpastes
  8. As far as I remember the only beings stable in the Spiritual are the Shards...the only mortal that saw the Spiritual are Mortal pushed (for a while) in the Spiritual through magic or shards
  9. @king of nowhere it seems we see the problem in different ways...Maybe I am right, or maybe I am wrong. But to me a "random event" in the timeline is like any other event. It's like if a famous cat is released from his pretty box and he is fine. Then I return to 2 days before and say "the cat is alive". The event who main kills the cat is a random event but I have a sure anser to the question... Of course in the example I used a long time, but it's the same thing if I see into the box and then I jump back of a couple of seconds to inform (I know that this example isn't perfect because if the cat is dead I can't know when he died).
  10. Like Eki said just Ruin and Preservation reside on Scadrial (also if atcually the main part of a Shard's power is in the Spiritual Realm and therefore everywhere). It's impossible to another Shard to be there or to be more precise, to be heavy Invested on Scadrial without Ruin and Preservation (or Harmony) notice it.
  11. I don't know, to me the random idea can't work. Atium isn't mind reading where if I made something without thinking of it, my enemy can't avoid it. Atium is (extremely limited) future sight...A Seer may see every shoot with precision a second before it starts. The random factor means nothing in this case. it's like (Very Cosmereless example) if some part of the Seer's mind is in the future and see the attack already shot...then warn the rest of the Mind.
  12. We have a WoB (I am trying to find it) who say that Allomancer aren't high Invested while they don't burn metals, but became high Invested when they began to burn metal. It may seems OT but Lerasium as Atium is a GodMetal and this WoB shows us how the Preservation's Godmetal doesn't contain an high Investiture who is then trasferred to the Human who burn it. But it only provide a way to rewrite Connections (I know that Connections are made by raw Investiture but seems this kind of Investiture may be "spawn" from nothing or provided free from some unknown source, after all Human made new Connection for their whole life) PS: Feldi don't worry, I know it's hard to explain your though in a foreign language... I have problem with this every time
  13. Sure I may be wrong but more than Investiture's Inferference I think that would be hard because the "Soul crack" in a Nalthisian's Soul would be already filled by their extra Investiture and in the case of someone with the Royal Locks this mean also an Endowment's Splinter (that it's like to be already bonded with something else). But in general it's like to find an Allomancer elegible to become a KR, his cracks in the Soul would be already filled by Preservation's Power and they would not be used as door to the guy's soul for a Splinter who want to bond it. But of course I may be wrong
  14. I think an Invested Object will have an Atium Shadow. After all we saw for the whole time Human's Atium-Shadow (Invested being through their soul) and When Vin fights an Inquisitor, the Inquisitor generates Atium Shadow (an Allomancer that burns Metal became more Invested than a Standard Scadrialan)... She saw also the Inquisitor's Spike in the Atium Shadow... Another Invested Object. I have to search if there are references to a TLR's Atium-Shadow...This would be a clear and sure proof
  15. The Spren don't reproduce at all. Probably they have genders because they are born by the influence of creatures who has genders (Human and other animals perceptions). Edit: Eki was faster than me XD
  16. Allomancers aren't more invested than regular Scadrialian when they don't burn metals. This to say that Lerasium doesn't "made you more Invested". When you burn it. It simply active his effect, its effect is "rewrite Spiritweb" and without specific istruction to default it strenghten the guy's Connection to Preservation. As a side effect you become a Mistborn.
  17. You have right I forgot Jasnah and Ivory, she seems not interesting in men but it's spren is male. Sam Script, I am Italian
  18. I have to be honest, there is a fact that to me seems to disprove the Cognitive Sun=Beyond (and it's not the methapor of Leras about the three Realms). If the Sun is a manifestation of the Beyond. The Strong pull of the Beyond will have a some kind of source (the sun) but instead the Beyond's pull seems to come from elsewhere. Of course this isn't a proof but if we puts together this with other little clue... To me the Sun of the Beyond becomes less likely
  19. Yes a Sandling dies if eats an Human. Probably some very huge sandling may survive with severe wounds because the Water is still in a periferical area of his body.
  20. There is a WoB about this: Brandon said that the pairing human-spren is based by Human's preference but it's not a codificated rule. For example Renarin bonded Glys (a male spren so far we know) but we have no clue about Renarin as gay. EDIT: I am not english therefore if I wrote some word that it's not used in the righ context, I am sorry... It's a delicate topic and I don't want to insult someone
  21. Actually no, the power in the Metallic Arts comes from somewhere else and the Metal simply works as limiter/converter: - Allomancy: You drain investiture for Preservation using the Metal as gateway/limitator. Passing though the Metal'structure trasform Preservation's Investiture in the specific power (coppercloud or Steelpush for example). - Feruchemy: You convert energy/matter to Investiture packed inside metal. The Metal's strucure limits what you may store there. - Hemalurgy: Of course a Spike's charge comes from some unlucky guy and the Metal's structure limits what kind of Spirit Web may keep. In all three cases as you may see the metal has not intrinsic Investiture but work always with outer sources. Of course this may be see without a long explaination with the fact that foreign Metals work with Allomancy on Scadrial and in the rest of Cosmere.
  22. Well Connection is a core part of Cosmere's Realmatic Theory and it is very important in many many cases. Just to be more clear. It isn't Medallion Tech to be similar to Soul Forgery. It's a Ferring Ability to have core working similar to Soul Forgery.. Every Durallumin Ferring (Connector) or Full Feruchemist may do this (but in W&W's Era no Connector discovered it, probably because they live in a very limited area). Another example of Connections change by magic, it's the Lerasium. The Allomantic lerasium's power is to "rewrite your Spiritweb", becoming a Mistborn it's just a default outcome when you don't try to perfore anything while you burn it (because to default the Lerasium rewrite your Connection to Preservation more strong)
  23. But the tiny Endowment's Splinter inside her would make hard to her to bond/merge with any kind of Spren. Probably every Nalthisian with at least a single Breah will be impossible to bond for a Spren, after all the Spren need crack in the Soul and the Breath is quite an upper layer for a Soul. But of course a Drab would be a fertile field for a Spren.
  24. Like @Oversleep said a random attack isn't more complex for an Atium's user to avoid/predict... It would leave a precise and single Atium Shadow. So far as we saw the only way to create a new Atium Shadow (without using magic) it's to be fast enough to react to the Atium's user action (and it's extremely difficoult to performe). The Sequence is this: 1) Atium's user see through your Atium's Shadow what you will do and made something 2) You see his action and react to that, your Atium's Shadow change to reflect your new next move 3) If you do this fast enough and you have in reach the Atium's user. He would be uncapable to decode the new shadow in time. Insteed for a Seer's PoV a random attack is just an attack with a precise pattern... It doesn't mind if the attacker himself doesn't know it. It's a statick attack and may be annunced by Atium's Shadow like any other standard attack. In few words, The only way to overcome Atium (without exploit an ultimate helpless situation) is to take your reaction time up and react as fast as you can at the Atium's user moves.
  25. The Anti-Stick rules PS: I have to thank you, I am listening your readings to improve my English's Listening... Very useful and very weird to hear how a native language's reader pronunces the name of characters ;-)
