  1. Hoid may be mentioned in the book, but we can't be sure if he is the source of White Fox's legends
  2. Becausa a Sandling may be hit by the water also in not vital part... They don't need to bite the vines. But I respect your point ;-)
  3. To be Honest I always thought that mankind on Roshar were taken there I can't be sure if whatever they came... they was created by Honor or another Shard
  4. For example Bavadin didn't take him a drink when promised... And Tanavast saw Hoid sad and decided to buy something to our favorite worldhopper
  5. There Irali's history is about multiple exodus and it's a common theory they comes from other Shardworld. Someone noticed also another cool think about Ym's Story. If you take the Ten Essences chart you may easly notice how the forth essence "Lucentia" (light) has as body Focus the eyes... It's a strong correlation with Roshar's Stormlight and Surgebinder's eyes. This detail began a theory about the Ten Essences chart talked about the ten Shardworlds and their magical features. I asked this to mister sanderson: This mean that in their origin the Roshar's philosophers have at least some Cosmere's knowledge... They may made error but probably there are good parts in them. Returning to your question (i just checked on the web because my book isn't in english) Ym talked about "fourth land"/"seventh land" and the seventh land is : Zircon Tallow Oil All oils Wise Careful Someone think it would be Yolen but it's hard to say.
  6. For example notice how Vasher refers to Clod in the book. And we knows Vasher has no problems with Lifeless in general (the Squirrel or the development of new kinds of liveless).... It's just uncomfortable with Clod
  7. Pre-Reod Elantrians knowed a lot of Realmatic but in the end, the picture may be simple a rapresentation of Worldhopping through the Perpendicularity.
  8. If He was a Radiant (and to be honest I really doubt it because Pattern have to know it) with control of his Surges. He would have know how important Stormlight (and his Healing) is to a Surgebinder. He would never let something slow as poison to kill him. And if I don't remember wrong, the Soulcaster was used by another man, the Davar's Butler
  9. Yep, the book have a lot of clue about... And we have also WoBs that confirmed that things. Clod is an experiment to see if you can turn a Returned to a Lifeless and in the end try to recover an Asset. You may see in the book that Clod has more sentience than the average lifeless, this is made in large part because He recived a lot of Breath just before dies (the Vasher's trick) and probably those Breath (or a part of them) were stored in the Corpe instead of vanish at the death. When he was turned in a Lifeless He manage to stay closer to his former self thanks to Vasher's Breath (and maybe his nature as Returned but I don't think)
  10. Like @Pathfinder said it's just a matter of time, and until the Sandling are more smart then they seems... I find unlikely they may propagate the informations. With the Vines they have some kind of possibilities... after all a Sandling may damage a Vine when he pass near to it.. sense the water (or maybe be a little damaged) and remember the Fear of the Vines. With an Human it's more a one shot... If you eat one of them, you will find a lot of blood in your System and you will probably die.
  11. It would be Windrunner and Skybreaker's Sport.... Dodgeball with a Moon
  12. A star burns as fuel the lightest element it has. At the beginning it burns Hydrogen, then Helium and then go further with the next element when the previous ends. A lesser star will stop at the iron, but bigger/hotter one may keeps its Nuclear Fusion.... Any heavier elements comes from "rare" explosions called Supernovas (rare but with Billions of billions of Star...there were a lot of Supernovas) I can't say how much time it took to began to create metals also because different star burns at different rate...but our sun is 5 billions of years old and it burns still hydrogen. From another 5 billions of years it would reachs its own end stopping his Nuclear Fusion to the iron

    Out of Breath

There will be probably some epidemies and the people would have an hard time to survive. But someone will survive and the next generation will be born with their Standard Breath. But Endowment would have for some time unable to act as He/She did. He/she can't return someone without a Breath and a Returned would have no way to sustain itself (but there are probably mission who may be completed in less then 7 days).
  14. Understood But I think they would not discharge the guns... after all if you think to the real world. The guns have a lot of pros, and when the Aluminium will became cheap. The magic wuold be really less useful
  15. Say that to Susebron XD
  16. With something it have to scale... Or a Surgebinder may lift a fortress with the same effort He lifts a Lopen
  17. I don't want to disprove this theory, but I think it may be relevant. It's possible that Shallan can't really interact with Crew's Cognitive Shadows just because she is only projected in the Cognitive and she is not fully in the Cognitive. If I don't remember wrong there are references to some differences with her teacher's delete scene.
  18. In the Stormlight's Letters Hoid and Frost talked about Rayse's crimes/murders and they mention Aona, Skai and Tanavast. They didn't talk about the fourth Shard he Splintered. Do they not know of this event or simply do they not care about those Shard-Vessel ?
  19. The Beyond isn't the Spiritual Realm... The Beyond is a place beyond the 3 Realms. We know something about the Spiritual Realm and we also saw them a few times because to a certain extent is reachable... The Beyond is mistery also for some Ascendend being like Harmony (but we don't know if it's the same for the other Shards)
  20. It may be a recent development from them as indipendant scholar. But maybe the Artifabrian comunity discovered this long time ago (or the Heralds teach it to the humans long time ago)
  21. I think the Radiants in the vision were all complete Radiant Knight with 5 Oaths. Anyway just a couple of Orders may have decided to put their Shards in others hand... Maybe the other 7 Orders didn't leave their Blade and Plate where someone may easy find them (also putted them in a iron box and throwned in the sea. Not to mention that a Plate or Blade may be covered of Crem pretty fast if they are not finded in a couple of years.
  22. It was already considerated...But you have to be a lot of faster than the Atium-User to overcome it. Just be a bit faster isn't enough.... Probably a Seer may manage a pewterarm who flares his Pewter.
  23. But the practice guards hardly are made by Aluminium
  24. You have right, but like I said Scadrial is quite a Special case, It's made by Preservation & Ruin. They may have designed it in a way to fit whaterver they want from a Realmatic point of view... I am not saying that Leras actually designed Scadrial to have the number 16 builded in the magics but he probably could did it.
  25. It needs a gem cutted in a specific way (different kind of Spren need differnt kind of cut) and then the gem may work as a capture device... I am unsure about how this works... Maybe the Spren is attracted by the gem, like some kind of "perfect home" or maybe you need luck and the spren have to pass through the gem for its own
