  1. Dang, so many posts already. Not a good time to go inactive. Anyways, I've mostly read things up till now(skimmed the Night Turn, because it's a Night Turn), but I'd like to go over things a little more closely before placing a vote. With regards to DC heiring, I think the fact that he did so so early doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, because it takes away even the threat of his vote, but I don't think it's that big of a deal really, since it's so early in the game, and making an Heir does make sense. If I had been available earlier in the game, I probably would have mentioned my stance on kill roles killing early(which is that I'd rather they not kill this early), but oh well... Elbereth, are you saying you think it's more likely the Ghostbloods started with a Shardblade rather than a Grandbow? Because I would have to disagree with that. I believe it was Kas who mentioned earlier that it's a goal of the Ghostbloods to get a Shardblade, so along with the fact that the Shardblade killed an inactive and the Grandbow killed someone who's typically pretty active, my guess for a second Ghostblood kill would be the Grandbow, if one of them was a Ghostblood kill at all(which, isn't necessarily what happened here).
  2. I'm not sure I really agree with that. I understand what you're saying, but because him and Mailliw know each other in RL, I'm not sure he wouldn't kill him even if he was getting information from him, simply because Mailliw might be able to spot him if he was an eliminator. Maybe that's not the case here, but I wouldn't say he's cleared because Mailliw as killed. Strawman, why bandwagon? That's not very helpful.
  3. I started with 1 Pewter and stored 1 since. I think having a good amount of players voting is necessary regardless of whether there's vote manipulation roles/items or not. Otherwise the lynch doesn't have as much power behind it, because it's decided very late into a Cycle, and not many players comment on it. That doesn't mean we have to pile onto one player. Just that we need more opinions on more players.
  4. All information should be shared? In the thread? Or just shared in one way or another? Because it sounds like you're saying it should be in the thread, which I don't agree with. If a player is going to be lynched or there's information that might lead to a player being lynched, then yes, reveal it, because it's important that players know so they can better decide about that player, but if it's information that could get a player killed if the eliminators knew about it, then I don't think that player would appreciate having their sensitive information revealed to everyone. There was already 3 players that knew I have Pewter that I know of. You(scanned me), Luckat(I'd told Mark, who apparently told her) and Burnt(I told her I'd started with it, but not that I'd stored it). Well, now everyone knows it. But anyways, I didn't really see any reason for Luckat to reveal that in the thread, given a couple players already knew about me, and I figure if Luckat has someone or more than just one player she trusts, the info will be in capable enough hands. It might be a good idea to say who has 2 charges of Pewter, just so we're aware of who has that power. I have a slight suspicion on Burnt. It's mostly gut. She just seems evil to me. Anybody else gonna vote? It's already about halfway through this Cycle, so we should probably get on with it.
  5. Luckat, I think it's mostly up to you about what information you reveal. If you think the information is relevant to right now, then you might want to reveal it(if not all of it, at least the information you think may be important to be widely known). But if you have a plan for making certain the information reaches the thread if necessary, then I think holding on to the information and not letting the eliminators get it is a good idea.
  6. Poor Arraenae. She still has yet to survive a full game. Maybe next time! Anyways, I'm gonna put my vote on Strawman. He's usually much more talkative than he's been. His random vote on me last Cycle isn't really out of the norm, but other than that, I don't think he's posted anything. And I also agree with luckat that landslides probably benefit the village more than eliminators, so storing Iron doesn't really seem like an eliminator thing to do, unless they're just trying to not get caught in a landslide. In LG17, even though inactivity kinda hindered the usage of the mission, we were able to narrow down on the last 2 Traitors because of a mission(which was basically a Landslide, except with 4 players, and 1 players would choose those 4 players each Night Turn). So once a couple landslides have happened, and if we pay attention to online times and such, we might be able to narrow down our suspect list a good amount, which, since there's no real "seeker/scanner" role, could end up being really helpful, especially in the later stages of the game.
  7. Well, I'm not totally sure about this, but I think SilverDragon is the last Spiked. If not, then I think it's Araris, and we'll see what we have to do in that situation(if he really does have lerasium, then I think the game would be pretty much over for whatever side he's on anyways).
  8. Yes, I believe Rae scanned a player who had burned Feruchemical iron on the first Action of the game, and SD is claiming Feruchemical iron, so that's how he got "cleared." I didn't every tell him though, just in case he wasn't the only one with Feruchemical iron, and because he told me he had a charged spike, so I figured it would be better if less players knew about Rae's power. So as far as I can tell, here's how it shapes up: Lopen - cleared by Rae(she scanned my Allomantic bendalloy) Burnt - cleared by Rae(she scanned her Feruchemical zinc) Mark - cleared by Burnt(Burnt scanned him with Feruchemical zinc) SD - cleared by Rae(she scanned his Feruchemical iron) Araris - never been cleared I believe the last Spiked is either SD or Araris. I'm not sure I believe Araris claim of him having 2 beads of Lerasium. That seems like it would be extremely unlikely. (Especially since I've had so much difficulty finding anything at all...) Anyways, we could lynch him to check it(because he'd have lynch protection if it's true). If he is the last Spiked, it could be some sort of ploy. I'm not sure to what end it would be for, but it doesn't sound right to me. In SD's case, he told me he spiked himself with the Spike he killed DC with(a gold Spike, so it was charged), but didn't get his alignment changed(well, obviously that's what he told me ).
  9. Well, I've advocated that village kill roles not kill right away, because there's not much to go on, and so you'd probably just do more harm than good. But once it's a Cycle or 2 or 3 into the game, than if they have a good suspicion, go for it. They have the role for that very purpose and to never use it and to ask that they never use it wouldn't be fun. I'm usually more of a cowardcareful player, so when I got the kill role in MR12, I didn't let anyone know about it until late game and used it to kill the last player we needed to kill, rather than risk killing one of my teammates. Phatt does bring up a good point though, that players can learn who attacked them with Pewter, so I can understand advocating that no village players use Pewter(at least for now).
  10. Wow, 2 votes before I even post... Anyways, my name, Talion, is from a LoTR game called The Shadow of Mordor, so I think it's very fitting that I'm the GM's nephew! Only one thing I want to comment on right now, and that is that I don't think no one should use Pewter. It's just like a village kill role and we don't tell them to never kill anyone. Why only let the eliminators use it? I don't tend to be trigger happy like some players...but it can be a useful tool.
  11. Something that I hadn't really thought about until now, but the Hazecrusher weilder killed 3 players and so they got whatever items those players had. I don't know what items Aman, Elodin and Clanky had, if any. But it might be a good idea to tell someone what items you've got so that if you are a Hazecrusher victim, we'll know what item they got from you. I'm cleared and out in the open cleared, so if you want, you can tell me and I'll pass it along to the remnants of our cleared group.
  12. Lucky Spiked, getting the Hazecrusher... It sucks that they managed to kill 3 players too. I'm gonna think about some things, do some calculations and see what we should do now. Obviously, I'd like to lynch them before they call kill anymore of us, but I'm not really sure who it is at this point. Any ideas? STINK, how about you? Are you Spiked? You've been extremely quiet this game.
