  1. Sigh. Well I can't say I think this is a good move DC. I don't have the time right now, but I'm gonna go through everything these 2 have done, and then I'll decide where to place my vote. I thought DC was village because of his activity this game, but I really don't like this duel and the way he's gone after Wilson for seemingly nothing. This kills lynch discussion by making us focus on 2 players. I was hoping we could have a much better Day Turn this Cycle, but I guess this way players will be more likely to actually vote? DC, could you lay out your case for why you're so suspicious of Wilson? Edit: Actually El, because Orloks role Action was redirected to himself on N1, anyone who claims to have received an Artifabrian item on N1 would have no reason to be afraid to reveal if they're village.
  2. So Elkanah wasn't the only thief? Great. Well, as long as the remaining thief doesn't cause too much trouble, I don't think I'd view him as a direct enemy. As far as the Grandbow kills go, I don't really know what to think. I still believe that whoever killed Orlok is a Noble, but it's impossible to tell who that specific player attacked this time. I do think it's interesting that there was not only 1 extra Grandbow attacks, but 2. I would hope that at least one of them was created by an Artifabrian though, because 3 Grandbows(1 of whom is most definitely Noble, and probably at least 2 of the attacks were made by Nobles, since I doubt a Ghostblood Grandbow archer would hold off on attacking for this long) and a Shardblade(possibly in the hands of the Ghostbloods now) sound like they would create a lot of trouble. Even if we assume that only 1 of them is evil, or even none of them, village kill roles can really shorten the game, which I'm not personally a fan of, because the longer the game goes, the more information the village can collect. But hey, that's only my opinion. Seonid, I don't know. He mentioned earlier that he thought my playstyle was similar to my playstyle in MR13(where we were both eliminators), but then said he went back through my posts and said he was less suspicious of me, but still suspicious some(or something along the lines of that). That's as much as he ever said about me I think, before now. Glad to have you joining us. With the death of 2 Nobles and 1 player that is not a Ghostblood(so...a Thief ), we need to have as many players as possible active and participating in discussion. In that vein of thought, I'll put a vote on Trelagist. You seem to be posting very small posts, and even in those posts, you haven't mentioned much in terms of suspicions/trusts/or opinions.
  3. He's referencing QF14, in which Alvron went around stabbing inactives(whoever didn't post during the Cycle was killed without mercy(he ended up killing 3 eliminators this way)). The Grandbow kills don't fit that description though. The first Shardblade kill was sorta similar I guess, in that phattemer hadn't posted(very much, if at all, I can't remember), but the Grandbow kills have both been on active players. Also, a word of advice, don't try to figure out who has a kill item in the thread. Not only is there a thief, but it's not information we want out in the open.
  4. To comment on the comment you're commenting on, I think a better way to word it would be that I've never been able to read you very good. Because the times I did have a good read on you(or at least thought I did) were incorrect. (So much analysis for MR10. So much wrongness... ) It's crazy to think I'm cool? Then I'm probably doing something wrong... (j/k, I know what you mean thanks)
  5. Great work team! It was a pleasure killing with you! Elbereth, thanks for running the game! I enjoyed every write-up! My thoughts on the game: If the village had used Bronze a lot, our team would probably have gotten crushed, or at least a couple of us would have surely been lynched/killed. We made the plan to store a bunch of Pewter to get extra kills, and with how the village viewed storing Pewter(no thanks to phatt! ), pretty much any Action that players saw us doing would have been suspicious(excluding tapping Brass of course). Our only Actions were storing/tapping Pewter, phatt sending in the group kill and all of us using Brass when needed, so that would have resulted in Bronze getting readings of: "You saw nothing."(when we tapped Pewter or sent in the group kill - which would result in the player being scanned getting lynched, most likely) "You sensed Pewter."(when we stored Pewter, which DC actually caught me doing on C1 - which would at the least cause a lot of suspicion)) or You sensed Brass." So I think we made a pretty big gamble, but I'm glad it payed off so well!
  6. Wow. Well then I think you're doing a pretty good job for it being your first game! And I think that actually makes me even less suspicious of you(assuming you're telling the truth, which I think you are), since in my first game, I pretty much followed other players opinions for my votes for the first few cycles. Anyways, I don't have a whole lot of reads so far. It kinda feels like we've been focusing on a few players, which lets other players just kind of slide along without posting a whole lot. My reads so far: Villager-y: Nyali(I'm leaning village. She's posting a lot, and her posts seem pretty helpful. Her interactions with Orlok are also another point in her favor. Since this is her first game here, she could be an eliminator just distancing herself from a teammate, but that's not really the feeling I get from her.) Joe(Mostly gut, since I was evil with him in MR13, but I also remember he was the third vote on Strawman, right after Orlok, so my thoughts are that if LUNA is evil, he may be too, but if she's good, than I think that would make me lean village for him as well, because I wouldn't think that 2 eliminators would vote back to back like that on D1.) DC(Even with all this stuff about him and Wilson arguing, he has been a lot more active this game than previous ones, which I view as more village than eliminator, since in LG18 and LG19, he was an eliminator and very quiet in the thread(note: he was pretty quiet in both docs as well).) Neutral: Just about everyone else sadly. I saw that Wilson put Macen, Zas and Twei on her "villagery" reads, and at first I kind of agreed with Twei, but I remember thinking Twei seemed good in MR10, so that made me a little more hesitant to read her as such. Macen, I don't know, I don't really have much of an opinion on. He seems to think somethings up with Kas, but I don't see it(Wilson agrees with Macen on this, which may be a point for which she thinks Macen is more villagery). With Zas, he's put up some helpful posts I think, but I haven't seen him around much in the later parts of this Cycle, and I seem to remember him saying he was gonna post more(or wanted to at least) so I'd like to hear a little more from him. Elbereth...I have trouble reading. As a rule, I think she's an eliminator, then she's not. So, yeah, those times have kind of stopped me from getting any good read on her. As of right now, she's still very much neutral to me. Burnt, not much read on her, since she's her usual quiet thread self. I don't remember very many posts from Elkanah, Trelagist, Yafeshan, Kynedath(stated RL reasons), Sheep(kinda), Alv, Mark(kinda) and Seonid of course(though he should be active soon right?). Stink is kind of in the same situation, but he's said he was gonna do some analysis of some players, so that's cool. Wilson, I also have a lot of trouble reading. If there is an eliminator in this DC/Wilson thing, I'd lean towards her being it, but it might just be conflicting playstyles like Twei mentions. Kas, like I said, other players have stated that they feel he's a little bit off, but I'm not really sure. I've never been a villager against an evil Kas, so I'm not sure I'd be able to pick him out if he is evil. LUNA, again, not sure about her. I think Nyali brings up some good points about her, but I thought I brought up good points about her in LG17, and then she went was a villager(much to my dismay, because I got her lynched). If I was pressed to vote, I think I'd go with either LUNA(her involvement with Orlok, as well as lynching SD like she did) or Trelagist(due to lurkiness), but I don't think I'm comfortable lynching either of them at this point. My brain tends to panic near the end of Cycles/Turns, so I usually try my best not to get into crucial situations this late, as I have failed horribly at such times.
  7. Thanks for responding! AliasSheep. I don't think I'm suspicious enough to lynch you, so I'll remove my vote. Are you allowed to pull the newness card? I think that depends on if you're new to the game of mafia/werewolves/whatever else this game might be called, rather than your newness to this forum. So I can't say I'm qualified to say one way or the other really. But from your posts alone, I don't think you sound like a brand new player to these kinds of games. I really think whoever killed Orlok is not a GB. El brings up the point that it could have been redirected, but I'm not sure that that's very likely(probably more likely than an eliminator killing one of their own though). That would mean that someone redirected a T1A Action, and really, if you can specify that you want to redirect the GB kill, I think that's what the Soulcasters would be doing(unless they didn't know it was possible). Argh, wanted to put up a more detailed post, but have to go now. Will be back in about an hour. Sorry.
  8. Well, I haven't had a chance to go through the thread like I really want to yet, and I don't think I'm gonna be able to tonight either. I'm extremely tired, so I don't have the energy to go through however many posts there are, and then try to make sense of it. Maybe tomorrow? I'm gonna put my vote on AliasSheep for his vote on DC last Cycle, which to me seemed like he was just following a popular opinion at the time, and because he hasn't posted yet this Cycle I don't think. Hopefully he'll respond, but even if he doesn't, and I'm able to go through the thread tomorrow, this vote may change if I see a more likely suspect for GB(I thought about voting on Burnt just for fun, but I figured I'd leave her be...for now! (Note: not saying I'm suspicious of her, just messing with her a little.)).
  9. I've somewhat struggled to keep up with this game honestly. Between playing LG19 and MR13, along with trying to keep up with the Championship, I haven't had as much time as usual to keep up with the thread(there's been a lot more posting in this game than is usual). That being said, those games are over(Championship game isn't, but I won't be following as closely now...), so expect more from me(whether you get it or not though... ). I generally try to talk as much as possible with experienced players in every game I play. And I'm not sure what you mean with the comment about PM's. Why is asking for a PM suspicious? The Soulcaster is one of the most powerful items in this game, especially if you have a lot of information. So of course I want to know who will get it.
  10. I skimmed through Joe's posts so far in the game, and nothing leaps out to me as being very suspicious. I agreed with most of what he's said so far I think. The only thing I noticed is that could be a bit suspicious is I don't think he participated in the lynch at all last Day Turn. So, eh, I'm still neutral on him. There was a lot of no voting going on last Day Turn. Doesn't excuse him specifically, but I don't think it's necessarily an evil thing to do. Edit: Nyali, what were your reasons for suspecting him?
  11. Bored villager? Or an eliminator who knows his time is up? And how exactly does lynching Macen give us more info? What info is that exactly? He's admitted to being inactive for quite a bit of the game which means less interactions with other players. As for my vote with little explanation, if you'll notice, I posted that very late last night(4:30am), so I wasn't up for typing up an "essay" on why I was voting on Strawman(I mean, you guys have already stated most of the evidence against him anyways). To be clear, bandwagoning isn't something I typically do, but in a situation where the eliminators could overpower the lynch, I will not only add my vote to a bandwagon I agree with, but I'll ask that everyone else do the same(see: MR12 and MR10 for examples). Also, with you and phatt trying to pull the lynch off of Strawman, any doubt I had for voting on strawman is gone now. He isn't even defending himself, which I don't see as a villager thing to do at all.
  12. Is this a reveal? Strawman. -------------- As Talion had watched the Germinating Mushroom somehow force Naurvessa off the cliff face, he had a sinking feeling he'd made a huge mistake in accusing her. Looking over the edge to see where she'd fallen, he could see her body twitch slightly, then go still down below. Eventually, he forced himself to go to his Aunt Tindome and ask after her. Not looking at the bodies being moved aside from the path, Talion neared Tindome. "Death can be a horrible thing," Tindome said as Talion approached. "I didn't know Naurvessa very well, but even as she was dying, even as she was in so much pain, she claimed innocence to me with her final words." "Maybe she's found peace now," Talion spoke softly, as if to himself rather than Tindome. "Until Alendi safely reaches the Well, I doubt we'll have any peace ourselves. Safely. That's the trick isn't it?" he mumbled as he turned away. Deep in his own thoughts, Talion began to wander aimlessly around the camp, the image of Naurvessa's disfigured body haunting his thoughts. I have to push on. Even now, with the little of us that are left, all we can do is push on.
  13. What makes you say that? I mean, sure there were 4 beads of Lerasium found, a Warhammer of Destruction used and 3 conversions, but it was probably all part of the GM's elaborate schemes! Oh, and remind me to never sign up for a game that has "Spiked" as an alignment. I will undoubtedly be lynched after 48 hours of being Spiked, regardless of circumstance.
  14. Hah! Nice, Araris. I was hoping you'd manage it. This game was so crazy. I somehow ended up on the winning side. I guess I'm not quite as unlucky as I thought. Even though I didn't get to use it, I'm glad I was able to finally find an item. Thanks for running the game GM's! I had a blast even with my unluckiness.
  15. My opinion on Elodin: I'm not very suspicious of him. From what I've gathered of his playstyle(I think he's played about 6 games here), as an eliminator, he would agree with a lot of other players posts, rather than stating his own thoughts/opinions(he'd say something like "I agree with [so and so]"), and his voting was kind of bandwagonish(just, went along with the top current thread suspicion). That was his first game here I think(QF13?), and I don't think he's been an eliminator after that. My point is that his posts so far in this game don't strike me as similar to his posts in his one eliminator game. And since it's so late in the Cycle and I don't have any strong suspicions for those with 1 vote on them, I'm gonna leave my vote on SD. He still hasn't responded to me.
  16. Oh, sorry, I see what you meant now. Still don't necessarily agree though. I mean, I could understand maybe someone got a kill item and decided to go vigilante, but 2 players doing it on N1 seems a bit much to me. Maybe they're both villagers, but I'm leaning towards one of them being evil. My guess would be the Grandbow player, because I don't understand why they'd kill Hellscythe(phatt, I can almost understand, because he goes inactive sometimes, so it might have been an inactive kill, much like what Alv did in QF14...that killed 3 of my buddies... ), but Alv makes a good point that we shouldn't put it past Mailliw to have given the Ghostbloods a Shardblade. Well Alv said he had a PM, so maybe whoever made that one can make some more with more players? Along with Wilson for 1 Cycle, maybe we can have some good communication this upcoming Night. (I'd like some PM's if you don't mind Wilson and mystery PM person! ) I don't think nobles killing for items is a good justification at this point in the game. Maybe once we know what the Ghostbloods have, so if we find someone with that item, we can kill them, but right now it's just a shot in the dark. I think that could actually make some sense, but Kas brings up a good point about their win con, so I'd like to hear from Mailliw about this. @Kas, about using kill role as a second lynch. We did do this in LG15b, but it wasn't terribly effective. Still, it may be a good idea just to gather more opinions from players, as well as test out the kill roles to see if they follow(loosely) what we suggest, which could give us more of an indication on their alignment. So I'm cool with this idea! I don't have any suggestions at this point though. Hey SilverDragon, you haven't been very actively posting. Any thoughts on our current situation? Any suspects?
  17. Oh man, I helped this massacre happen. Burnt, so sorry about that. I'll do some RP tomorrow(when it's not so late and I'm not so tired) to try and atone for what I've done. Also apologies to Yafeshan, for I killed him with my 2 charges of Pewter. His voting patterns were, imo, very suspicious, and the fact that he'd stored Zinc twice(he told me so about a Cycle ago) didn't make much sense from a villagers point of view. I felt like he may have been saving his Actions to do evil stuff, like kill players. I just don't understand why you need to store Zinc as a villager? (Plus I thought I might be killed this Cycle, so I didn't want my Pewter to go to waste). So, yeah, really sorry about all of that. I am very interested in hearing who killed Luckat/DeathClutch though. I figure one of them was the eliminator kill(probably Luckat, because she held information).
  18. Burnt, I'm sorry I can't really explain it very well, but I'll try a little more. From reading over your posts and my PM with you, your wording just seems shady. You haven't posted a lot, not too unusual for you, I'll admit that, but even after I'd voted for you, you didn't respond in the thread, but PM'd me about it. And that response just seemed like you were trying to laugh it off. I guess I feel like you're trying to fly under the radar as much as possible. I don't like Strawman's vote very much, but I'm gonna stick with my gut on this one. (Plus, I hate trying to make decisions last minute(or at least, very late in the Cycle))
