  1. Thanks. Here's why I still think it's a good plan. 1. If any player creates a PM with someone at this point, with all the talk about not making PM's, it's likely they're Spiked. Even if an eliminator did do this, we can still clear villagers, which helps narrow down who actually IS Spiked. 2. Yeah, I still think they'd have said something at one point or another. Otherwise they wouldn't be talking at all, which is a benefit in and of itself I think. 3. It should only be the first player to be scanned that will self-identify themselves in the thread. After that, the scanner can just contact whoever they scan, and the scanned group will know who's been scanned and who hasn't been. I think the 2nd point is the only real problem, since it could "clear" someone who is Spiked. But I don't think it's a particularly likely scenario. Like I said earlier, with 17 players, and Kandra, I think 3 Spiked would be how much we're up against, and with 1 already dead, that would only leave 2. If they don't talk, they won't be able to get anything done.
  2. Rae, why exactly don't you think the Windwhisper plan is good? I'm not sure that I remember you explaining that. I don't really see any big flaws in it, except for the fact that it limits communication(but I suggested a plan to help with that, which no one seems to want to comment on. Hmph.). Vote tally: Will be edited in in about 2 minutes. Here it is. Wonko(2): Mark, Rae Araris(2): Aman, SD Elodin(1): Lopen Aman(1): Elodin Danosaur(1): Araris Mark(1): Kynedath Edit: Okay, well it was actually around 10 minutes.
  3. Oh yeah, before I forget. Spoke with the GM's, and lynching is regular Long Game style. 2 votes needed to lynch someone, and ties result in no death. On that subject, and because I'm too tired to do anything right now and so will try to pass this onto someone else, anyone want to put up a vote count?
  4. If you got a Medkit, then yeah, someone did. Although...Joe, if someone is attacked with a Dagger and gets protected, what happens to the Medkit? It might be that it disappears, so if you just got a Dagger, then I guess that would mean you were protected, since, obviously, you didn't die! Which brings me to another question. Joe, are blocked attacks not stated in the write-up? Because there's supposedly been 1 before(Hellscythe attacking DeathClutch). Here's the Governor votes from last Cycle. Alv(11): Elodin, Kynedath, Mailliw, phattemer, Bugsby, Aman, Wonko, Lopen, Alvron, Hellscythe, Mark. Since there's 19 players left, I'm assuming you'd need 10 to actually become Governor? But Joe just said Alv only got 5 votes. So, there's bribery afoot(I'm assuming by the Corrupt). If the Corrupt are gonna keep spending their money to keep Alv from being Governor, that's fine with me. Alvron Has anyone heard back from Strawman about what the heck just happened with Hellscythe? This doesn't make any sense. phatt, you said he confirmed that he'd scanned Hellscythe as Corrupt?
  5. I'm gonna be gone for the next 6 or 7 hours because of RL stuff. Just a heads up. I trust you guys can get this situation with Strawman/Hellscythe dealt with without me. I'll put my vote on Hellscythe though, since if Strawman really did scan him as Corrupt, he'll be lynched, and if he didn't, you guys can remove your votes.
  6. I'd say hold off on PM'ing for now. IF we decide to go with my idea about selecting a group of players who will not PM so that they can be scanned(totally would take volunteers! Mark, you want to get scanned? That'd be cool), you may be able to PM soon. It also depends on the GM's ruling about whether GM PM's will count for this plan or not. (Sorry if I'm being annoying, this is just really important.) I'd rather PM's weren't shut down like this if there's no reason for them to be. I also don't like that PM's are shut down like this. Hence, my plan about a scanning group. I know that Araris rarely uses PM's, so I don't think he'd mind being a part of the group. Mark seems to want to be scanned, so I don't think he minds. Mark, while he is now exempt from the plan, I still don't see that as overly suspicious. His plan can allow for trusted groups to form and start working together. That's valuable. So yeah, I wish he hadn't started the PM, but I still see it as a point in his favor that he suggested the plan at all(something an eliminator wouldn't have much reason to do).
  7. Thanks. I completely forgot about the GM ruling thing. GM's, anything changing with this? I know you weren't really suggesting we were both Spiked, but a backhanded comment like that doesn't sit well with me. That's why I put you on my "scan to check for Spikiness" list. I'm not sure if I want to lynch you because of the small comments you made during 1 Night, but it's the best lead I've got.
  8. That's true, but that still doesn't allow for very much talking this early. Also, if we decide to make a group of players to scan, we can get information about who players want to be scanned! Right now, I suggest: Aman, Mark, Elodin(might change this one for reasons), Araris and STINK. Aman, Mark, STINK and Araris already said they're not in any PM's. Elodin however, never said whether he was in a PM or not, even when I asked if he was. Elodin, are you in a PM yet? Elodin is my biggest suspicion at the moment. Not only for not saying whether he was in a PM, but also for her comment about me and Wonko possibly being eliminators together. First of all, I know I'm not Spiked. Secondly, Wonko is the next person I trust the most, due to him suggesting that plan. So Elodin suggesting we're both Spiked is suspicious to me. Add to that fact that I kinda think Aman is a villager(very hesitantly mind you ), and Elodin was casting suspicion on him as well, and I'm voting for Elodin(I slept during the Night, so this vote counts). Could someone outline for me why we should reveal our locations?
  9. Nice work Mailliw! I'm guessing that with 17 players, there was only 3 Spiked to begin with. Not super confident in that fact, but considering there is most likely 1 or even 2 Kandra, that seems very fair to me. So, if I'm right about that, we should only need to kill 2 more Spiked. Now onto the Operation Windwhisper plan. I was thinking that if there is a Feruchemical Tin player, and we're going ahead with that plan, we maybe could designate a few players for scanning(like, 4 or 5), and let everyone else PM freely. That way, we can still PM each other some and gather information and stuff, without ruining that plan. What do you all think?
  10. The kind of vote shenanigans I'm talking about is the Corrupt spending a bunch of Boxings to get multiple players lynched, which will only be possible if the votes are close. If we have a lynch like the one last Cycle, there's no hope that they can do anything like that. I'm not saying that once someone has 2 or 3 votes on them, everyone should pile on. I'm saying if there's fairly good reasoning to suspect someone, and it's clear that they're going to be lynched, then add some extra votes as a precaution. Otherwise it's possible for 3 or 4 players to be lynched at once(if Joe's coin flips hate us). I probably should have stated my reasoning for voting on Adamir a little more. I agree with the fact that Adamir's alignment will give us helpful information. That's about it. If he's a Corrupt Senator, then awesome. But if he's not, then we'll know that Alvron killed a Corrupt Senator on the first Cycle with his Dagger. That is very good evidence in his favor, especially since Dagger kills don't reveal alignment.
  11. I'm gonna put my vote on Adamir as well. You only get Boxings from lynching people right? I didn't think you got their items. Orlok, while I do agree that discussion is important, I think it's probably a good idea to have a sizable gap on whoever we're lynching. That way, there's less of a chance for voting shenanigans. So if a clear target appears, I don't mind some extra votes being placed. Edit: Well, okay, that answers my question.
