I see simularities between Mr T and Pedron Niall from tWoT for those(the majority here?) who´s read it. Pedron was Brilliant, and absolutely believed he would be the one to save humanity by destroying all power structures too .

Long Game 1: In the Wake of the Koloss
dyring replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Could be fun to try , havent done it before thou Every town cherishes a meetingplace where one can have a drink and talk with ones mates. Dyring prides himself on his establishment, finest for a days ride. Also the only inn for a days ride, wich is likely a requirement for above claim.- 462 replies

Dont think we have WOB on it. Its mostly the things in WoK. The "false" visions of the hierocracy. It tried to take power. That sounds alot like unite them doesent it? . The victor writes history and it seems likely that those who confessed that the visions where false were either tortured into saying so, or some who claimed to see it to fit in with those who did. Or, simply a story made up by the dude(forgot the name) who brought em down to make himself look better.

He was sitting reading when Vin and Kelsier tried to break into his sanctum. He could surely disguise himself enough to go jumping on the streets if he wanted to. just do it as a lean 50 year old with a beard or something. Store some identity and most surely wont notice you at all.

Why would allomancers mysterically appear? Those on the southern hemisphere would simply remain as they were, with only the very rare misting(or possibly ferring if that existed there too) Without the addition of Lerasium it would be buisness as usual in the south?

Yup. Rashek almost certainly didnt learn anything from the WoA until he actually took the power for himself, wich Vin never did. Basically, what Vin got when she ascended in the last book Rashek got at the WoA, but only for a short time.

Nature of the conflict between Odium and Honor
dyring replied to KevThinker's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Just like to point out, that while shards began equal, they are not neceserily equal now. And once a shard is stronger then another, destroying the other likely becomes a possibility. I did make a thread about that long ago, wich was partly confirmed later. www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/1208-shard-power-level/ So there is the possibility that hnor was invested enough that he simply couldent resist Odium. -
I got the impression that the well was stationary at the pole, and that he moved the terris mountains. It might matter. The pits arent that far away from luthadel, how many days of travel did Alendi have before he arrived at the well after seeing the lake? It might have been the same place if so. But I don´t have my book, so cant check that Then, if the shardpool was indeed really close, then I got another comment "The atium was never at the Well of Ascension, I believe it was always at Ruin´s Shardpool, wich we know was the metal lake near the the well in Alendi´s day, and we know shares a location with the Pits of Hathsin by the time of the books." Depends on what you mean by near. If the shardpool was really close, then the atium was too. It was Leras who created the Atium geod-thing to drain of Atium, not Rashek. so some atium must have been there already, althou with noone who can use it I guess.

Darnam, a problem for your theory. Ruin is unable to see well in areas with much metal. This is why the lord ruler had the caverns there. If the atium was at the well of ascension pre-Rashek, Ruin would almost certainly not have been able to see what was going on there. Besides. we know the well of ascension used to be in the terris mountains. (Or perhaps, the terris mountains used to be at the well of ascension, suppose thats more likely;). Cant really see why he´d move the caves with the pits and the kandra home away from the well either. Easier to control if it had been closer.

Helsingborg, in the south of Sweden. Small city, bit over 100 k pp living here. And regarding languages, I read them in english. I started reading translated books, but when I was 18-ish and waiting for the next of tWOT book, I noteiced that they were taking along time translating. So I bough Lord of Chaos in english, and since then Iv been bying all books by enlish authors in english if I have the choice. Even if you have a good translation, there are always some mistakes. You miss stuff, and I don´t feel "connected" to the writer in the same manner. Getting the novels are fairly easy. Regular bookstores dont have much fantasy, and even less in english, but we got a bookchain called "sciencefiction bokhandeln" wich, as the name clearly gives away even to an english speaker began focusing on Scifi, but now also tries to have everything in fantasy and some toher stuff(boardgames, Magic, some movies in those genres, and do a good job with it. And they have a great homepage for ordering books, so while the closest shop it in another city, I get the books I order in a few days, wich is great:) So, thats how you get the books in sweden:), now if I could only figure out how to convince Brandon to do a signing here......

For wayne, when hes bubbled, I would simply use a shotgun. Lots of bullets spread out. it wont matter so much that each bullet changes direction alittle. There are so many some should cover most of the bubble. Wont hurt him much ofcourse, but should help drain his goldminds quickly. Against bloodmakers, high speed large caliber. get hit by the right rifle and the exitwound is huge. would take loads more then a normal bulletwound to heal.

A sword vs 20 ppl? he might get one if they are dedicated. The sheild? It would surely help against yellowish energy being throwed at you. But against being grabbed? doubtful. Once someone got a grip on him, hes no stronger then a normal person.

He. I´v been thinking about this all wrong. Go okham and simplify. Best way to deal with limelight is likely simply to send in a group of people skilled at wrestling without any weapons or armour in an open space. He´s not superstrong, and his powers are kinda useless if hes just wrestled down by a group of ppl. He can´t really do rust if he´s tied up either, as long as your careful to point his hands right directions(since he seem to only be able to use his tensor ability in the directions of his hands.)

Be kinda mean/fun if it burns out your own inherited investiture and make you a normal individual instead of a mistborn . Not that its likely, but it would be nice to see the face of the mistborn when he/she realized it;)

Theory: Ghostbloods are trying to bring back the Heirocracy
dyring replied to Elementalist's topic in Stormlight Archive
I don´t agree, but I still think part of its right. Personally I do think Kabsal was an ardent for real. I do believe the ardent who spoke to Dalinar have an organisation. I just odn´t think thats the ghostbloods. No organisation with the oportunities stays completely away from power. Betting the ardents are trying to push things in the directions they like, carefully supporting those they approve of. Ofcourse they haveto be careful. They would have difficulty censoring ardents who disagreed with the common opinion, so some differences would still be there. I do not think that organisation is the ghostbloods thou. They may possibly be a militant offshoot as some suggested.- 9 replies

Sounds fun. Its unfortunate that America is placed in such a insignificant place. Or atleast this "Utah", whatever that is. Could you not just pick it up and place it in a better spot? If it will not fit in the sea between Sweden and Germany you could surely fit this near-mythical Utah into the north sea between Norway, Denmark and Britain? It would still be unpleasantly far, but a doable drivingdistance as opposed to where it is currently residing. And that is not even considering the difficulty of finding an amphibious car capabel of crossing the atlantic. On that note, when you park Utah, please be careful to place it close enough to the coast so a ramp can be placed. It would be quite vexing to be forced to acquire said amphibious car for the relatively short distance mentioned. And do not bother to avoid all those steel constructions spread all over. The Norweigians are rich enough. It is after all for the greater good, namely my personal pleasure.

"skull was chrushed in on the left" Hardly completely crushed, and hes down for, well, almost a minute or so? Steelheart and David chats abit. . but if a shot through the head and brain, if it keeps prof down for 5 secs its enough, thats plenty of time to send 5 more bullets through, and then you can have ppl clearing it on close range(cutting the head of is a safe bet, even if he would survive wich i really doubt, he wouldent be able to move without a body....) and since he isnt super strong, and his tensor only seem to work forward from the hands, he can easily be tied down aslong as your careful.

Wayne have used guns a few times thou. With blanks So its not impossible he would carry it to blend in at some point, part of a disguise. Its not impossible, just very impropable

I really think some of us are overrating prof´s powerlevel. A snipershot in the head, sure, the shield would block part of it, but likely not enough. Explosions I doubt thou. I think we want the bullet type of attack if its a kinetic one. Its noted in the book that the jackets arent great at stopping bullets, better at say, fall damage and such(meaning it propably protects better against explosions then bullets) And while prof likely still got more of the shield power on him then what he gifted the others in the team, a sniperrifle is way more powerful than say, the gun abraham was shot by. Way way more powerful. A good shot and he´s propably down long enough that he can be finished before he recuperated fully. Better get a good shot right away thou. If you just wound him abit, he´s likely to call back all the gifted powers, and grow stronger. throwing snakes is still a funnier solution thou

Living matter is immune to tensors. Heh. Throw a big bunch of poison snakes at him . enough poison from the right snake will prolly overload his regen, and even if not he will be incapaciated long enough you can cut his head off;)

Just fix the green gaussgun and shot him with that. even if he can tensor the shot when its near, it should still explode(or whatever that effect is called, not really an explosion;)) right? even if he dont die hell be hurt enough that you can finish him off.

By the way, I assumed Mitosis is still alive, anyone disagrees? (or is there some solid evidence I´v missed?) I expect he had a few clones hidden away. one or a few in the safest locations he can find ?

Do you know if Brandon is considering posting more maps at some(hopefully not to distant;)) time? Warbreaker used to be the one I was longing for a map on, but also Sel now . That he dont want to post anything on say, southern scadrial and such I understand, it makes sense since we havent been there, but warbreaker and sel, atleast the portions we´we visited and heard of? Sel there for example, I had gotten the impression that Teod was to the north, and that peninsula turned into some sort of arctic continent myself. (might be just because the sailor nation in fantasy tend to be far north and cold barbaric country )
