  1. Ill put in some generic information without to much spoilers. It is not all the same world, it is the same universe. (And not quite all, not the alcatraz books, and not several of his short stories. Nor ofcourse, the wheel of time.) This universe, a number of worlds, are called the cosmere. Different series have a different amount of information regarding this. All have hints, few have anything straight forward. As for characters, if you look through the books, or while you read em, you will notice quite a few of them have a char named "Hoid" in them. Hard to add more really. Cant tell you about the rest without major spoilers, its only hoid thats fairly apparent. The cosmere books that are out as of yet are Way of kings. (on the planet Roshar) Mistborn trilogy + Alloy of law (Scadrial) Elantris and Emperors soul (Sel) Warbreaker (on Nalthis)
  2. Nohadon observes a ***spren wich bonds with an honorable individual(By accident). Nohadon writes down ***sprens bonds with honorable individuals, and adds the persons specifik stats to make one of the orders;). Might work. Like the theory. Not sure if I believe it, but its nice.
  3. The old songs spoke of hundreds of forms, now they knew only five. well, six if you counted slaveform, the form with no spren, no soul and no song. The form the humans were accustomed to, the one they call parshmen. It was however, but the lack of a form. Eshenai left the hall of art helm under her arm and passed through the watering square. Here a large pool had been create by workers in nimbleform. A nimble sculpting craf that caught rain wich during the storm was thick with nourisment. Workers carried buckets. Their forms were strong although it had thinner fingers and no armour. *** nodded towards them. As a general she had no authority over them. She was one of the last shardbearers they had, and that afforded her some respect. A group of 3 matingforms, one male and two females played in the water, splashing at oneanother. You three, Eshenai snapped at them, shouldent you be doing something? They sat up straight, barely clothed they dripped with water others would be drinking. *****(description of mating form, something about plump and soft;) **** **** come in one called, its fun. Out Eshenai said, pointing. The three muttered to the tone of irritation as they *****. Nearby several workers shook their heads as they passed. One scene deprived of appriciation to Eshenai. Workers did not like confrontation. It was an escuse ofcourse. just as those who took on matingform used that as an excuse for ****** activities. Eshenai had been a worker, she prefered it, and had trained herself to confront when needed. She had tried matingform at one point, everyone tried it if only out of curiocity. In her case, it had been a disaster. Regardless, she had seen firsthand that one could indeed focus as a mate, could be productive despite distractions. Many relied to much on their forms to construct how they should act. However, with the present inevitability hanging over the ****(the parshendi?). She saw more and more giving up on the pressure of decision. Allowing the easy answers to guide them, the instincts given by their forms. It frigthened her. This is up to 11:00. Now I gotto go. Someone else can continue, or I might later;)
  4. wouldent it just be up to the amount of healing you got stored? And inquisitor shouldent be attacked all that often, and getting the gold wouldent be a prob, so they should have filled metalminds for when rust happends. Wayne stored up enough for 2 gunshots, the poison and slow healing from part of that blast by two or three weeks in bed. a shot through the head might mean you need to have healing already on when it happends thou I suppose, as you likely wont be able to decide to turn it on with a bullet through your head. Might be cause of that, few non-compounders would be tapping health continously in a fight.
  5. Could always simply steal your dead parents spike(s). They eye ones are abit obvious, but one(or several) of the inquisitors chest spikes could work. Would be some decay so perhaps quite weak, but still. Then you wouldent haveto kill them either. Unless your some sort of resistance and want to make use of the inquisitor you managed to kill, then you can have a group with one or two each
  6. After having get bored with star wars some time back, and run crusader kings II several times, I now kinda like Dota2. Not having played dota since WC3 and the first of those mods, its kinda fun. Simple and you know baout how long its going to take. And a year never passes without a few civilization games, wichever civ happends to be the newest of the time
  7. Pretty sure the mists came anyway. What was called the deepness came before Alendi went to the well. Would get stronger/thicker all the time. Been wondering if it was not the "overflowing" of the well wich caused it. That the well was full, so the extra power went to the mists, making them stay during the day. Ofcourse, after ruin was freed, none went to the well at all, and thats why the mist grew stronger then. Likely the "thumping" from the well would grow stronger too. Eventually, any bronceburner would hear it thumping loudly.

    Pewter

Ofcourse you can store strength from pewter, or your run into a whole lot of different problems. Take compunding. the explanation given is that by storing say health in gold, you create a new metal of sorts wich you can burn, thus using metals to gain the strength. Thus, compounding health means you store allomancer health(unless you use it all imidiately). Same with say double pewter, or double everything. Same as storing pewter strength. If you couldent store pewter strength, then you couldent compound at all imho.

    Pewter

Its a decent way to do it, but not to keep it secret I would think. If you stored first, youd get smaller as your muscles shrink. Then you burn pewter, your muscles stay small, while you gain normal functions. Burn pewter first, and then store. Wont change your size. One thing is it might fool people. If you can store allomancy pewter strength into your metalmind, you could pull it out without growing in size, become immensively strong without it showing. Say, like the lord ruler when he punched Kelsier. Another Terrisman pulling strength from a pewtermind may draw so hes twice your size thinking him far stronger, and youll just chrush him. Another thing thou. When I was thinking of twinborns that it would be cool to have, I was thinking a bloodmaker thug. Theres a better combo for your thoughts. Burn pweter you not only get stronger, but also healthyer in a way, healing faster. Burn pewter and you could store health maybe twice as fast as a regular bloodmaker (say Wayne), while likely still being able to move about fairly normal. More if you flare alot. basically, you wont have Miles healing, but youll be able to store always and that should give your reserves to pull of the same stuff as miles do fairly often. Be cheaper too, not using up your gold. At the same time you´ll be stronger and thougher if it comes to fighting. Wounds wont get as bad, and requre less healing. Thats a better use for your thought then double pewter where compounding is off the charts for strength:)
  10. Great job:) One little thing thou.. could you perhaps write out that personalization you spoke of... since if you like me havent fallen into the hellish addiction of facebook you cant watch them pics.;/
  11. Who sais he used the lerasium he(almost certainly) picked up himself? We know from the letter he very likely knew Ati and Leras before they picked up shards, and liked both(before Ati got corrupted by his shard). If they were friendly, well, if you ended up becoming a god of sorts, and someone you respected who helped you way back showed up... Well, Sazed made Spook a mistborn. Why couldent Ati and/or Leras have made their friend Hoid a feruchemist back then? They were still very influenced by their humanity that early, perhaps a small tendency to boast? Look at this cool magic we´we made! way cooler then your lightweaving, here, test it! Just a possibility.
  12. Could one not simply ask "If you compare a human from Naltis to one from scadrial, would the scadrielese be "equal" to a drab or to a 1 breath human in respect to lifesense and such" Would he rafo that youthink?
  13. Wait, what? where did this come from? When hes falling to avoid the bomb, its one story and hes stopping himself with a downpush. Where else did he fall with increased weight?
  14. Is pain a feeling in this aspect I wonder? Can you affect pain with soothing/rioting? Its likely a no to that right? (And I agree on that you can´t affect yourself with soothing/rioting. Lucky, or all the soothers and rioters would just be hippies walking about extremely happy all the time I think;). Junkies on metal!)
  15. Brandon have mentioned that some of the powers bend/break the laws of physics if you go into detail havent he? They are very logical generally, but weight in particular is abit odd. I agree that wax should get more dense, logically, but I think this is one of the places where Brandon dont quite follow the laws of physics, as its been explained rather often in the book by different people. So I do think he would get killed by a bullet. Admittedly, it is a possibility that its not be properly tested, its been thought it wouldent help as a bullet have a hellufalot of kinetic energy, so if someone was 10 times as heavy, sure, the bullet only went halfway through the fellow when it would otherwise have gone clearly through and kept on. Not all that often someone makes themselves 100 times or more heavier, wich might have been needed. Another possibility is that it doesent affect the body at all, all the weightincrease only comes into being at the bottom of your skin. At the point where your body tries to rest the weight so to say. that is is not density thats stored, but the effect upon your surroundings. Would explain it, wouldent it(atleast if my explanation manages to say what I mean;) I still think its likely that this is one of the times the rules are bent abit, as it is magic ;)/>
  16. Hmm. Could you stand in a fire without getting hurt by storing bodyheat? Should work. Atleast as long as the metalminds dont get full or melt;)
  17. Just one other point. Denth was the only returned able to conciously change his appearance wich we saw die. Blushweaver´s appearance may have changed, but it was not by her own control, simply regarding how she think she should look. And how she think she should look wouldent change cause she was dying. On the other hand, if you conciously haveto control the way you look, like Denth likely needed to, then the panic of death and all that, is likely to have an effect;). So can´t see royal locks on Denth as something necessery. And there is nothing else speaking for him having them, or him having royal blood.
  18. If they managed to build a copy of Elantris, (or maybe it would need to be an Aeon shaped after the land their in, as Elantris is shaped after that land, chasm and all), one could not help but wonder if the shaod would start to appear around that city aswell....
  19. So if you lift Elantris the city and look underneath, will you find a stamp placed there long ago by someone? whoever it was must have had a devil of a time convincing the city it was plausible that it was to draw energy and transform people into demigods (not completely serious, but I agree with those who mentioned simularities)
  20. Doubt its that easy. that will only be book 2. We wont have all the answers that early;)
  21. In his book, Nohadon wrote that he had an easy life following the Desolation. Now, let's go take a look at That One Guy I don´´t think thats arguing against. It sais he lived an easy life _after_ the desolation. What we see there is the ending of the desolation. So perhaps things got better for him? Besides, that very thing led to an important thing for Dalinar. Quoting from memory now, and can´t quite recall it word for word, but it goes something like this: Dalinar, near the end of WOK after having kicked the king in the chest. "But I did´nt understand something. Nohadon wrote his book at the end of his life. He wrote it as a sort of guideline, for a people who already had some experience in following the right path. I´v been treating the other highprinces as adults, who can be trusted to read something and adapt it to their needs. But we are not adults, were children, and children are required to do what is right." Now, its likely partly wrong, but the point of that quote is as it is. (my books not here:p) Thats the point then. Nohadon now, enters the part where he requires ppl to do whats right. Its not until later he´ll be peaceful Personally, I´m almost certain that it is Nohadon. But I am open for the posibility that Nohadon is truly a title, and that there have been several "Nohadons", who have worked on that book.
