  1. "bloody tineye. How are we to find out who he is?" Dyring was walking back and fourth at the bar. "Who could the vandal be? It seems likely its him. But can´t be sure." "Oh, and that inquisitor needs to be found too! Can´t be forgotten just cause its less important!" "now. Lurcher, then seeker? Thats to much luck. I think its time to consider that either the inquisitor, or possibly the first convert was someone who have been given the information. Or, that Peng should not be trusted after all. Now, it seems like noone was converted tonight(so the damnation tineye was wrong in addition to being a lowly vandal) That means, yes. the second seeker." Dyring climbs up on his bar, and yells "Hey. listen up. the second seeker. We know your there. No, dont say anything, just listen among the rest. Whoever you seeked tonight, if they turned out to be non smoked and neither convert nor Inquisitor. They can be trusted during the day. So you, imidiately, tell them if you got a clear reading on peng. And have that person, being less of a target then you, Speak up! We need to get rid of the lastsuspicions there. Then, Peng, get your sorry behind in here. It is just to much luck. either the inquisitor or the convert must be someone who knew of Lucy being a seeker. How many knew? Someone is trusting the wrong person"
  2. I just noticed that its not released until the 6:th of march in sweden. This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules. Odds of me ending up buying both the hardcover and the e-book just increased massively:p
  3. "I like the list. But It was not I who asked for it. I won´t pay! Hasslers! always trying to get into my pockets! It was ridge who asked for the list I tell you". As a sidenote. I think several if not most of the people who voted for Shimble have joined a sort of an... alliance of their own. I do believe that such alliance are perfect for an inquisitor to work from. I do believe an inquisitor would jump in joy to be able to join a such, and get both possible defensive support, as well as several offensive votes that he can carefully prod in the right direction. The reason I know this is that I was, a while back, asked to join it by one of the members. I was not told the rest of the members thou, but as said, im fairly confident they agreed to vote together for shimble and thats what led to the mess. And yes, I write this incase I die.. so the info is out there."
  4. "As noted, my main suspects (I suspect everyone, but the main ones;) Aspren Vron Aonar Herwynbe And to a lesser degree, the rest of the 7. I used to suspect Gamon. Less so now, but still a tad over the rest. And stop whining about the booze!" As the shadows grows longer, dyring goes out and the effects of his earlier hammering is seen. A big planked shield, tall enough that it is only just possible to get in through the door, and covering a good portion of the wall, he, under much grumbling and swearing, positions it infront of the section of the wall that have continuously been desecrated by the messages. "There. Now STOP VANDALIZING THE PLACE!"
  5. Roban: Check meta´s post earlier, the one where he sais why he was late. He sais votes after a the time stated there wont count sicne its after deadline(I dont actually know if you were after that, since I dont know what time est is, but it seems likely since you were among the last..
  6. Great all is well Meta. Doesent really matter if we gotto wait abit when something happends. Its a game only:). "some assumptions are required. It doesent help worrying about extremely unlikely things just because its not expressively stated he cannot, like him having two bronze power or being able to multiseek most of us during the first day so he could already know the lurcher before the first night. He got lucky with the lurcher, or the lurcher trusted the wrong person with info. The alternative is fooling oneself. "
  7. "He wont have two bronze powers. Thats just silly to try and divert suspicion from the strongest lead we have because it points towards, among others, you."
  8. Answered the rest of the arguments already, but Alvrons is new, but faulty: 1. He would need to be as lucky to random seek the lurcher as he would randomly killing him, so how does that make a difference? 2. He gave up the seeking ability, so he obviously doesent think its that useful. if it was usable during the day, I doubt he would.
  9. He cant use another power at day thou. Except thugness if hes voted in. And he doesent need to push for anything. But if we assume he doesent, then its no point suspecting anyone. One must assume he tries to win.. and getting rid of a powerful misting is better then getting rid of a nothing special. (and he did know shimble was important, shimble said so, openly in the thread. And lying if not the inquisitor is sabotaging. Its not done. )
  10. The inquisitor would be the one who prefers a deadlock the most. He´s bound to be a soother or rioter. He can swing an even result any way he like without anyone knowing who he is. Deadlock is perfect for him.
  11. Vron. Aonar. Eddy. Maxill. Wilson. Aspren. Herwynbe. Those are the main suspects. Of them, I personally have Aspren on top of my suspectolist at this time(subject to change;)). Not based on the last argument just now, but mostly in the earlier thread. Second suspects are Aonar and herwynbe, whom Iv both seen as suspicious. Vron, Eddy, Maxill have all been a tad less active then I would think the inq would be. But its a possibility. Wilson is a possibility, but well, I´m thinking she was just tricked, given that she acted just the same in defending it as with beetle, so it fits her standard actions. So I´m suspecting her less since shes acting the same way as when she was innocent;) Im only suspecting them strongly thou. I dont _know_ like I did with beetle.
  12. Because you couldent do both. Either the inquisitor followed the mistborn, aka, voted kill wes, or the inquisitor went to try and kill the one he knew was a misting, aka shimbles. He had a choice to make. Thus, you cannot do both. And voting to kill an important misting, under cover of not wanting to kill anyone, is quite nice as inquisitor.
  13. eh? No. You said it would be smarter not to join those voting for shimbles and instead ingratiating yourself with the mistborn. As it happens there are several who ingratiated themself with the mistborn yet changed their mind and voted for shimbles when that option came to hit someone important. All while trying to give the impression they didnt wanna kill anyone, yet knowing they could soothe any deadlock so they could choose who died.
  14. Aspren: Personally, I think the inq would be very happy to vote for someone he knew was an important misting.... I really cannot see how anyone objects to this. Its like saying the inquisitor would not try to kill say, a seeker or the lurcher if they went public. (shimble claimed he was. So eitehr he was lying aka the inquisitor, or he was someone important to us. the inquisitor would have known he wasent that. Ergo he knew shimbles was someone important wich would be great to get out of the game. )
  15. I agree with porride on those 7. Havent really made up my mind on wich of the 7 I find most suspicious. Or atleast, Im not divulging it
  16. Well, I´m the one who asked, so yes naturally. And I agree there is a small benefit to them. But a bigger one to us I think. We will lessen the risk of any more paniced poor decisions as the one leading the shimbles death. Worth it imho.
  17. "they are not fully trusted now, since they might have been converted. As long as he does not give out those who are a misting, it makes no difference. And what if the inquisitor targets Peng? The lurcher can protect him, but what if the inquisitor hits him together with the converted? then he is dead, and the information lost. I have no particular knowledge about either of them. But Ill vote for whom you say, still. "
  18. I have ordered the hardback... but its pretty likely I will be hit by insatiable desire, and end up buying the ebook too if its up before Iv gotten me hardback.
  19. "Well thats helpful isnt it? So you cannot give us names on seekers and the important people. Fine enough" Give us a list of those you and the seekers have seeked. Those you _know_ isnt the inquisitor. sure, they could still be converted but nevermind that. Just state "villages". We wont know who´s important among them, and the inquisitor and any convert already knows their not one of them. You give no info to them, only to us. Throw us a bone you tightmouth"
  20. Hmm. Shardspear. Now, if there was a character in one of Brandon´s absolute favorite bookseries wich a certain type of spear could be a nice homage to, while simultaneously be more efficent as a "shardspear" then a standard spear. Equal, or maybe better then a sword. If such a character existed, then I´d bet it would be such a spear. Wait! There is such a char! Ashandarei ftw.
  21. Dyring is not inside the inn, as normal. Instead, alot of hammering is heard outside, for more then an hour before he comes in again. "What? so who´s to die? No decision yet?" "Can we kill the tineye if we don´t know who´s the inquisitor or the converted is yet?"
  22. hmm, whereas Nightwielder blots out the sun and makes it dark, pink pinkness makes every light pink? A city where everything is a uniform pink. the horror
  23. dyring is moving around, cleaning and grumbling. "Bloody idiots could go wrecking their own walls" "or outside. Outside would be less bad" "keep breaking in here. your not suposed to break into outfit property." Once finished, he disapperes, and starts hauling planks from a neighboring abandoned house to outside the inn, for some sort of an unspecified purpose. Pausing to get a drink and rest up(and to yell at everyone around for... well, whatever he can think of, wich ends up being mostly poor Roban since he´s the one nearby) "Only one working here. Lazy buggers. Their all just sabotaging." "Pong, you promised you would be able to find out if one person was an inquisitor today. Well, out with it. you or anyone else find someone out? Either the inquisitor, or even better, the tineye who keeps making a mess of my inn."
  24. Shardplate I wonder about, if its not something created. But the shardblade, one thing I am considering is that it is just the spren itself somehow. And the modern shardblades are "dead" spren, locked into the shape of blades.
