  1. Seer higher on the list than elantrian? comon
  2. Jasnah may not have progressed enough to have a shardblade when she investigated the oathgates from the non-urithuru direction. Just to point it out. So it might just be the live shardblade thats missing.

    Cosmere MUD

oh, heh, Once, looong ago I played in a mud, I even helped with some simple coding(making rooms), in unix.. but that was.. I think 95? around there atleast. Since Iv never worked with coding, and havent done anything like it since I finished... I think it would be college thats it in the american system. And unfortunately, dont quite have the time to relearn it. Its a fun idea thou. Is there actually a live mud community around still? Wonder if the old "vikingmud" I used to play on is still around... hmm.
  4. Kasimir: Since its very strongly hinted Zahel uses stormlight instead of breath to survive every week, its likely he can use stormlight for other normally breath-requiring things aswell.
  5. Dalinar is an option. That blade doesent scream, and Dalinar already got the checks, of sorts, from the bond with the stormfather. Stormfather said he´d be a radiant without shards, but not sure if honorblade´s counts.
  6. it was not enough for nightblood to recognize someone for them to killthemself thou. Sufficent willpower would mean you didnt. And Im not so sure nightblood would anyway. He wants to destroy evil but he generally accept others view of what that is. And since steelheart sees himself as a god. Well, even in our world, many thinks god is who defines good. Wich would mean murder would be moral and good in god said it was. Extremely hypothetical, but would seriously doubt either shardblade or nightblood would be afraid of steelheart, so he´d likely be in trouble. Ofcourse, if he knew before hand he was vulnerable, he could use those whirlwinds he picked up the gun with(and wich is propably how he flies) to hold whoever attacks him in place while he bombs them with yellow energy
  7. About the large circle with several rithmatists in it. You just loose to much, aka, binpoints, compared to several circles next to eachothers. You get more bindpoints, you still have a protected side, and, you are able to use lines of forbiddance to block the dangerous sides while leaving the protected ones open. In a multi-rithmatist circle that just would not work without blocking for others.
  8. Its mostly that it would have been really impractical to turn the city into cheese. On a sidenote, wonder how deep down he turned everything to steel, and given the size of that steelblock... I wonder if thats gonna play havoc with plate tectonics once theyv had a few centuries to buildup pressure... looots of earthshakes later on?
  9. On the ground where the lynching have taken place lies a lone hat on the ground, one with the head of a stuffed owl upon it. Even forgetting that hats generally are not considered entities capable of feeling sadness, it is still a fact that a hat cannot look sad. It lacks the necessery facial parts. But this hat does seem to look inexplainably sad, somehow.
  10. "Actions explain you need? But hat of thinking, its the true path! All know they know it all! Those trying to find a tie, there you should be careful, among those too there are those who should be looked into carefully. Try to make ties, when some are or might be drabs and just forget to show? That is easy to not happend. And Pahn kahl, they know they are not drabs, or maybe they are. They can count that into it, and let the one they choose die, that is, if there is a tie." ooc - I dont just run a lottery on who I pick to vote for - I got reasons for my votes, I dont always wanna write those reasons out. Dyrri not be stable, but hes not an idiot. I got me system that I use. Same system Iv used in earlier games. Might wanna take a look at my history there, its very few innocents Iv voted for. (excepting some where Iv been very clear with it being guesses). And those few innocents, well, thats people makeing decision benefitting the enemy. As Fnord why they picked me for first kill last game;). That said, I expect the bandwagon is on atm
  11. "To vote or not to vote, that is for the thinking hat to decide. Hat sais vote, and vote is for doing. To do the voting, I vote for Wil´son. Only reason is the thinking hat, it thinks Wil´son have acted in a specific way the thinking hat thinks is suspicious."
  12. "strawmen breath is safe still, no matter what happends, and many strawmen better. Aoden given all would be able to do but little every day, and once mercenaries start dying, his breath could not be split out again. It be putting all out eggs in the same hat."
  13. Dyrri put on a new, higher then normal hat, decorated with the head of a stuffed owl, known to be clever animals "Barthollowme.... he said last I heard, that he was a drab after making a strawman. My my my, he is trying to seem good and nice is he not, a drab offering breath? Me trust him not" Shifting his hat, he continues "I will think more before I vote, but barthollowme... hmm"
  14. Cog Novote "Acts are weird. Monk confused, but respected. Me worry. Me think Barthollowme is suspicious. Me is very suspicious to those who suddenly when voted on have this ultimate reason why not. Me think this should be considered. If me was spy, me would choose either Barthollowme or chide or cog to investigate. Chide because votes on swimmingly quickly came to protected. Cog because earlier stated. Barthhollowme also for earlier stated. Me no vote today. Me need to make new thinking hat. Tomorrow, with thinking hat done, me will know all."
  15. ooc - No real new comments. Just ofcourse, my vote dont count it seems, as it is for cog. Ill leave it in anyway, letting it turn into a novote then.
  16. Cog Dyrri stands and screams, while waving his hat! "Now, know not know. NOT KNOW! Agents know not if they are. If Pahn kahl want to protect, know they it is easy to fake an idrian agent, to make two, like for us to know aoden is innocent. I know, having two claiming to come forward as Idrian agents, useless is! Easy to fool for the foul! Dyrri knows, bandwagons turned by vocal pressure to not kill after all, often turned by the foul away from righteous cause. Dyrri have seen it lots. Dyrri have heard of it elsewhere. Dyrri remembers! Little proof is better then no proof. Little proof sais Cog, so Dyrri follows the little proof. Dyrri will then vote Aoden tomorrow, if Cog is not the foul murderer-cretin. Dyrri asks, if Cog dies innocent, and Dyrri is killed in the night, consider it be might possibly to protect Aoden from Dyrri´s justified vengeance-vote on him. Lies serve Pahn kahl. Only way to detect. Liers must be destroyed-wiped-clean-from-city-of-hats."
  17. "The suspiciously suspicious person claiming to be a known scholar and nothing else got away. Perhaps he is not what he is saying that he isnt. This Thomas, perhaps he is bad, good. Maybe just ugly. The hat is. Perhaps he wants to buy a prettier one. If so, it is lucky he was not killed. Either way, lets look on things with ratinal logic before we scream on top of our lungs to kill someone. Soon it is night, let us see who dies. Maybe they will lack hats to, wich would be a shame, since they died and wont be able to buy new ones, like that would otherwise. That is, if they were alive. Then they could have bought hats. Yes, I got it. It is foolproof. I will start imidiately." Dyrri at this point starts going around the room, studying everyones hats.
  18. Dyrri stands, and tries to bring some sense and logic into the discussions "Know is weak belief, suspect is not sure its enough to blieve to know that it is indeed the correct person believed to be indeed the slayer. As I am incredibly and fantastically wise it is not possible to be suspicious without suspecting that the suspiciouns is suspiciously uncertain wich is not good. One must be not only absolutely certain, but also greatly convinced that it is indeed the correct suspecious person you are suspicious towards, or you would be suspiciously daft, meaning you would not be wise. As I am wise I must carefully wait before being certain. Thus I abstain from any voting now."
  19. "I know it all, and all I know, I know it is all known by the best hats, and known it is that Ben is an known suspicious person. He claim that it is known that he knows alot, that he knows to be a known scholar, but it is known he is suspicious thus he may not be known to be a scholar but rather known to be suspiciously suspicious, thus he should be suspected of foul play. also, Barthollomew is chedesh. They are not here. they are not hallandren why is he here he is trying to destroy us all perhaps or not but he might want to kill. Noone know how Chedesh should act except chedesh and if he is not chedesh and no other chedesh is here then easy to hide among chedesh for pahn kahl who got ugly hats."
  20. To me it does. Every rpg, and every live rpg iv been in iv ben ingrained with that ooc means factual, and no lies. In some of the larger rpg convents I been at, using ooc to argue for ic stuff meant getting taken off the game. So when someone writes something ooc every fiber of me screams to trust that. (and ofcoursem game mechanics are ooc, and its another matter. Its when its used to promote innocence for example, that it annoyes.) *edit And just to try to make sure there are no missunderstandings. I do not mean that everything gotto be.. as if written by a Nalthis citizen. I would just like the avoid, well, one example would be "OOC - And we´re m8´s porrige. You know Id tell you if I was spiked. Im a villager thug." Thats the sort of things that I think should be disallowed. (albeit thatone is exagerated somewhat;)
  21. I would ask for/suggest that another general rule is added. That IC and OOC is kept apart. Simply put, that one should never use anything ooc to affect how your character should be viewed. The obvious thing is to tell friends that you really are not a spiked(or whatever the role in the game is), and foster trust that way. Use your character to convince others of your trustworthyness. And don´t tell others of your roles in ways as to remove doubt through other means, means unavaliable within the game. Fooling someone ooc should be frowned upon imho, but that also means that one cannot write "OOC I am not the inquisitor, really, Im not. I promise" or some such. I suck at explaining sometimes, but hope my point gets through :/
  22. ooc - Meta: When I write ooc above, I mean that its somehting I write that dont have with the game to do, at all, but some comment. Thus I would never write ooc and then state my role in it. Wich is also why anytime I write something after OOC, it is the truth - and it also got nothing to do with the character I play, and contains no hints as what I play. So when I write ooc, it is not Dyrri, it is dyring. Me. And I dont lie, but Dyrri might. What I wanted to avoid was things like in the first game. "I promise on all of brandons books etc" attempts to use out of game thigns to convince of ingame matters. Its the same as using IRL connection to convince people imho. So, I guess what Im asking is, dont give information ooc, truthful or lies? (and I ent no pot there, cause I dont do that. IC Hey, those lifeless. Can I borrow them? I want them making me more hats. Never have enough hats. Who want hats? *late edit: ooc - And in the end, its up to the GM if it should be one way or another. Just my preference, since games where out of game reasons for trusting is used gets boring;) *even later edit (I dont want to make another post just for this) I wouldent mind putting it in blue, but I cant. Same bug wich keeps me from quoting stops me from changing colours:( Ill go with bolded and stuff next time, or just try to stay away from ooc in the future;)
  23. ooc - Dont try to use OOC to try and give your information more worth Same with the "swear by brandon" that was going on in some games. The whole point of the game is duplicity.
  24. Dyrri the Idrian stood up, righted his hat and spoke to the crowd, trying to calm everyone down with a nice and calming message. "The hallandren doesent not want war! They do not want us to avoid being killed! The ambassador wanted to avoid for war to not fail to break out. But no, not all of them. If not all of the false godworshippers fail to not want war, they wouldent simply not attack. Thus, they mustnt fail to police their numbers, or we will all recieve more war then we want! Yes, it is chrystal clear, all of it!
