  1. hmm. Nasty marching that. Remember my 40 km marches with full equipment in the military. That is not something you do without getting seriously tired. I doubt anyone would reach much higher then that. Atleast not unless you have set waypoints(inns or such) so you dont need to carry any supplies. And just cause its say 400 km´s as the crow flies, that does not mean its just 400 km´s as you walk. roads are seldom perfectly straight, and there are hills up and down wich not only makes it harder, but adds distance too. As for length of year and day, length of day might be an issue, to quick rotation would throw the atmosphere away, but its not that much faster then earth. I dont have the exact numbers but that sounds resonable. Time around the sun is viable with any climate changes. Climate is mostly due to the tilt of the axle, wich roshar lack(so no major summer/winter temperature variations) Time to rotate a lap around the sun, Im a tad tired here but unless I´m overlooking something, all you need to to is twiddle abit with the mass of the planet and the sun it revolves around, and you could speed up/slow down a planet in its orbit without needing to move it cloer or further away from the sun to add length to the year.
  2. On the point of civility. Do recall that my character was, from the start, mentioned to be a besserwisser considering himself smarter then everyone else.... my posts are made from that pov. Just to remind you . We have a point of origin. 7 names. While its not 100% the Inq is among them, its very good odds. That said, last vote was the last night when the Inquisitor getting killed would be an instant win. Thus, things change for today. its a restart, of sorts. All info is void on who may be a convert. Still, I do hope a bunch among those 7 are seeked. I know wich 2-3 I would check first;) (*edit: bit childish to downvote +votes on my posts thou)
  3. "You should have done what we agreed, and gone for wes. Simply as that. By attempting deadlock you give the inquisitor and a single rioter/soother all the power to decide. Most likely the Inq as anyone else would be happy with the deadlock then. Even if the decision on Wes was simply a random roll, thats where it needs to start. Because its a random roll with the important ones removed! Peng is picking the suspicious ones from a list of maybe 10 names. You or I pick them from a list of twice that size. And deadlock is not an option. Now, goodnight."
  4. ooc - in the last game, I was targeted despite having voted against every innocentkill, because people made excuses for their own votes, just like thatone. Continue making them, and youll make the same mistakes as last game. This is also apparent by the upvotes now. The ones having made errors but excusing themselves gets more upvotes then the ones who argued for a better direction, such as me and porridge. Those excuses, and desire to protect yourselves, then also protects the inquisitor. "No m8. that is just an excuse to cover for a bad decision. Sure some of you might be more likely then others, but at a chance to kill one the inquisitor knew to be important, he would have been wanting to jump at it. You gave him the chance, by picking a target who you knew was important if he was innocent." (you used for the group, not pointed at one individual)
  5. "Right. Just incase the inquisitor does the only resonable thing and targets the smartest man in the crew and I am killed tonight, I wish to make one more statment before I go to sleep(ooc - log off;)) Vron. Aonar. Eddy. Maxill. Wilson. Aspren. Herwynbe. Theese 7 are now moved up high on the suspectolist. shimbles mentioned he had an important role, thou he didnt say wich. He said that his death would be very bad for team non-hemalurgy. The inquisitor would have known Shimble wasent the Inquisitor, and thus, could expect him to tell the truth, and then very much want Shimbles dead. While there is a small chance that he didnt wanna risk voting for Shimble himself, and instead perhaps rioted or soothed, it is still very likely one of those 7 are the inquisitor. They should not be trusted."
  6. Kinda. I was certain someone would pop in with the amount of time that would pass between the books, but oh well. A quick search didnt yield a result, and its bedtime here now :/
  7. "We propably do not have another coinshot, atleast not another snapped. If we do, he´s been sitting twiddling his thumbs at night."
  8. Wilson "I suppose that if we had someone protected by a lurcher, if we got another, or if someone was seeked to be a thug who´s still on his first life, the inquisitor would be unable to convert them. We could trust thatone."
  9. "I suspected shimble the most, yet still argued against killing him, just to avoid this. That was not due to a guess. If we suspect Wes and shimble both based on gut feelings, then it does make sense to kill the one who´s less likely to be someone important. That is what I warned you about, and thats why you should have considered. This is how things stood: Wes - decent chance of being Inq, Is not someone important if not. Shimble - Decent chance of being Inq - Certain to be someone important if not. (And maybe I should have explained it like that, but I thought it was obvious from what I wrote.) And there, shimble should be kept alive, due to the second part. Thus, for the next vote, please do think, not just go with gut, since we do have _some_ facts. Consider them. Gut feelings is what made spiked win last game, instead of going by facts. As a sidenote, I realize a whole lot of gut feelings just started pointing me out to die, as I´m letting ppl know they acted stupidly, wich is never popular compared to sympathy and confirmation of it not being their fault. However, confirmation and sympathy does not lead to smarter behavior the next time. Now, its nighttime, we should all try and stay safe until tomorrow. I do hope Pong comes back"
  10. "Gamon, Well, you could have stuck to the plan, knowing that the one Peng targeted wasent an important misting.... I did indeed warned you about this, wich was ignored(thou he was coinshot, not tineye). Deja vu indeed, just like warnings about someone in game one.... So yes, You COULD have done better, had you been thinking it through, or listening to those who did.... Next vote, please do. And Gamon is one step up on my suspectolist... still weak, but still. And the vote we just had was our last vote where we could kill the Inq and win. Now he will have converted someone."
  11. "You know. Shimbles is on the top of my suspecto-list but I still prefer if he does not die without our sleepy mistborn haveing showed up. Peng didnt seem to suspect him, would be a bugger if he turned out to be something important that Peng had proof about. (personally, I think there is a good chance of him being the tineye if he is not inquisitor)"
  12. It is two linked series, with a gap inbetween. I dont remember how long the gap was to be but I think brandon did say at some point.
  13. Ill go with Wes this time, despite not quite liking it. I would heavily suggest, unless peng got proof he shouldent, to hit Shimbles(while he´s sounding like the Tineye too slightly), Gamon, or possibly Kukri and bartbug. To killhappy. (Thou I vote for Wes too, those two just seem to murderous. Mind you, when I say "to hit" that may mean seeking aswell as killing.
  14. "Ah, but yer always suspicious of me Kukri. Just cause that girl like me better back in the days! Don´t ye go and try to get back at me for that. Its years ago now! "
  15. Opening the bag, and waving Roban towards starting to pour, dyring finds a small note in the bag "Hey, there is a note in here stating a number as salary for sweeping the street. You been working extra on manual labor Peng?" He then stops, eyes widening for a sec as he understands "Or wait, Ah. Righ. Nevermind!" he sais, abit subdued.
  16. Now, I´d almost trust the bugger Pong. Peng, Pang? eh, whatever. So I´d been honest with im. Me, I still worry bouth them I told ya all about earlier, them I thought acted fishy. Not sure, or I´d have em stuffed in an empty winecask with a stone in the bottom and tossed em in the canal already. But, its the best I got now. Its only one thing we can do. Its time to drink. Who wants to buy the next round?
  17. peng is still a coinshot shimble. He draws at start of night, not start of day unless Im mistaken. Went backand read through early posts(the ones made soon after we recieved a PM with our roles;)) Current top suspicions on my behalf is Shimble Gamon And well, Peng seems suspicious in his early posts too, with first wanting to kill, the stopping. It does almost seem as someone who tries to get someone to get killed, but then stops to not be high profile. But all 3 of them are really weak suspicions at this time. Not enough to vote kill on imho. And wont vote for peng at this point, while he´s the most suspicious still at this point, he´s also to strong an asset if hes telling the truth.
  18. Kurk, your making the same mistake as me. It seems the inquisitor got nothing to do with the message, it was simply a tineye. I would still like to hear from the tineye to be sure thou. Aether: And you just managed to trick some in the last game. Unfortunately, they joined you. Bart/beetle´s second run stunt to get Edge was _very_ suspicious, and once edgar turned out to really be a seeker, it was very obvious that beetle was spiked, those beliving him did so basically only cause they didnt wanna admit they should have realized it already before and didnt stop to think. Especially when Quinn, one of those wanting beetle to be killed was targeted in the night to protect him. As long as people stop to think in this game, that shouldent happend again. different situation, with just 1 "evil" at this point. "Peng is not 100% in the clear. Do not repeat old mistakes. He could very well still be the Inq. Remember meta´s comment on powers of the Inquisitor not neceserily being the same as ours. Its in no way 100% certain that the INQ can only use 1 power/night. I would so much have wanted to know if the lurcher told anyone what he was. I dislike that that tineye actually told Peng what he was already. Peng was still then quite a high suspect, and still is. I do hope that there isnt to many others who have. Unfortunately, I do not have any real suspect at this time. No killvote yet. Seekers: Do not go out openly, but IF you have confirmed Peng being what he is, then tell him of yourselves. Only then! and then target some others and bring them into your circle. If more then one seeker contacts Peng, dont let them know of eachothers, that might be a daring move by the inq, who would in that hypotetical situation know that Peng was telling the truth. Others, dont give him that info. But dont kill him, ofcourse;). And if we have a second lurcher, protect him. And dont let anyone know what you are;)"
  19. ooc - point, after rechecking rules, I find I had missunderstood something. So... count the barkeeper as simply pissed at someone getting into his bar uninvited;) "Peng have prooved hes able to shoot coins. Its a pity he used it to kill one of our innocent friends. Be that as it may. We will still need the report from seekers. Wich we propably wont get today. For all we know, Peng could still be the inquisitor. The inquisitor _might_ be able to shoot coins too. It is odd that the inquisitor managed to kill the lurcher. I do wonder if he was silly enough to tell someone, or if it was just luck. "
  20. "Your the mistborn or the inquisitor. If someone steps forward acknowledgning the writing, then yes. Unless someone is fooled" (ooc - we cant do something if the inq manages to get someone to lie for him like Bart got mail to do last game, but hopefully noone will do that mistake again here)
  21. Dyring glares all around "If the message on the wall was not written by the inquisitor, but by someone breakin into the bar at night, I want to know about it now. Step up and say who you are so we can drop this line of suspicion. And stop breakin into the bar! Yes I know your all thieves but this is part of the crew damnit!"
  22. Dyring seem to consider. He then grumbles. "to hell with secrets." And goes to kick each of the sleepers. "you, everyone, wake up." "Peng killed Lam it seems. And yet, two people died from coins today. How did the inquisitor know that Peng killed Lam before anyone else? The inquisitor must be someone who knew. Some people asked peng to let a small number know who he intended to kill. One among that small number is the inquisitor. Either one of them, or Peng himself." "given that none of those Peng told was stupid enough to tell even more people. But I hope not. So Peng, a list. WHO DID YOU TELL?"
  23. After looking at the wallscribblings, and coming to the conclusion that, yes, indeed, the inquisitor is likely raving mad in addition to being a murderous nightmare. Splendid. And it seems Lam is dead? By Peng? This seems... Dyring goes in search of Peng, waking him roughly(assuming he sleeps after a busy night ) and get him back to the bar. "That" Dyring points at the wall. He then glares as Peng, and whispers something.(PM inc)
  24. Pity you can´t overpower smoking with two seekers like you can lurching. If peng is smoked tonight, we know the inq can smoke(thou it might be peng who is the inq still then) Cause surely noone is fool enough to smoke him, like someone *cough* helped the spiked in last game. Not really any way to justify to ask for being smoked, so should be inpossible. Still, all info is good info. Tonight and tomorrow we know its still just the inq. Tomorrow night someone may be converted(if someone dies tonight, wich seems likely
  25. aye, 220 kg is 485 lbs I´m 110 kg(and 1.92 m tall), thats 240 lbs. Doesent really matter how good someone is if their much lighter. (thou I have had some training, but still)
