comic Order of the Stick

........SNEAK ATTACK! -
One of my best friends has replaced his entire circulatory system with energy drink. So much so that even a few cans of Monster is like a person's early morning coffee just to start the day

Speculation: How has Kaladin's Father changed?
ParadoxicalZen replied to Colateralwar's topic in Stormlight Archive
I'm of the opinion Roshone will be dead or is close to dying when SA3 hits. And as stated earlier in the topic, Kaladin will be ragged and exhuasted and most likely taken for runaway slave. The rest of the town will most likely be scornful/loathing but given the current situation it could be demoted to a trivial thing. I'm still hoping Jasnah comes along and marshals everyone into order. Really eager to see when Lirin and Hesina see Kaladin...you will definitely hear the penny drop- 44 replies

I actually like John Simm's portrayal. I found it chilling, exuberant and hilariously eccentric; someone had genuinely looked into the Time Vortex and had the cracks to show for it, like Hoid but with a slightly more Sadistic outlook.

My guess is given Odium's previous dealings with other Shards, in particular; Elantris/Mistborn/Minor Cosmere Spoilers that he probably got a little over-confident in his abilities, and considering Honour isn't too great at seeing the future, Odium could have underestimated him and probably thought that he knew exactly what Honour was going to do.

Constantly using Abrasion accidentally, causing you to fall/trip (at least you won't get back ache from constantly falling due to Stormlight heals)

The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon
ParadoxicalZen replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Is the God Beyond meant to be a literary incarnation of yourself, (Brandon) or is it some aloof inconceivable 'being' that drives those not like itself kayana due to them being unable to comprehend it's 'physical'/actual state? -
How are these two books tied together?
ParadoxicalZen replied to SteelSlinger's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
IIRC, MaiPon and Jindo were originally one civilisation/kingdom (or something similar) until they split. -

Or perhaps the Time Vortex Incarnate? And Hoid is a bio-engineered genetic hybrid of the Master/Mistress and the Doctor *tinfoilhatexplodes*

You should have called her Kayana and challenged her to a Shardblade duel to the Death instead ....or not.

This...so much i cannot even. Whilst I may not severely hate the non-existent prequels, I would have preferred, if they were to be reality, that they actually be cohesive and coherent. Nothing more vexing than inconsistencies in canon Lore (Wildhammer fact checker knows what i'm talking about). But if prequels were to be accepted as legit corporeal things, my list would look like this; 1. Return of the Jedi 2/3. Empire Strikes Back 2/3. A New Hope 4. Revenge of the Sith 5. Attack of the Clones 6. Phantom Menace Granted, the original trilogy has its own inconsistencies but they're aren't as bad as the prequel trilogy that must not be named. Lucas should take a leaf out of Brandon's book (haha) and make a wiki for this sorta thing

I didn't the details of it until I looked up on it, but I wasn't focusing on every detail as I was eager to know what was going to happen in the story. As a result, stuff that should have been a red flag i'd either forgotten or missed. As said before, I'm keeping an open mind until we have direct confirmation.

Thereby creating one of the hugest time paradoxes in the history of...well time? No daleks, no time-war

Similarities between Pathism and Vorinism
ParadoxicalZen replied to WayneSpren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I thought the Ten Rings (Hail the Mandarin!) symbolism came from when the Inquisitor (Marsh i think) caused Saze's rings to become embedded in his stomach? -
Forgot to add in my previous about how Vo died on the trip to the mainland due to not receiving breath (IIRC, they didn't know about Breaths/Awakening/Breath transferral back then). It was a few hundred years before the Manywar, and the Chadesh were new to the land so they might have only learnt about Awakening/Commands/Breaths in the decades preceding the Manywar). Oh i know, my post was just in response to anarchitect's. As I said before, until we have a more than a rough timeline, It's hard to make an accurate answer (but from what i can tell from what numbers we have, there is some credence for your theory Corax)

I'm guessing one is for Windrunners and the other is for the Windrunner's patron Herald aka Jezrien (I seem to recall the Honourblade changing shape discussion about some glyphs appearing similar to/symbolising particular Heralds)
-
Bear in mind, Returned only last a week without receiving a single breath to sustain them (or some other form of substitute Investiture) so Vo couldn't have Worldhopped himself (as he Returned on the trip to the mainland and received visions of the Five Iridescent Tones/Austre monks beliefs etc. etc.) I took that as he is just the third kind of Invested Blade to appear, not so much that it was based on a Sprenblade. I'm leaning towards your second explanation The first part is very interesting, so it makes me wonder what connection it might have. The second part I'm not quite grasping the relevance to Nalthis/Returned. EDIT: spelling and grammar

I now want to see Nightblood unsheathed in the Everstorm.

I'm seeing potential for a 3-4 coloured Ally/Awaken deck, possibly combining Vorel, Kiora and Noyan Dar, might require a bit too much ramp though, not to mention you'll be down mana if those man-lands are killed
