It is metallic, but it also tastes sort of . . . Salty or maybe sour? It comes from the tastebuds on the back of my tongue. I'll be excited for that once my tongue and lower lip stop being numb and I'm able to swallow.

Just got my wisdom teeth removed . . . My face is swollen, my jaws ache, and all I can taste is blood. Yay.

You might not know this, (or you might not know me, in which case: hi, I'm Honor Spren) but I like to draw. I figured it could give me more motivation and help me improve if I posted all my art here. Feel free to ask questions and give critiques (or praise, you know. . . if you feel like it ) First off, there's this picture I drew a month ago of this guy: It has issues, and I wasn't going to post any of my older art on here, but this is my most recent drawing of a male. Plus, it's my only drawing of a guy that I don't hate. I got a new pack of prismacolor pencils a few days ago and the next two will be done with them. I love these pencils. I realized that I almost never draw people of color, so this drawing is an attempt to help fix that. I'm not sure if I pulled it off very well. Also, if anyone is wondering why her legs are almost black, those are tights. This one is a drawing of my favorite OC, Eneless. It's also probably the best thing I've ever drawn. I'm especially proud of her hair and her magic. Bonus: I have taken up zentangling again! It's basically cool looking doodling.

I think it has potential. With the basic plot line you have here, it could be an interesting and engaging story. Keep going with these ideas and try to think of ways to make this story unique to you. It does remind me of Mistborn some, but there are ways you can make it different. It also reminds me of a webcomic named Kubera. You should read it sometime.

Does the animation style remind anyone else of Infinity Blade?

You know how sometimes you just feel like sharing a random story? When I was about 12, I was on a camping trip with my friends. We went on a walk out to this slide-type thing made out of half of a large pipe. I was wearing flip flops and on the way back, I stepped in some mud. As I got my feet unstuck, one of my flip flops came off. I turned around and it was just gone. We tried digging around a little, but we couldn't find it anywhere. I still don't know what happened to that shoe. Rest in peace flip flop. You had a good sole.

Oh hey, it's the Question thread! I haven't been on one of these in a while . . . I think I'd like to come back into the rp (if my 2 posts count as being in it in the first place). It's approaching the holidays, so I'll have more time. But I think I'd need a different character. Magnolia was meh. I have an epic named Lightweaver (guess what her powers are, I'm so original) could I use her? And maybe a different thread besides Astoria too . . . Sorry, I'm rambling.

I saw Moana today! I would definitely recommend it. The animation is gorgeous, Lin Manuel Miranda's music is amazing (as expected), and for anyone who cares, there is a post credits scene so stay for that. And I got hit by a car on my bike. Do you know how annoying it is to not be able to fully use your right wrist?

Oh. I have one. It was my first story idea ever. I had just recently read Eragon, and I was inspired. My hero, Erif, and his brother, Nithgil, were farmers in their small village at the edge of the evil empire. A volcano explodes and only they escape. Afterwards they meet two elven half-sisters named Eneless and Thiglnus (which I later changed to Thiglena). Cue dragons, dwarves, magic, and the revelation that Eneless's father was the evil emperor. ✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:*(◕ᴗ◕✿) *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ Though I have since recycled these characters and they're okay now.

Oh wow, I did not expect the response I just got. Thank you for all the positive feedback! But I do still feel like I could have done better. And I will do better next time I paint. Sometimes I may feel like I'm nowhere near where I want to be, but that's okay because I'm still 15 and I have plenty of time for improvement. Thanks for helping me realize that! (b^_^)b
