Boop-de-doop. When I was trying to come up with his third expression, I noticed that both of my previous expressions were negative. I wanted to have his reaction to something that made him happy . . . The only thing that you mentioned making him happy was goats. So, it kind of just morphed into chibi Aster with a hoofed companion.

I don't know if I should even be posting this on here. It's not like I have huge problems like the other people on here. I just . . . I went babysitting last night. I got paid, but I didn't even look at the money when I got it, I just stuffed it in my bag. When I went to go look in my bag this morning, the money wasn't there. It must have fallen out somewhere, but I looked every where in my house that it could have fallen and it's no where to be seen. It's fine. It's whatever. I was only going to spend it on art supplies. But if I can't keep track of my money when it's going to be used for something trivial, how am I supposed to do any better when I get older and need it for food? When I need it for gas? It's not like I even did anything while babysitting. The girl was already asleep when I got there; I just spent the whole time drawing Cognizantastic's OC. I didn't even really earn payment. No matter how much I keep telling myself these things, it doesn't change the fact that I'm really mad.

Hey guess what? The thread's not dead! @Cognizantastic I took the liberty of making his outfit more than just black. I meant for his expression to be focused, but I don't think I achieved that. . . . I liked doing the highlights in his hair and blending his shirt. @Pinnacle-Ferring I will do your team, but since your's is kind of the equivalent of four requests, I'm going to do Oversleep's, A Budgie's, Edgedancer's, and Quiver's requests before I do yours. Hope you don't mind too much. @Quiver no need to worry about your OC. I'm actually really excited to figure out what she should look like.

@Quiver I found that interesting to read. I don't really have anything to comment on it though, because I only know the MCU. (There are probably hardcore marvel fans who despise people like me . . .) And . . . Finished! I did the one on the bottom left more cartoony than my usual style. I had fun with the colors and focused on blending them. I didn't realize before hand, but it turns out that drawing three faces takes longer than drawing one person from full body. I also noticed in one of her reference photos, that her mom is Erza? Is that man next to her, her dad, because, iF YOU THINK ERZA MARRIED ANYONE OTHER THAN JELLAL, YOU HAVE ANOTHER THING COMING-- I mean, I am disappointed in your shipping choices.

That was a fun one to draw! I went ahead and read a little bit of What Happened in Portland for extra information. At first I thought that I could draw him with his vulture on his arm, but then I realized that I don't know how to draw a vulture and while making a picture for someone else is not the best time to learn. So, I imagine this as him giving Funtimes the death glare for turning his radio into a piece of steak.

I've read advice that says, don't waste time on the descriptions, world building information, and internal monologue about friendship or whatever. Write it more like you're right there, the one being punched at. It should feel fast paced and maybe even a little frantic.

So, I was wondering if, given all the positive feedback I got when I drew Funtimes, maybe I should start a thing where I draw other people's OCs for practice. Sort of like commissions, but the instead of paying money, you just have to be willing to wait for however long it takes me. Would there be any interest for that?

Yes YEs YES!!! I love it. I was a huge fan of the books, and this exceeded my expectations. Also, did anyone else catch in episode 2, when Count Olaf said "I'm just having my morning tea, though I can't seem to find the sugar bowl???" I literally squealed when I heard that.

It's been forever since I posted on here. I started a 52 week illustration challenge, and this week's prompt was "feathered animals." I had to look at a lot of references for this one. I also find it kind of funny that it was harder for me to draw the bird, than the wings on the girl. Bonus: This was my drawing for when the promo was "reflection."
