The news article says Cosmere, but I do wonder if anything else was included. If not, maybe someone else will pick up Steelheart? I think that would be an (ahem) Epic movie. -
Nice, I really thought we needed one more cycle! I was buying items to take out Stick, and actually screwed up (I bought a stunFist, which I was already going to have, instead of a pulseShield to make sure I'd survive). Good to know it wasn't needed! Also, sorry, Assassin, for working so closely with you at the end, only to (literally) stab you in the back. Or front, I suppose. Oh, and thanks for the introduction to Red Rising, Aman! I'm close to finishing Morning Star, and the whole series has been amazing. Thanks for running such a great game, too!

Wow, the pessimism is strong in this thread. I've said before that I don't think Roshar of Scadrial will be as difficult or expensive to depict as people think. Studio filming with physical props for the ground and rockbuds, etc on Roshar would be awesome, for instance. I'd like to see Mistborn, Emperor's Soul, or Elantris first, but WoK could be really good, with today's technology, and with the tech 4-5 years from now when they're actually filming and editing? More than good enough I expect. -
I saw he posted it on Facebook and so did Tor! Amazing to see, and now I'm just crossing my fingers that they really make it epic.

I dunno, but it'd be less about impersonating me and more about just picking a patsy just in case they were followed. They might have just picked an active player that wasn't Forsworn, not specifically to target me, but just as an insurance policy. (Because if anyone tried to follow them, that would have failed, but unlike the ghostCloak, they can still go make a kill.)

Thanks! I don't know who would have done that, but if Jefry isn't lying, it could have been someone else covering their tracks in case they were followed.

I thought of something, Jefry. If someone used a fleshMask to look like me, would Jefry have followed them and seen their actions instead, Aman?

Why would I want to eliminate you, if I was Forsworn, Jefry? I've been saying for a while I was suspicious of you. If I had a blade and killed you, I'd clear your name instantly with everyone else and make myself look suspicious. However, that's an excellent way for you to try to incriminate me by claiming the ghostCloak let you see that. Assassin, I've been talking to you and I'm convinced you're good, so you get my cheer.

Darrow is the Carved Red (doesn't spoil much, but if anyone hasn't read the books I don't want to say much more). I'm only mildly suspicious of Jefry, because he's been quiet, but my suspicions haven't been as good as I hoped so far.

Wooow. I'll come back and post more once I digest that, but that was...amazing. Guess someone found a way through Mage's cracks, though it took her down in the process. It's too bad she pushed for Lopen so hard, though, I wonder if she could have survived otherwise (since we don't know who The Carved Red is).

He's just trying to throw around suspicion. I'm honestly suspecting neither is Forsworn, but I'd rather keep Lopen than Burnt since Burnt forced the issue by starting the duel. I trust Lopen more right now.

I have to say, I'm more pro-Lopen than anti-Burnt, despite the reasoning laid out in my previous post. If you or someone else can suggest a more convincing target, I'd be fine with potentially switching to cheer a different duel. I'll be a bit surprised if that happens, since no one seems to have much hard information, but I'm open to hearing anything.

Nice. I think I remember seeing that now, though I'd totally forgotten. That could be really crazy. Without trying to make them hemalurgic spikes like that question was adding, I suspect it would work quite well.

Huh, interesting. I think we need to ask Brandon if a Kandra could use a metal skeleton. Seems like it would have potential to interfere, but if it doesn't, that could lead to some crazy possibilities.

I know, and we've said that all along. There's other reasons to trust Lopen too, mostly via PMs with other people, and I'm fairly confident in my conclusions. And yes, I think Mage would be pushing for a "lynch" of you for a while. Because he probably knows that you have protection of some sort, and thinks ya'll can use it to either pull suspicion from you, or that you can take someone else out instead. Or perhaps there's a Forsworn Fabii and he thinks ya'll can just sway any vote to make sure you win and defeat whoever challenges you. I'm pretty sure I'd make plans like that if I were Forsworn.

Honestly, I've been pretty convinced by Lopen, and Doc thought he was clear, and he revealed the ways to possibly kill Mage (who I'm sure was already aware of those, or at least most of them, so that could only have helped us as the Faithful). Hence, I'm not as trusting of you since you're powering after him, even though you've also claimed to be suspicious of Mage for a while (but honestly, everyone has been, and you would have known he was mostly unkillable, so that doesn't earn you anything in my eyes). Therefore, I'm going to cheer Lopen.

Oops, got that mixed up. I'm still honestly completely unsure who we should try to lynch. I don't know that it's a good idea to let a cycle go by without a duel, since that would probably just play into the Forsworn's hands (they should have gotten a blade last cycle they can use this time around, and they'll continue to get blades), but other than Magestar, who seems pretty much confirmed as Forsworn to me, I can't really decide on anyone, and Mage is gonna be pretty much impossible to beat in a duel. Still have feelers out for contacts who can help me try to kill him, btw, if I survive long enough (hopefully he doesn't think I'm that much of a threat, since I've said this publicly a few times now ).

No worries, Jefry! I'd been meaning to mention, btw, you're the only other person I've seen who spells his name the same way as my dad. Kinda cool to see. No hard feelings about your sister, I hope? (Outside of the RP itself, that is.)
