Found it in the annotations for AoL, actually, but yeah, that's not one. I think it's been indicated (by Khriss) that she expects Twinborns to have one, but I don't think we've seen any examples, like you said.

It's believed that Wax's steel bubble is one, though I don't remember if that's proven incorrect.

Sticking with you, Nyali. I think you're being clever and trying to divert attention, but only Doc and I went for you last time, and Doc is confirmed clean. You're my best bet right now by far.

Based on my previous suspicions and the talk so far, I'm putting my vote on Nyali. *crosses fingers*

Creatures affected by emotional allomancy
Jondesu replied to emailanimal's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Eh, one of the artifabrians might be more than willing, or just pay some schmuck to sit in a chair and feel mood swings all day. Not a bad gig, honestly. It's like my tech support job, but without the actual work.- 11 replies

Creatures affected by emotional allomancy
Jondesu replied to emailanimal's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I think this part is pretty clearly what Brandon was hinting at. Emotional allomancy may or may not affect spren directly, but if you riot someone's emotions, those emotions should certainly draw the appropriate spren. Which leads to an interest idea: fabrials trap spren, right? Could a Rioter make good money drawing in the right spren for artifabrians to collect by rioting the emotion corresponding to the spren they need?- 11 replies

Long Game 28: The Awakening at the House on the Hill
Jondesu replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
There is a big difference this game, though. Inactives can become Elims when someone else gets an omen, but if they're truly inactive they might not even realize for a little while. An inactive Elim is a bit less of a threat, fortunately, but there could definitely be Elims among the inactives in this game.- 980 replies

Shardkeepers Podcast on Nightblood and Investiture
Jondesu replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Considering Nightblood is basically a "broken Shardblade" in my mind (Brandon has called something like robot Spren, and being living but not really alive would qualify for me), that makes a lot of sense. He's like a broken bottle, so the Investiture leaks out (not as much the original breath, since it's "sticky", but everything else he's picked up definitely). -

@Ookla the Insipid, if you're primarily in Tokyo, the winter will be cold, but you might not see any snow. I was there from Jan-Mar one year and we just got a light dusting one time. It's only really bad up north more. -
Long Game 28: The Awakening at the House on the Hill
Jondesu replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Were you able to follow and keep track of the vote changes there? I know mine of course, but I lost some of it. It'd be interesting to note who voted for Arinian and who then retracted it, in addition to me, and if anyone else was doing similar things in reverse (I know my vote switching was the most frenzied, but I explained that).- 980 replies

Long Game 28: The Awakening at the House on the Hill
Jondesu replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Assassin is mostly my biggest suspicion of those four, and I don't have enough of a read to be confident proposing a new target right now. I'm open to being swayed, and I would of course also like to avoid a no-lynch round, but I suspect that will come from someone else breaking the tie in the end. EDIT: Ack, I'm worried that there's a bigger risk in having no lynch than risking that Arinian will be innocent, so I'm sorry Arinian, but I'm changing my vote. Arinian Assassin- 980 replies

Doc, thanks for responding. I'm seriously questioning that logic of you or Nyali being evil, though Wonko still isn't off the hook completely. That said, I am being swayed over by the consistent focus on polking, even though it's been a small amount so far. Switching again (sorry): polking Doc

I've been trying to analyze the posts by Nyali and Doc this cycle, and compared to their previous cycles, since I'm fairly confident one of them is evil, as I've said. Doc has a big long post with some great analysis and even has one of the more favorable positions on myself, but I don't want to let that skew my opinion since I know he tends to play that way. Nyali seems to also be providing helpful info, with the possible paths to victory/defeat, and I guess I'm finding she sounds more earnest right now. So at this point, I'm gonna go with my gut impression of those posts mostly and vote on Doc.

Long Game 28: The Awakening at the House on the Hill
Jondesu replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm being cautious about my contributions now since in both current games I'm apparently coming across as suspicious, and I don't feel like I've gotten great reads on people overall. What reads I think I've gotten have tended to be wrong. I am finding it odd for both Aralis and Straw are calling out Nightspud (Assassin), without much reasoning. Aralis at least had some reason, but not a good one in my opinion, while Straw literally just called it a gut read without saying anything else. I'm not saying I think Assassin is good, necessarily, but he hasn't stood out to me, and they seem to be teaming up while intentionally separating their posts. I've had a read on Aralis for a little while but had been waiting because I thought I might have been getting them mixed up with Arinian, but I was able to resolve that in my mind, so Aralis. What do you have to say?- 980 replies

She came back and explained, and in fact had already resolved it in her mind, so we're good for now (on that part at least). -

Just had a big fight with my wife, and thought we'd reached a point of understanding at least, and then she stormed off after we'd stopped talking for a while and I have no idea why...
