  1. Absolutely agreed on all three guesses.
  2. This looks like a great opportunity for Quintus to make his triumphant return!
  3. Sorry to be absent! I think our turn is over, but I agree with Renarin and Shallan definitely.
  4. Did it! Even though you didn't tag me.
  5. There’s really nothing else it could be. Claude Aradel and Kandra to make it official.
  6. I can’t see any more likely options myself. I’d agree with those choices, slightly reluctantly because they feel like a stretch, but knowing I can’t find any better.
  7. I think Shardhammer is almost blatantly Sadeas, so let's go with that.
  8. I’ll join only if needed to reach the minimum number of players. Otherwise I’m happy to be a pinch hitter.
  9. @Rhapsody, I'm always ok with someone being right. Seriously, though, I would have agreed had I been on in time. We could technically take another guess, but since we don't have any more clues to work with, I'd vote to Pass Turn.
  10. Well, sorry, Bort, for that last suspicion, but fortunately I didn’t gain traction. Yay team, you did well!
  11. So it seems most of us are deciding between Xino or Phatt, but Bort is worrying me. He’s going after phatt pretty hard, which isn’t necessarily an elim move, but then says we’re handing the Elims the game if we’re wrong, right after changing his vote? That move is one I’ve seen from people who ended up being elims. Bort, you’ve got my vote right now.
  12. Woah, surprise! OK, let's make our other two guesses from before official again. I'm still confident in those. Svrakiss Roial I'm not sure if we really have any other hints that will help, though. Do we have to just guess randomly and hope we get lucky, or does someone remember something useful?
  13. I wouldn't be able to participate enough to do this justice, but I'm intrigued. Are you planning to have a spec doc?
  14. Remart snorted. The Synod was losing its power slowly but surely. Why not elect someone such as Count Olaf and watch the chaos ensue?
  15. It’s been quite a while! Anyone still playing Pokémon Go? With the new friends feature I thought we could share some codes (and help us all out). My code is 6685 6019 0966 if anyone wants to add me!
  16. Probably true, though I can think of a few reasons for someone to keep their head down even when they could be cleared, if they want to survive and not be killed off by Elims. Actually, wait, that's the reason. Still, Alv certainly would have been able to make the kill, and it wouldn't surprise me.
  17. I don't know that I agree with putting Roial over Svrakiss, just because the clue could have been Elantris if Roial was the goal. Using Sel as the goal makes me think Kidpin wanted us to think of things on Sel not directly connected to Elantris necessarily. I do agree with Arelon still, but I would put Svrakiss next I think. Also, we only get 3 guesses, so there's no point in putting in four. We got 2 as a clue and we get one extra (if I remember the rules correctly) rather than getting unlimited guesses. They can be for anything we like, regardless of the hint, but we are limited in the number. I'd put out guesses in as Ambition, Arelon, and Svrakiss, personally.
  18. That's fair, but in actuality it's just my play style (it didn't used to be, but it has been for a while). I haven't been doing a lot of detailed analysis for a number of games now, and in fact mostly just go on gut reads. I used to do analysis, but I found I was usually wrong anyways, and often ignored or intentionally suppressed my gut feelings, which lost games for me, so I switched my play style completely. I want to know why people think there's only one Spiked in the Synod? Balance reasons? I don't get this currently push that way, or why anyone's considering other Synod members cleared (if we can even trust anyone claiming to be in the Synod).
  19. So I'm back online, after not getting the morning like I thought (I was able to read on mobile, but didn't feel it was worthwhile posting at the time with what I could have put together). I said my vote would fall on Bort, CadCom, Alv, Ark/I'm Pretty, or Araris. I feel somewhat vindicated to find that one of my list was in fact an Elim! Props to whoever took Araris out. One of my list also wasn't an Elim, but of course I knew they couldn't all be. Of the remaining three there, though, I feel like it's very likely another Elim remains in that group (and yes, I know this is more gut than actual analysis), and of the three, I'm more worried about Bort flying under the radar, but they're away for the moment and I don't like voting on people who have explained absences. I'm Pretty is new, so while I'm willing to place a vote Day 3, that also means the lack of votes or even much discussion could be from them being new, and they are being discussed right now. Rand I do find somewhat worrying now, but I have to keep in mind my usual impression of him is wary, and Steel feels like he's trying to act like he's playing normal, and yet, of course he is playing about the way I normally expect, so I got nothing on him. I think I'll stick to my guns and vote for Cadmium Compounder for now, for the originally stated reasons of thinking the Elims are hiding at least another member in that group, but I'm willing to be swayed to vote for Bort or someone else since the reasoning on any one particular player is weak.
  20. Wow, less time than I expected I'd have. I won't go back through, but I just want to note that the discussion so far has centered on players who I suspect are all very much village. According to Fifth Scholar's vote count: We have 11 living players who didn't have a vote on them. My guess is that the Elims have been having a nice laid-back discussion so far and haven't been getting much attention to themselves, because of the feel of the conversations I've seen. People have lots of votes flying around, but not much in the way of major reasoning (understandable on Day 2, when those votes were cast), but my guess is those 11 players are where we need to focus (although I would exclude myself from that list personally, knowing my own alignment and all, but I know ya'll can't). My vote during the next cycle (which I'll try to get up in the morning, when I expect to have a little free time) will be going on one of Bort, CadCom, Alv, Phatt (edit: I'm dumb, they had a vote), Ark, or Araris, I think, but I have to go through the posts and firm up my suspicions.
  21. I'll join the chorus of apologies. I did read the thread several times yesterday, and then logged on to post just a few minutes after the end of the cycle *facepalm*. My bad. I know most of what I have to say will sound like hindsight, and it certainly will be affected by that, but I'll post when I get home from work with some legitimate thoughts, I hope.
  22. Let's make it official since it sounds like we're all in agreement. Silverlight.
  23. I would think Silverlight more than Ambition, definitely. Ambition feels like a stretch. An ambitious one, in fact.
