  1. There was another trailer released about a week ago, so it isn't really new, but I just saw it for the first time. As with the first one, it is pretty brutal, but it still looks very promising. All episodes will be put on Netflix tomorrow, so I'm really excited for that. I suppose we can discuss the show here.
  2. As as been stated multiple times already, Wayne as a worldhopper would be incredible. I would also love to see Marsh and TenSoon become worldhoppers, and I'm partially convinced that since the two of them have been around for centuries, and they were friends with Sazed, Sazed must have at least told them that there are events going on outside of their world. Especially after the events of Shadows of Self, it may be important that they know what is going on. I could for sure see them acting as agents for Harmony.
  3. I've missed out on a bunch of Pokemon as well. Haven't played Diamond/Pearl, Black/White, X/Y, or Gold/Silver. I am playing through Omega Ruby right now, and I love the 3D features. I'm on my way to the elite four right now, and I'm looking forward to beating them, cause I've heard there is a ton more to do once the story is over. Have you played any of the Mystery Dungeon games? I played the first one all the time as a kid, and a new one is releasing soon, and me and my roomate are both going to get it. Hoping it will be as good as I remember.
  4. Can't say I was a huge fan of drunk Qrow, but I do think I'll end up enjoying his character. I also think that the interactions between Sun (or is it Son?) and Neptune are absolutely hilarious. As for songs, I love all of them, the soundtrack is incredible. If I had to chose, I'd have to say Mirror Mirror or I Burn. Mirror is beautiful, and captures Weiss' character perfectly. Burn on the other hand is fast-paced and absolutely epic.
  5. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed RWBY. I watched all of Volume One and Two in a day, and I'm looking forward to what Volume 3 has in store for us. Who's your favorite character? I really like Weiss, and Ruby is sometimes to adorable and funny it hurts.
  6. Haha no problem! There'll be plenty of opportunities for more movies!
  7. Anyone else coming? Right now I'm the only one in the chat room.
  8. So does 8 p.m (Eastern Standard Time) still work for everybody? Should we move it to 9-ish for Lark?
  9. Sorry to show my complete lack of knowledge on the subject, but I do have a few more questions: 1. I've noticed a ton of "What Happened In Enter City Name". I'm assuming these are the different RP. Do characters and events from these crossover, do I need to look through them all? 2. Despite the fact that I have yet to read Reckoners, I've noticed that many of the characters have superpowers. Would my characters powers have to be unique, or could they be the same as some of the other characters? 3. How do I know when it is my turn to write part of the story? Sorry if these are some dumb questions. I do look forward to joining the craziness that this seems to be. Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick these books up until I get home for Thanksgiving Break in about a week. But I'll see you guys then!
  10. Dumb question: I kinda want to get into this but I haven't yet read any of the Reckoners books (I WILL DON'T HURT ME)! I'm assuming I should read those before getting in on the action? Also, can someone give me a simple explanation on what an RP exactly is?
  11. I'm not sure how late this is, but Vampire and Vampire Hunter are now a permanent part of the game!
  12. Well, never went to my high school prom. I suppose that this would be an amazing alternative!
  13. Art really can be fascinating. In my art class we are learning about The Mask of Hanuman, which represents a monkey-hero follower of Rama. It represents a divine monkey. THAT IS AWESOME
  14. Some of those questions are spot on! The bodyguards are indeed soulless monsters, and while their soul and mind has been broken, their body has somehow been enhanced, and some of the main characters are trying to figure out how that is possible. I'm not sure if he should have any control over light, but I have had an idea that he could create shadows where there should normally be none. The base cards typically involve multiple functions, the one for the warrior increases balance, endurance, and strength. The more powerful cards typically only have one or two functions, or else they could be pretty OP. The Osterix does indeed have a Leadership Card. The idea on how the cards get their power, and this may change, is that someone who wishes to attach a higher level card (since Base Cards are typically all the same) does not choose what the card does, but upon attaching the Card, the Card reads that persons soul, and grants them a power the Card feels is needed. I'm still not sure what I think about that process, so I might try and think of a new way.
  15. I honestly have no idea. Also, I LOVE Majora's Mask so your avatar gets a 10 from me. That is the statue from Ben Drowned, I'm assuming?
  16. That's probably one of the coolest pony avatars I've seen so far. I would ride that into battle.
  17. Thanks! I really do appreciate the feedback! And yeah, I probably should of expanded on the whole assassin thing. Basically, the government controls the distribution of the Cards, and the common people don't really get any. The Osterix is also not a terribly kind fellow, and will force stronger individuals to Attach four or five Cards (which remember, is not good) just so they could be stronger bodyguards and soldiers. He also has a small band of deadly assassins, which were also forced to have a high number of cards. The other reason I mentioned the assassin is because one of the main characters (who is not involved with the gov't or nigh society) managed to get his hands on a few Cards, and followed the assassin path. His Base Card allows his body to become absolutely silent. His footsteps and breathing are silent, and if for whatever reason he sneezes or coughs while sneaking about, no noise would be made. His stronger Card grants him manipulation of shadows. I'm sorry if this doesn't make a whole lot of sense, let me know if you have any questions. I''m actually working on Chapter One right now, and while I don't have a whole lot of time, I do want to see what you guys think of it. Also, your idea is pretty interesting as well! Spells being more-so related to heritage and family is pretty cool!
  18. Hmmm, I suppose that could work. But in order to have an even amount of people, we would either need exactly 16 or 32 Sharders involved in this. And if we had 32 Sharders, and didn't want any repeat characters, that would mean we would have 64 characters. I'm totally down for doing it that way, it would just take a lot of work and time. And say we reached 32 sharders, and a few others wanted to participate, I don't know what to say to them. I doubt we could get 64 sharders onto this, and even if we did, and each match lasted a day, the draft and the tournament itself would last a VERY long time.
  19. The animation styles of Atlantis and Treasure Planet are VERY similar, and the two were made around the same time. The plots for the two of them are similar as well. Atlantis is about a journey to a legendary lost city in the sea, Treasure Planet is about a journey to a legendary lost planet.
  20. Yeah, I kind of agree. So team tournament it is! So some clarification: Do we have people in teams from the start, or have a similar setup as last time, but instead of voting for only one contestant, their would be a third option for a team up. I also had an idea that kinda combines the Sharder and Team Tournaments. It is probably a flawed idea, and I haven't really stopped to think about it, but oh well. Instead of a bunch of people nominating characters, what if every Sharder "drafted" two Sanderson characters, and that was their team. This of course does have a major issue. If we didn't want any repeat characters, meaning that once a character was placed on someone's team, no one else could use them. That would mean that those who posted earlier would have a HUGE advantage over those who picked late. They could pick two extremely powerful characters, giving the others the short stick. But still, I suppose it is an idea worth considering. What do y'all think?
  21. Alright, sorry for the wait guys. I like the idea of a 17th Sharder tournament and a team tournament. My only concern with the team tournament is that we would probably be reusing several characters, but I suppose since we would be throwing in new elements it would be changing things up. So what do you guys want to do? If we were to do a sharder tournament, how would we determine who wins? If we did a team tournament, would people be in teams from the beginning, or could they team up along the way? I suppose we could do both, but since they would be in different threads I feel as if we would be clogging the General Brandon Discussion up with all kinds of tournaments. Suggestions? And if anybody else would want to host these, since they weren't my idea, just let me know!
  22. I am proud to announce that the hall I'm living in has had it's first broken bone of the year! A few guys had the ingenious idea of getting two sets of boxing gloves and duking it out. One thing led to another, and someone's nose got broken!
  23. For being really good at Town of Salem! As well as being perhaps the greatest troll on the entire site!
