  1. So I have an idea for bringing this back. I thought about perhaps making this a yearly thing. Every October 1st, the next annual tournament will start. This has a range of benefits: Enough time will have passed to where people might want to do this again. There will likely be new Sharders who will have a chance to participate. We will have had several new books (Shadows of Self, Bands of Mourning, Secret History, Calamity, White Sand Vol. 1) so we will have many new characters to chose from. Thoughts/Ideas?
  2. I believe we can add Vasher/Zahel to that list. There is also the Terriswoman that it highly suspected to be the nurse in Warbreaker. I believe her name is Aslydin, though I may be wrong on that account.
  3. Windrunner: 10 Skybreaker:10 Dustbringer: 10 Edgedancer: 8 Lightweaver: 11 Elsecaller: 11 Truthwatcher: 10 Bondsmith: 8 Willshaper: 10 Stoneward: 10
  4. My family actually has four different viewpoints on Christmas. Myself (Atheist): I love Christmas for a few different reasons. Foremost among those is the atmosphere. Whenever Christmas time roles around, I just feel happy. It typically means a break from school, so I don't have to deal with as much stress as I normally do. I like the songs (in moderation, that is) I like the lights, and I like the decorations. I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy getting them gifts. For me, Christmas is a time of peace and relaxation. Brother (Atheist): He honestly doesn't care for Christmas all that much. He likes being able to relax, but he doesn't get into the "Christmas Spirit" as much as I do. Father (Christian): He celebrates the birth of Christ, but more than anything he enjoys being off work for a few days and being able to spend time with our family. Doesn't really care for decorations, presents, etc. Mother (Christian): A mixture of myself and my dad. She celebrates the birth of Christ, while also getting more into the Christmas mood like I do. She loves having the whole family together. Hope this helped!
  5. Honor is dead.

  8. Granted. You will spend the entire weekend in a coma. I wish for a box full of goldfish.
  9. Honor: 9 Cultivation: 8
  10. Endowment: 8 Honor: 10 Cultivation: 6 Technically, they're all good guys.

  13. I wouldn't be against this. I just finished it the other day, and I'm still thinking about the ending.
  14. It is indeed.
  15. On the topic of Pokemon, I've been meaning to finish Omega Ruby for awhile now. Not sure why I haven't gotten around to it yet. Anybody excited for Pokemon Sun and Moon? Not including Omega Ruby, I actually haven't played and games after Gen 3, but this one, for whatever reason, has piqued my interest. I also just bought the Fallout 4 season pass. For those still thinking about doing so, do it soon, because on March 1st the price for it is going up. I'm looking forward to the Far Harbor DLC, which I believe will be released sometime in April/May.
  16. Granted, but it won't happen for a few hundred years. I wish that I never have to write another paper for my English class ever again.
  17. I have a general outline on how the story will go, but that outline can always change, and it more than likely will. Just after writing these first few chapters I've already discovered new elements that I can add to the story. Once I actually start writing, it gets much easier to plot out what I want to happen next. And thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you're enjoying it!
  18. Never in my life have I gone from absolutely heartbroken to pure happiness that quickly. But man, that first comic one is just plain cruel.
  19. I'm like an older cousin that is never at the house but will occasionally show up to say hello and snag some food. You might occasionally see me wandering around random locations.
  20. Would storing zinc at a very high rate be dangerous? Since you're storing so much mental speed, could your thought process slow down to the point where you become so dull-witted you no longer realize what you're doing, and enter a coma-like state?
  21. How is it? I've been itching to get myself a copy but I don't have the money yet.
  22. Granted, but immediately after you are inducted into the order, BOOM! Order 66. I wish that I will get an A on my English essay.
  23. Apologies, I just reviewed the spoiler policy and it stated that after February 9th, Secret History would be allowed to be discussed in other forums. Still though, I think it would be nice if the creator of the thread used the spoiler tags to make sure anybody who hadn't yet read the book didn't accidentally spoil themselves.
  24. The first post in the thread details exactly what happens at the end of Secret History. No matter what is being discussed, I think that any thread containing spoilers of events that happen in Secret History should be moved to the Secret History Board.
