If I had to choose one thing it would be to find out more about Cultivation’s influence on Roshar. I feel like we know the least about this and hope to get at least some knowledge in OB. Other than that pretty much anticipating Brandon blowing my mind! I seriously doubt it but a tiny tiny part of me is worried I’m overhyping the book in my mind and could get let down somehow. I highly doubt it though Chaos’s review kinda put that to rest for me.

A year is 500 days so a 17 year old is around a 23 year old compared to earth and a 23 year old would be 31 earth years.

Brandon said one Herald went back and got their blade after they broke the Oathpack. I’ve assumed it was Nale. The Shin have the rest of the blades besides the one Szeth lost to Kaladin and then Mr T said something about how they were missing one more that had the power of re-growth but that was probably a lie to make Szeth think he was still Truthless. So yes most of the Heralds are without blades that we know of and wouldn’t have surges as far as what we have been lead to understand.

It’s like why did I torture myself with this?!?? Tried a couple more stores today no luck. I figure it’s highly unlikely to find it mistakenly placed out at a national chain so I’ve been going to small bookstores but there are very few in my area so I’m throwing in the towel. I’ve pre-ordered all three media’s and I’ll just wait until Tuesday.

It's not really a review in my opinion looks like it is just beta readers reactions as they read the books. Nothing is super specific though.

Same here. I might remember some of the references as I go along but I doubt I will. It would be like memorizing everyones superlatives in one of the chapter discussions threads.

This thread made me drive to 4 different bookstores yesterday.

I can honestly say I have never had this level of anticipation for a release of a book, TV show or movie. Brandon and his teams engagement with the fandom is a huge part of this. The chapter release greatly increased my anticipation and made the release feel more like months long event than a single release day.

As far as the Parshendi gemhearts I don't see how this could not have been discovered. Yes it is possible but there is obviously scholars on Roshar and the Parshendi are alien compared to humans. No one has dissected a Parshman after they die?

I’m not exactly sure either I think it is just a theory at this point. It has been asked and RAFO’d though. Btw holy crap I love the new Arcanum. So easy to find WoBs now.
